LIGHTWORKER 808: STARSEED ASCENSION SHORT-CUTS AND STAR RACES -- GFL & ASHTAR COMMAND DOWNLOAD
J--Tar'ia'h En Ra El -- jtariah@protonmail.com --www.20Dhealing.com

You probably think you are perusing this writing to learn more about starseed Ascension shortcuts and star races. Yet, reading these words begins your path towards a new reality. You are seeking your origins in the skies above: this is your quest. You are upon an adventurous intergalactic quest to find reflections of your innermost “self” -- patterns to identify with -- fractals which mirror you to your real Starseed family.

When you are truly Ascending and/or when you have already Ascended to the 5th Dimension, you will constantly be experiencing serendipity, a sense of inner wisdom, your body will be growing younger, and you will be instantly manifesting your wants and needs! Not quite there yet? Here are some super easy Starseed Ascension Shortcuts for you to use to rocket yourself to the 5th dimension and beyond!

Go Vegan Plus Probiotics -- this will get rid of all of your sleepiness and all groggy feelings, plus this will remove all ''time-loss'' scenarios!

Wear only Cotton or Hemp -- this will increase connections to your Guides, Angels, and Twin Flames, because synthetics block higher dimensions!

Remove Metal from Your Wardrobe --- this also increases connections to the Angelic realm. Only copper is Angel plusFaerie Sidhe friendly!

Be Celibate or Twin Flame Monogomous -- Being sensual only with your own Soul, with the self, with your Twin Flame heightens your dimension!

Create and Maintain Starseed Altars -- Creating Starseed Altars with your higher dimensional desires is a sure gateway to maintain your 5D reality!

Take Salt Baths -- Dunking in salt water followed by clear water daily removes 3D annd 4D residue from your Soul, body, and Merkaba!

Keep Crystals On You -- Drilled & copper-wrapped crystals -- and on your body, and in your bedroom -- help you maintain higher dimensions always!

Use Essential Oils & Hire Shamans for Healing -- Avoid western medicine in order to Ascend your pure Soul to the higher crystalline dimensions!

If you do not know ''HOW'' to do these shortcuts, write to me at jtariah@protonmail.com and I will help you out at no cost! And yes, I AM doing all of these shortcuts myself, daily!

Your Starseed relatives -- within the ships -- are attempting to talk with you now. They are trying all means of communication available. They approach you through dreams, visual signs, plus you may sense them physically of feel their ever-persistent presence in the psychic realms. Are you listening? Are you feeling? Are you sensing?

While you believe you are sleeping, you are -- in fact -- *on assignment* on your ship above. You are now attending ship-side schools related to your skill-set and Starseed race. Fundamentally, you're being *reprogrammed* for a brighter intergalactic future every night.

Many factors and tests (in the ships and higher dimensional areas while you believe you are sleeping) have decided your upcoming roles and jobs -– in the very near future -– in these primary arenas:
- Acting as a Liaison between Humans and many other Star Races;
- Being a journalist on one of many media 7D holo ships;
- Returning to your home planet for rest and reunions;
- Working in this system for the Ashtar Command;
- Being a VOYAGER with your Twin Flames;
- Employment in space farm agriculture;
- Negotiating within a liaison / alliance;
- Performing within a committee;
- Being an empath healer;
- Working for the GFL;
- Being an artist;
- Performer;
- Pilot.

Most of these posts involve living on a ship, if only for a short time. This calls for traveling to a different planet within another galaxy -- or to an alternative dimensional reality such as a parallel universe -- or to even to a higher frequency of expression.

While you are co-habitating within a starship, flagship or lightship, you will be interacting with those from across the Cosmos! They will not be comparable to anything you’ve seen, felt, or perceived with your current reality veils (in this incarnation thus far).

Since you are now experiencing dimensional shifts leading to *life aboard the ships with your star race family* it is crucial to be as open-minded and open-hearted as possible: there are infinite prisms of kindness and utility that can be found within each planetary civilization.

Your Starseed relatives cannot *yet* be completely understood from your current vantage point, but will be holistically perceivable during your ecstatic love-filled multidimensional Starseed reunion.

You will be surrounded by non-human *family* on these ships (and your appearance will most definitely reflect theirs in your future). What will they look like? What will they be like? Here are some basic essential traits of just a few of the planetary star races you will relate with very soon:

Andromedans:
1) The 7D, 8D and 9D humanoid group-thinkers from the Andromedan Star System, or; 2) term identifying the race of sentient service-to-other beings occupying the livable planets such as Aion in the Andromeda sector, as well as; 3) Sentients known for perfecting co-creation for peacefully-running planets and star bases.

Arcturians:
1) Both 6D and 7D Sentient service-to-other beings occupying the livable planets and bases in the area of the star Arcturus, and; 2) These individuals are known by their deep compassion and unfailing kindness towards all walks of life in all dimensions.

Centaurians from Meton in Alpha Centauri:
1) 7D - 12D Loving high dimensional humanoids who are descendants of Venus Beings; and 2) Wildly strategic deep mental thinkers who are holographically connected to the Great Central Sun and maintain a 12D Akashic Library within it, and; 3) Gorgeous brainy beings whose ships appear in the form of a Merkaba spinning.

Centaurians from Proximi Centauri:
1) 5D to 7D Beings who come in the form of Humanoids and Reptoids, and hybrids who have both types of DNA; 2) Strategists, counselors, and empaths who are excellent benevolent thought-broadcasters; 3) machine savants who can fix anything mechanical, and; 4) Peaceful and harmonious group-thinkers with telepathy.

Lyrans:
1) Felines -- the original progenitor race of this Universe -- who are beautiful bipedal (standing) cats, and; 2) 6D through 12D Creators originally from the Vegan Star System of a planet called Lyra, but now live everywhere in the Universe, and; 3) Planners of many flagships and living planets, plus; 4) Cat-Beings who have a keen sense of fair play in all arenas, plus; 5) Sentients who believe that their young have more wisdom than elders.

Orion Beings:
1) 4D and 5D polymorphs who are either chameleon-reptilian or humanoid-reptilian hybrids, and; 2) Beings from the Orion System – also called the Orion Nebula – whom reside upon planets and space stations throughout the Universe, and; 3) Individuals and soul-collectives from Orion who have tendencies towards high intellectual pursuits in physics, plus; 4) Sentients whose self-ascension practices are linked to extreme isolation, as well as; 5) Beings well-known for the utter perfection of holographic recreation of other star races' emvironments.

Pegasians from the Pegasus Galaxy:
1) Humanoid descendants from Sirius B and Dinoids plus hybrids who have DNA from both; 2) Innovators, scientists, and diplomats in many sectors; 3) Expert polite gracious beings who are expert in creating peace, plus; 4) Linguists whose brains are adept and learning thousands of languages at once.

Pleiadians:
1) 5D and 6D humanoids as well as reptilian-humanoid hybrids (in gorgeous prismatic skin colors) from the planets surrounding the stars Targeta and Maia; 2) Soul-collective service-to-others beings who are artistic and sensual in nature, plus; 3) Beings who are masters of storytelling as well as inspired artistic ingenuity in
both music and projected visualizations.

Sirians from Sirius A:
1) 6D - 8D hybrids with a variety of humanoid, canine, and fox-like appearances resulting from tremendous dna manipulation, as well as; 2) Star races who are experts in bodily implant-device-tracking over eons of time, plus; 3) Beings well-versed in hyper-advanced bio-technology and organic holographic realities, and; 4) Sentients who are well-known across the Universe for their senses of humor, and their love of practical jokes.

Sirians from Sirius B:
1) Nektons of hyper-intelligent water beings -- called Chloglians, who look like Cetaceans (dolphins, whales, and orcas) of Earthshan -- whom group-think within pods, and; 2) Chloglian-humanoid hybrids, who are bipedal in shades of pale blues and greens, and; 3) Higher dimensional Sentients who reside in and upon many planets to raise vibrations, plus; 4) Playful and loving group-consciousness beings, known for their intricate songs, and also; 5) Advanced Beings who can live as numerous souls (called a pod) within one biological entity, such as a whale or orca.

Now that you have some depictions of some of your biological star race relatives, spend some time each day communicating with them -- until you have a constant rapport -- so you can quickly Ascend upward beyond the mundane.

Multidimensional life with your Starseed relatives is multi-layered, and must be cultivated by **you** making an effort to be alert to all subtleties. You need to reach out towards your Star relatives to begin communicating with them to have a relationship with them in a pro-active way!

It is the time to discipline yourself to be silent and aware of every nuance through waking hours of hearing (e.g.; you hear songs about specific constellations, star beings, etc.). Also it is vital to be hyper-aware of what you’re seeing (i.e.; you notice paintings of aliens, observing lightships everywhere, seeing number sequences indicating names of universes). Focus all of your six senses on receiving signals from your NOW future’s new realities.

Force your inner “Self” to wake up! Attempt to be lucid while your projected Earthshan body sleeps: talk to whomever you meet in dreams, as they just might be your relatives in the ships above.
In the near future -- the upcoming articles will cover electrifying intergalactic chronicles, including: future home planets, Starseed missions, how to interact with non-organic life forms, and more! Meanwhile, WAKE UP -- shake others awake -- and remember that you are not *Home* yet…

Not bad for an amateur effort… Amateur photographers have submitted photos for National Geographic's 125th anniversary. Wish you were here?

Your Shot: Beautiful images from the readers of National Geographic

National Geographic magazine turned 125 this month, with an anniversary issue devoted to the power of photography. The magazine moves the birthday celebration off its pages with the October 1st public launch of a photo-sharing platform, Your Shot (NGYourShot.com), that allows photography fans to connect with photographers and editors around virtual assignments, get direct feedback on their work and participate in a unique photography-based community. One of the magazine’s young star photographers, Cory Richards, will usher in the month as lead curator of the magazine’s first assignment on Your Shot.

Led by Richards and his magazine photo editor, Sadie Quarrier, the assignment invites
photographers to share three images that convey how photography can help us explore our changing world. Throughout the assignment, Richards and Quarrier will provide photo tips and feedback on the images that are submitted along with direction on what they feel will best help tell the story. Their favorite photograph will be selected to appear in a future issue of National Geographic magazine. Participants must join Your Shot, National Geographic’s free online photo community and storytelling platform, to submit photos to the assignment, which runs until Oct. 22. (National Geographic)

Here's a look at some of the offers for the first assignment, "Explore our Changing World" and links to the galleries of the photographers.

Inviting someone to church isn’t as hard as you might think!

by Mary Writer on Friday, September 6th, 2013

Do you know someone that you would like to invite to your church but you hesitate because you don’t think you have much in common? This funny video shows us that sometimes all we have to do is just ask!

Even if you might think you don’t have much in common with someone - they might surprise you by saying yes. So don’t be shy – it’s not as hard as you might think – and wouldn’t it be nice if the one thing you had in common with someone was the most important thing… A Love for God?

Album: The Silent Awakening

The fires are burning

The fires are burning

So reach for me
Like the petals of a rose
Bloom in its season
Gentle and slow

My body is the mountain
The ocean, the river
The sand and the soil
The life giver

So come on now
My friend
Speak to me
Help me understand

Let us walk
Together
Take my hand
And we will heal this land

We will heal this land
Do you hear the call
We will heal this land
If you could only believe

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that there is a solution to every problem.

Nothing is insoluable. Nothing. Do everything that you
can to avoid the temptation of thinking that what is
facing you now is insurmountable. That is simply not true.

You cannot see the solution, of course, if you are
convinced it is not there. So you must have great faith
in life. Do you have great faith in life? Now would be a
good time to show it. Smile. Relax. It'll all be okay.

You will not have to think more than a second to
know exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you will only benefit from resisting the temptation
to think immediately about the worst possible outcome.

When something comes up, when something happens
in your life, that disrupts the easy "flow," it is always
better to bless it than to damn it. Try to see it as nothing
serious. It most cases, it will not be.

Jumping to conclusions mired in negativity only thwarts
the process by which your mind can stay clear, and
thus find a way out of the momentary dilemma.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the method of the enterprising is to plan with
audacity and execute with vigor.

Christian Nevell Bovee said that, and it is a valuable
observation. As we experience this holiday season, and
you begin thinking about the New Year ahead, plan
with audacity.

And as you move into the New Year, execute your
plans with vigor. There is excitement in life -- but you
have to put it there.

Incidentally, you may begin executing with vigor right
now. Why wait?

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that it is literally true that you can succeed best and
quickest by helping others to succeed.

Napoleon Hill said that, and he was right. Nothing
ensures success like ensuring another's success. And
there is someone who is looking for your help and
your support today.

Lift that person up, give that person credit, do whatever
you can to help that person be a success. And always
remember: What goes around, comes around.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that on this New Year's Eve a miracle can occur.

Tonight we ring out the old and ring in the new. And
more--much more--can change than simply the dates
on the calendar. You can resolve this night to change
your entire life...or any aspect of your self and your
experience that you choose.

And should old acquaintance be forgot, and never
brought to mind? No. Keep old friends near, and
old loves dear. For they will help you make those
changes in your life that will produce miracles,
if you let them.

Happy, happy New Year!

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that every day is a New Beginning.

A new cycle begins this day, yet a new cycle begins
every day. Indeed, every moment. So if you recognize
anything on this day, recognize what it symbolizes: The
miracle of the endlessly continuing Cycle of Life.

What a grand day! What a time for celebration! We
begin again today! We turn the page! And so, let go
of all that you do not wish to carry with you any further.

Any fear, any sadness, any anger, any resentment, any
disappointment, any lament...let it all go. And now,
using the specialness of this day as a springboard,
let's get on with Life!

Love, Your Friend....

10900598079?profile=original

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that it is well to think well. It is divine to act well.

Horace Mann said that, and he was right. Thinking is
just the first step in creation. You've had some
wonderful ideas lately about changes you want to make
in your life. Now it's time to put those thoughts into a
action, yes?

Love, Your Friend....

10900598079?profile=original

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the opposite of a correct statement is a false
statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may
well be another profound truth.

Niels Bohr said that, and he was right. In fact, there
have been few statements in the history of statement-
making that were more accurate than that one. So be
aware and stay awake! The Law of Opposites
sometimes leads you to a Divine Dichotomy.

Two opposing truths can exist simultaneously in the
same space. Do not therefore assume that That Which
Opposes You is That Which Is Not Good For You.
It may be just the reverse.

Love, Your Friend....

10900598079?profile=original

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the cycles of life are endless -- and always serve
you, because life is a process that serves Life Itself.

When things seem to be shifting away from you,
moving in the other direction, closing doors,
shutting down opportunities, remember that all things
are cyclical -- including Life Itself.

What you are experiencing is temporary -- whether it's
"good" OR "bad." So stop calling it one thing or the
other, and simply embrace it as What's Happening Now.

You'll move through it all much more peacefully.

And, one day, you'll call it ALL "good."

Love, Your Friend....

10900598079?profile=original

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that as you start the first full work week of the New
Year you should do no 'work' at all.

The point of your activities throughout the day is not to
make a living, but to make a life; not to 'work' but to
create joy. If you are doing what you are doing merely
to 'pay the bills,' you will have missed the major reason
for All Of Life.

The purpose of life is to know and express Who You
Are. If you do other than that during the days and times
of your life, you will have not used those days and times
in a way that profits your soul. It is soul profit we are
after here, not body profit.

This first week of the New Year is a good time to
contemplate that, yes?

Love, Your Friend....

10900598079?profile=original

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that every increased possession
loads us with a new weariness.

John Ruskin said that, and he was right. Life is not
about our physical or material possessions, it is about
the Agenda of our Soul. When material possessions
serve that agenda, they can be wonderful and are to
be celebrated. But if they come between us
and the soul, then we may very well be delayed
on our holy journey.

Our journey is the path back to peace, to harmony,
to deep inner joy, to love, and to God.

Love, Your Friend....

10900598079?profile=original

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that happiness is good health and a bad memory.

Ingrid Bergman said that, and it is so true. Memories,
of course, bring up moments that are past, whereas
happiness is always found in the moment that is here,
now.

Constantly remembering bad things, or sad things, can
rob you of your present -- that is, your pre-sent -- joy.

Happiness has been sent to you in advance by God. It
is here, in this moment, if you will seize it...and share it.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that change cannot be avoided in life. So do not
resist change, embrace it.

Life is changing all the time -- and certainly the
day-to-day conditions on our planet are changing
now in ways we could not have expected -- so the
fact of change is real, and very present.

Our invitation from life is to not let changes get us

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that this is probably a good time for you to re-set
your priorities. Decide anew what's important to you.

If it's been a while since you've looked at this, maybe
you should stop what you're doing and look at it today.

What is really important right now? WHO is really
important right now?

Go do that. Go right to that. Put that on the top of your
list for today. Do it now. Do it now.

On this day of your life, believe God wants you to know...
...that things work in society, because biology compels it.

Order eventually restores itself, by psychic equilibrium.

Camille Paglia said that, and it is important to remember
during these times of great change and apparent turmoil.

Conversations with God puts it this way: Life works
out in the process of Life Itself.

All you have to do is trust that it will, and allow it to.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you are part of a Larger Whole, and you are
never, ever alone.

It is tempting, during difficult times, to feel very much
alone, as if you are taking this journey in solo form,
with no one at your side, and no one on your side.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

You are an aspect of The Divine. God lives in you,
through you. "I am with you always, even unto the end
of time" are not just pretty words. They are truth.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that it is the neglect of timely repair that makes
rebuilding necessary.

Richard Whately said that, and he was right. Take a
look today at what you need to repair. Who has been
hurt by you...or ignored?
Don't get into a lot of guilt around this -- just repair it.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that your Inner Life is begging you for some attention.
Can you not hear your soul calling to you?

Please do not ignore this call any longer. Please do not
say, "Yeah, yeah, tonight." Or..."Okay, I get it. Starting
tomorrow I will meditate every morning..."

Stop everything right this minute. If only for 90 seconds.

And say hello to your soul. Reconnect. Touch in. And
listen to what you are trying to tell yourself.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that in Hollywood if you don't have happiness, you
send out for it.

Rex Reed offers us that bit of humor today--but there
is more truth than humor in it...because this is exactly
what God says about LIFE.

If you don't have happiness...send out for it! God
will be your delivery man. But don't beg God. Don't
plead. Put your order in knowing you will receive it.

All things work out in the end, and happiness is but
an attitude change away. So smile. Really. Smile.

In truth, we're all wearing The Emperor's New Clothes.

We parade before the world naked--thinking that no
one can see us. Why not just be proudly revealed, and

thankfulness in advance is the way of all Masters. So
do not wait for a thing to happen and then give thanks.

Give thanks before it happens, and watch energies swirl!
To thank God before something occurs is an act of
extraordinary faith. And that, of course, is where the

Why not make it Thanksgiving Day in the hearts of

It can be difficult, when you think you know a better way

Unless someone's life or safety depends on it, do try.

You would not welcome someone else pointing out
your own misstep, or less-than-totally-efficient approach

having to try to make yet one more place "like home."

Yet home is a quality you bring to a place, not a quality
that a place brings to you. Let yourself feel at home

welcome...'home'?

The new scams you need to know about

The new scams you need to know about

Here are some of the most devious new ways that fraudsters are trying to use to empty your bank account…
Felicity Hannah – Fri, Aug 23, 2013 16:59 BST

We’ve improved at spotting online scams over the last few years. We know we’ve not won the World Wide Super Lottery.

We’ve come to accept that an exiled Nigerian princess who begins her email with ‘Beloved!’ probably doesn’t want to transfer $32 million into our bank accounts. We’ve even, mostly, accepted that we haven’t won a super yacht.

But as we get smarter at spotting scams, the scammers get smarter too. And with the scammers as desperate to get hold of our money as we are to protect our savings, it’s an arms race of ingenuity.

Here are some of the tricks and deceptions currently being used to try to steal from you. Forewarned really is forearmed.

The false police detective

If I hadn’t read about this scam, I know I would easily have fallen for it. Someone pretending to be a police officer phones your home and says your bank cards have been compromised.

They ask for your card details so they can freeze them – and get you to type your PIN into the phone, which they can record.

If you become suspicious, they ask you to hang up and call 999 to check they are who they say. However, because they stay on the line, they are still connected when you dial another number. They can pretend to be the 999 operative and verify the call is genuine. That’s the genius of this scam.

So you are connected back through to the fake police officer, ready to hand over your details.

According to some victims, the scammers even send a courier around to collect their bank cards and then kept them on the phone until their accounts were emptied and their credit cards maxed out.

See Video: http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/video/money-works-protects-money-152815447.html

The fake bank official

The phoney police officer is a particularly compelling version of this scam, but crooks use this phone trick often. It’s very common for them to pretend to be calling from your bank.

What to do
If you’re verifying a call is from the police, a service provider or your bank then don’t just hang up and call back immediately. Call a number you already know, like a friend or the talking clock – just to check the line really is clear.

The call from ‘Windows Tech Support’

My mother is not a stupid woman; she’s a GP and she uses computers every day. But she fell for a scam where a concerned caller claimed to be from ‘Windows Tech Support’ to check that her computer was virus free.

The persuasive caller talked her through ‘checking’ her machine was virus free, by looking at her Event Viewer, which logs any error reports. It is perfectly normal for errors and warnings to be listed here, but my mother didn’t know and believed the caller when they said these were dangerous viruses.

She allowed the caller remote access to her PC and gave him her card details. Fortunately, her credit card company phoned her to check the enormous payment the scammers were trying to steal and then froze her cards. Making sure her computer was virus and spyware free took a full week.

And it's not just 'Windows Tech Support' that try to get into your computer - I know examples of people pretending to be from BT or offering free "security" scans of your computer.

What to do
Be aware of this clever scam, and don’t be afraid to run an internet search if you get a call that you’re not sure about. Most scams will have already been outed online.

Fictional tax rebates or demands

Unfortunately, the taxman has really played into scammers hands. There has been a lot of press recently about the fact that so many Brits are on the wrong tax code, meaning rebates or tax demands.

Scammers really play on this by sending fraudulent emails pretending to be from HMRC demanding payment or promising to make a payment if you just provide your bank details.

Hyperlinks within these emails take you to official-looking pages, where the criminals will relieve you of enough information to empty your bank account. Sometimes these emails pretend to be from your bank and they can look startlingly genuine.

What to do
A good habit to keep you safe is to never follow links, and to navigate to the official page by using a search engine instead.

The illegal pornography scam

This is really awful, because it frightens people and stops them thinking clearly. You receive a fraudulent email purporting to be from PayPal. It claims that your account has been implicated in an illegal pornography transaction and blocked.

It demands your financial details so it can lift the block and let you avoid a police investigation – and you may be so scared that you comply.

Perhaps you’re frightened you’ve accidentally accessed illegal material while downloading legal content; perhaps you think your PC has been hacked and used for nefarious purposes; perhaps you’re so upset that you don’t think that clearly at all. Instead, you hand over your account details to thieves.

What to do
If you really were in trouble, be it justified or not, handing over your bank details would do nothing to help you get out of it. Don’t let them intimidate you.

What’s the cleverest or worst scam you’ve encountered online? Did you fall for it? Share your thoughts with other readers using the comments below.

The plant that could cost you your home

The spread of Japanese knotweed is cause for concern for all homeowners

If, like me, you are not particularly green-fingered, you might think that one plant looks pretty much like another. In which case you are in danger of missing a silent assassin gaining strength within your garden.

Japanese knotweed looks like lots of other weeds to the untrained eye, but it has the power to ruin your home and cost you thousands of pounds.

Pity the couple in Hertfordshire that were told a couple of years ago that their £300,000 four-bed home needed to be demolished in order to treat the scourge of Japanese knotweed that had penetrated their walls.

The plant had spread from waste ground near the newly-built property and quickly advanced the length of the garden to enter their home through walls and skirting boards. Surveyors told them that the value of the property had dropped to just £50,000, and that the only way to effectively remove the scourge was to knock the house down, treat the plant and then rebuild.

And imagine the disappointment of the home seller who saw his deal fall through within weeks of exchange because a tiny 3cm piece of Japanese knotweed had been found in his garden. His buyer’s lender panicked and refused to lend the mortgage.

These are clearly extreme examples but Japanese knotweed is almost always a problem for homeowners (and potentially their neighbours).

What exactly is Japanese knotweed?

Japanese knotweed has been in the UK since the 1800s, having been introduced as an ornamental plant by the Victorians.

It looks pretty innocuous, like many plants or weeds, and is described by the Environment Agency as lush green in colour with shovel shaped leaves and a stem that looks like bamboo. It also produces white flowers in autumn and grows rapidly, up to 10cm a day.

It spreads like wildfire through its stems underground, growing a metre in a month and potentially causing heave below buildings.

Once the concrete or tarmac cracks from the heave, the plant has a way into your home, working its way through the tiny gaps and potentially causing structural damage or blocking drains. It’s the most invasive plant in the UK and very persistent indeed.

What to do about it?

Whatever you do, don’t ignore it. Japanese knotweed grows rapidly and if it infects your neighbours’ gardens and properties you could be liable for damages. So if you see it in your garden, deal it with properly and quickly.

You need to focus on stopping the plant spreading and getting rid of it. Believe it or not the Environment Agency takes this problem so seriously it has produced a knotweed code of practice to guide those involved in the disposal of the plant through the specific measures that should be undertaken.

It’s targeted towards firms that are involved in the disposal of the plant, but if you have Japanese knotweed on your land it is still essential reading, as it will give you an idea of what you should expect any professionals you employ to be doing.

Key things to be aware of are:

• If you are having the weed fully excavated and disposed of, any contractor you employ needs to be registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier. The agency’s website also allows you to search for contractors in your area on its Waste Directory.

• You can also treat the knotweed more slowly with a combination of herbicide treatment and careful excavation if you have no urgent need to get rid of it. But this will take at least three years and you will still have to dispose of the soil in line with the code of practice mentioned above. Plus you should still get a qualified person to carry out the treatment and if you live near a river or stream, you need permission from the Environment Agency before using any chemicals.

• You can burn the waste from Japanese knotweed but you should inform your Local Authority and pay heed to best practice guidelines.

• Soil containing burnt remains of Japanese knotweed may also be buried on the site where it was produced, but very specific guidelines need to be adhered to. Plus you need to inform the Environment Agency a week in advance if burying the waste from your knotweed.

As you can see, there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get rid of this plant properly and it’s little wonder many people pay a contractor to ensure the job is done properly.

But what should you do if you notice this plant and you are about to sell your home? Do you need to go through all of these measures first, or can you sell up with the knotweed in your garden?

Or can you take a risk and just cut it down the day before the viewings and the survey and hope for the best? No!

Be upfront

To be blunt, if you are trying to sell your home and you discover Japanese knotweed in your garden, it is likely to cause you problems. Some buyers won’t touch a house if they know this plant is in the garden, or even neighbouring gardens. And even those that are willing to deal with it may find their mortgage lender will not offer them a loan once they learn of it, because of its potential to cause damage.

But it’s not all bad news. According to the Council of Mortgage Lenders many lenders will now consider lending on a property with Japanese knotweed (and they expect their surveyor to spot it during the valuation). They usually consider applications on a case-by-case basis and look for evidence of an initial treatment, with a commitment to an ongoing treatment programme.

Another reason not to contemplate hiding the presence of Japanese knotweed in your garden is that the Property Information Form used during the property sale transaction has recently been updated to specifically ask a question about it.

However, if you lie on this form you are leaving yourself open to a misrepresentation claim from your buyer, since the documents form part of the pre-contract enquiries and are legally binding.

Japanese knotweed can be a major problem for homeowners but it can also be dealt with if caught early and treated effectively by an experienced contractor. If you have the weed in your garden, tackle it head on because, one thing is certain, it won’t go away without a fight!

Japanese Knotweed Recipes
last modified September 05, 2008

After harvesting this thug, try some of these delicious recipes.

Recipes Utilizing Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum)

Applesauce-Knotweed Cake

For this recipe, you’ll need to harvest Japanese Knotweed stalks at the “wild rhubarb” stage, which typically shows up around the end of April in the Boston area.

Look for stalks about 18-24 inches long, select the fattest stalks you can (at least 3/4 inch in diameter – they’re easier to peel that way), cut at ground level, lop off the top cluster of leaves and bring the stalks home.

Once you’ve got them home, peel the very outer layer (which is stringy) off of each stalk;

Japanese Knotweed stalks are hollow, though, so don’t peel too deeply or all you’ll have left is the hole.

You can eat the peeled stalks raw if you want (their tart, juicy, crunchy texture and flavor is somewhat like that of a Granny Smith apple), or just chop them up for use in the recipe below or just about any other recipe calling for rhubarb.

Ingredients

• 3 eggs
• 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon allspice
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 cup plain applesauce
• 4 firmly-packed cups peeled Japanese Knotweed stalk pieces

(chop or knead the peeled stalks into small pieces <1” long).

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

• powdered sugar Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 13” by 9” baking pan.

Beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until blended.

In the meantime, mix the flour, baking soda and spices together in a separate bowl.

Add the flour mixture to the mixing bowl, then add the applesauce, knotweed pieces and walnuts and mix until blended.

Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and spread evenly.

Bake at 350ºF for one hour, then remove from the oven and cool on a wire drying rack.

Dust the top with powdered sugar.

Serve warm or cold.

Makes 15 good-sized servings.

Any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for use in the next few days or frozen for longer storage.

Go Anywhere Knotweed Squares

You’ll need to harvest Japanese Knotweed stalks at the “wild rhubarb” stage for this recipe, which typically shows up around the first week of May in the Boston area.

Look for stalks about 18-24 inches long, select the fattest stalks you can (at least ¾ inch in diameter – they’re easier to peel that way), cut at ground level, lop off the top cluster of leaves and bring the stalks home.

Once you’ve got them home, peel the very outer layer (which is stringy) off of each stalk; Japanese Knotweed stalks are hollow, though, so don’t peel too deeply or all you’ll have left is the hole.

You can eat the peeled stalks raw if you want (their tart, juicy, crunchy texture and flavor is somewhat like that of a Granny Smith apple), or just chop them up for use in the recipe below or just about any other recipe calling for rhubarb.

Ingredients For bottom crust:

• 1 cup flour

• 1/3 cup confectioners sugar

• 1/3 cup butter (cold) For filling:

• 2 eggs, lightly beaten

• 1 cup sugar

• 1/4 cup flour

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1/2 teaspoon allspice

• 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg

• 3 firmly-packed cups peeled Japanese Knotweed stalk pieces (chop or knead the peeled stalks into small pieces <1” long) Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Grease an 11” by 7” by 2” baking pan.

Put crust ingredients into a food processor and pulverize until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press into the bottom of the baking pan and bake at 350ºF for 12 minutes.

To make the filling,

place all the ingredients except the Knotweed into a bowl and mix together; then stir in the Knotweed pieces.

Pour filling mixture over the warm crust and spread evenly.

Bake at 350ºF for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick stuck into it comes out clean.

Cool on a wire rack.

Cut into brownie-sized pieces and serve warm.

Any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for use in the next few days or frozen for longer storage.

Japanese Knotweed Recipe - Knotweed Summer Rolls

Since Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) is so common and highly invasive here in southern New England, it is easy to find in quantity in the early spring.

It is best picked as a tart, toothsome shoot before it gets much bigger than 8" tall.

As it grows, it get tough and stringy and more difficult to incorporate into a recipe.

We have made quite a few sweet recipes with knotweed, like dessert bars, jelly and tapioca.

Here is a savory idea made with raw, sliced knotweed shoots to eat as part of an early spring, edible weed dinner.

We added some other spring edibles as well, all of which are optional or have similar common substitutes.

Any Thai style sweet-sour-spicy dipping sauce is great on the side, and most of the more exotic ingredients are available at an Asian grocery store.

To dip and soften the rice paper wrappers, I use a large pie plate filled with warm water.

It is a good idea to have extra wrappers, since they may rip. Depending on how full you make the wrappers, there will be 6-8 rolls.

Japanese Knotweed Summer Rolls makes 6-8 rolls

6-10 8" Vietnamese rice paper wrappers
3 oz. bean thread noodle cakes
1 c. thinly sliced Japanese knotweed shoot stems
1/2 c. chickweed greens, or parsley and cilantro leaves
3 Tbsp dandelion flower petals
2 Tbsp chopped ramps leaves, or chopped scallions
4 Tbsp shredded carrots

Thai dipping sauce

1. Soak the bean thread noodles in hot water for 10 minutes, until they soften. Rinse and drain well.
2. In a bowl, add the chopped knotweed, chickweed greens, dandelion petals, ramps, and carrots to the bean thread noodles. Toss well.
3. Soften the rice paper wrappers in warm water for about 15 seconds until they are pliable. Place on a smooth surface.
4. Take about 1/2 cup of the noodle filling and place it in the center of the top third of the wrapper. Fold over the top of the wrapper to cover the filling, then fold in the two sided toward the center. Now roll the filled wrapper towards the bottom, enclosing the filling completely. This may take some practice!
5. Chill the summer rolls for 15 minutes, and serve with a spicy-sweet Thai dipping sauce.

Japanese Knotweed Recipe - Knotweed Dessert Bars

We put his recipe up last year, but it really is good and the knotweed is at the optimum height right now. This should be made ideally with the thickest, but shortest stalks you can find so they will be fleshy without any woodiness.

Japanese Knotweed Dessert Bars makes a 11" x 7" pan

Crust:

1 c. flour
1 c. confectioners sugar
6 T cold butter

Filling:
2 large eggs, beaten
2/3 c. white sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. grated fresh nutmeg
3 c. chopped knotweed stalks, leaves removed

1. Heat the oven to 350°F. Grease the 11" x 7" baking pan.

2. In a food processor, pulse the crust ingredients together to resemble coarse crumbs. Press the crumbs into the bottom of the pan evenly. Bake the crust for 12 minutes.

3. For the filling, combine the eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla, and spices with a whisk. Stir in the chopped knotweed pieces and coat them evenly. Pour the filling mixture over the warm crust and spread it evenly.
4. Bake 30-40 minutes, until the egg mixture is set and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool. Cut into 1" squares and serve.

When you are most vulnerable to fraud

Whenever you answer the phone or use your card, fraudsters could be trying to con you out of money. So when are you most at risk and what can you do about it?

The number of people being scammed out of money at cash points has tripled in the first four months of this year, according to figures from Financial Fraud Action (FFA).

The rise has been attributed to ‘shoulder-surfing’ and ‘skimming’ – for example a fraudster reading your PIN over your shoulder after fitting devices to the ATM to either trap your card or read its details.

In January 1,173 cases were reported to be the number has steadily increased to 2,276 at the end of April.

However it’s not just cash points being targeted. The crime has also been reported at Transport For London ticket machines. And in a similar vein, more people are falling prey to theft by distraction at supermarkets, FFA found.

The increase in so-called ‘crude fraud’ comes after security for online transactions and banking has become been beefed up.

Britons are being urged to protect their details when using a card – either to pay or take cash out of an ATM. If your card is swallowed by a machine for any reason, report it to your card company immediately – ideally using your mobile phone while you are still in front of the machine.

If a cashpoint looks as though it’s been tampered with, don’t use it.

But this is far from the only time you're vulnerable to fraudsters. So we've taken a look at the key times and places fraudsters target people, as well as what you can do to protect yourself.

When the phone rings

‘Courier fraud’ takes place when a victim gets a fake call under the guise of a bank or financial provider to say that the victim’s account has been compromised and they would like to collect the card.

The target is then tricked into handing over their PIN and card.

However, a bank will never ring to tell you that they are coming around to pick up your card, so never hand it over to anyone who comes to ‘collect it’. Financial services providers never ask for PINs – even through typing it into the phone

– so don’t give it out.

Mobile phone fraud has become more of a problem in recent years. Among the tricks, is the ‘missed call’ scam - when people call back a number that they don’t recognise and are directed to a premium rate number. Consumers are therefore urged not phone or text unsolicited numbers.

Also beware any unsolicited calls. Anything from someone trying to sell you shares through to telling you your child has played truant and there is a fine to pay. If it's a real call you will never be penalised for not paying immediately and in most cases fine notices are issued through the post.

When you check your email

Despite the increase in online security, there are still some fraudsters who have found ways to get around it, notably through phishing and cloning.

This is when fraudsters trick consumers into disclosing information by copying reputable websites or sending emails in the name of a trusted brand.

More recently fraudsters have fooled people into paying for passport advice or information through copycat emails and websites.

Consumers should always be suspicious of unsolicited emails that are supposedly from a reputable organisation, such as your bank or the tax office.

Never go to the site by clicking on a link in an email. Check the web address when you do get there too - the login page on your bank’s website address should start with “https”, for example.

Don't forget traditional mail/post

It's hardly new, but it's still something to be aware of. Fraudsters still send out unsolicited letters with "special offers" or telling you "you've been selected" for a special prize.

More worryingly, they also still intercept mail. You need to be especially careful if you live in shared accommodation or have just one front door to multiple addresses.

It only takes one or two bills or card statements for as fraudster to gather enough information about you to impersonate you and take out debt in your name. Make sure these aren't left around unopened and make a list of which bills you're expecting so you are aware if one doesn't arrive.

Hackers target more than eight million computers
lovemoney.com – Mon, Feb 11, 2013 15:05 GMT

A cyber-scam network, which has infected more than eight million computers around the world in the past two years, has been shut down.

Microsoft and Symantec combined forces and closed down the hackers' network last week

The hackers used an online virus, known as the “Bamital Botnet”, to gain access to personal details stored on PCs.

Cyber-crime network
The botnet was used by criminals to access people’s PCs and hijack online search results. It would then lead the user to an unknown website which could start downloading malware, steal their personal information or charge businesses for false online advertisement clicks.

It also led users to websites they never intended to vist. For example, one user was redirected from an official Norton Internet Security Page, which appeared in a list of search results, to a rogue antivirus website distributing malware.

Although exact numbers aren’t known, Microsoft says more than eight million computers have been targeted with this virus in the past two years and 300,000 were disconnected this week from the network.

On 31st January Microsoft filed a lawsuit which was supported by Symantec to the botnet’s operators to sever communication lines. This didn’t happen, so data centres across the US were raided and the infected servers were disrupted.

Those computers which had been infected were then disconnected from the virus network. Users were directed to get rid of the virus.

This is the sixth time in the last three years that Microsoft has stopped a cybercrime network and the second in cooperation with Symantec.

“It was done in such a sneaky way that most victims wouldn’t have even noticed a problem while the botnet was still operating,” explained Richard Domigues Boscovich, assistant general counsel for Microsoft Digital Crimes Unit.

“Because the data gathered from this takedown will become part of Microsoft’s ongoing research in support of protecting its customers from a range of evolving online security threats, we can actually use the criminals’ infrastructure against them and make it harder and more expensive for them to commit cybercrime,” he added.

How to disinfect your computer
Computers which are currently infected with the virus were contacted with a message from Microsoft.

It appeared when the user attempted to search for something on the internet and told the user their computer was very likely to be infected with malware which was redirecting the results of their search queries.

Two free programmes were then listed, Microsoft Safety Scanner and the Norton Power Eraser, which users were encouraged to run to disinfect their computers. More information on how to clear the virus from your computer can be found on the Microsoft Support website.

How to avoid cyber crime
The best way to avoid being hacked is to keep your computer’s security systems up to date and regularly scan for infections. It’s also vital to use different passwords for all the accounts you use online and to use a password which isn’t likely to be hacked.

If your personal details have been stolen criminals can use them to get access to your accounts or apply for credit in your name. Therefore check your bank statements regularly and your credit record as this is where you’ll be able to spot any irregularities.

If you do see something untoward, such as a payment you haven’t authorised, call your bank immediately and let it know.

How to protect your PINs and passwords
by Cliff D'Arcy on 25 September 2012

As new research reveals some of us are making it far too easy for criminals to guess our passwords and PINs, here are some ways to ensure you protect yourself properly.

New research has found that a staggering one in nine of us use '1234' as the PIN for our bank cards. While it might be easy to remember, it's also one of the first numbers a criminal would try if they got hold of your card.

Other popular, and therefore dangerous, combinations include the James Bond-influenced '0007' and '1984', which might show good taste in literature but could leave your bank account cleaned out.

So how do you set a safe password or PIN? Here are my top tips.

Pathetic passwords

The worst of all passwords – and one of the most common – is 'password'. This is as bad as no password at all. Don't use it, ever.

Other poor passwords include '123456', 'abc123' and 'qwerty' (the first six letters from the top left of the letter keyboard). Using your first and last names (such as 'cliffdarcy') is weak, too.

Also, 'computer' is a pretty silly password.

'Monday' is another bad password – when we discovered our IT master was using it at school, we promptly changed it to 'Tuesday'. 'Letmein' (let me in) and 'iloveyou' (I love you) are also pretty feeble.

Many passwords require a minimum of six letters and, for some reason, 'monkey' is a popular choice.

Other easily found passwords may be your favourite football team or a family member's name. Thanks to public databases and social networking, your supposedly private life may be laid bare for cyber-crooks to sift through.

Another terrible password is the name of the website you're visiting. For example, Barclays customers using 'Barclays' as a password are frankly asking for trouble.

One key opens many locks

Another problem arises if you use a single password to access many different websites. In this scenario, once I have one password, I have access to all your accounts. In effect, you're giving me a master key to open all your locks and make a 'clean sweep'.

Nevertheless, almost half of us use the same or similar passwords to access multiple sites. Naughty, naughty!

Passwords should be unique to each website you visit and every account you use. If you can't remember them, then write them down in a coded message and securely hide this piece of paper. Alternatively, use a Password Safe such as that developed by American cryptography expert Bruce Schneier.

How to create stronger passwords

Of course, strong passwords are more complicated than weak ones, but that's the whole point. They are harder to guess or find with a 'dictionary attack' (searching around 200,000 commonly used words in English).

To create strong passwords, you should:

1. Use at least eight characters and, ideally, more.
2. Use a mix of upper-case and lower-case letters, numbers and keyboard characters accessed via the shift key and non-letter keys.
3. Don't use your name, family names, slang words, swear words, words found in dictionaries and first names. These are easy meat for the professional cracker.

For more advice, read this report from online-security firm Imperva (PDF document) on the infamous hack of 32 million passwords from the RockYou.com website in December 2009.

Protecting your PIN

It's not just passwords where we need to be careful. To use a credit, debit or store card, you'll need the four-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) linked to that plastic card. There are 10,000 combinations of PINs, from 0000 to 9999.

Of course, if you enter the wrong PIN three times, then your card will be locked. This prevents a 'brute force' attack to find PINs, which involves checking all possible combinations.

Even so, PINs aren't as secure as you'd imagine. This is because millions of cardholders change their default PINs to numbers which they find easier to remember. Often, this weakens the security of their cards.

Let me give three examples of weak PINs:

1. In the late Nineties, my boss challenged me to guess his PIN. Knowing him to be a proud Scot, I suggested 1314 – the year of the Battle of Bannockburn. Right, first time.
2. In one of his books, controversial Scottish author Irvine Welsh describes a banking scam to rip off supporters of Glasgow Rangers FC. His crooks steal lots of credit cards and try 1690 as the PIN – the year of the Battle of the Boyne. They successfully steal a fortune.
3. Your year of birth. Possibly the worst PIN to choose, full stop. When I was at university, I found scores of students naively using their year of birth (or birthday as Day-Day-Month-Month) as PINs. If you do this, change your PINs today.

To create a safer PIN, choose a random four-digit number, or simply stick with the default PIN given to you by your bank. Otherwise, you may inadvertently be putting your credit card and current account at risk of fraud.

Loose lips lose money

About five years ago, my father gave me an old laptop. When I went to use it, I found it to be password-protected.

Thinking hard about my dad's life, I tried two passwords before getting it right third time. It was the name of the British Army cavalry regiment he joined way back in the late Sixties.

In short, the more you know about someone, the easier it is to guess their passwords.

That's one of many reasons why I don't belong to social-networking sites such as Facebook, and why my Twitter posts link only to my articles. The more information you post on Facebook, Twitter and the like, the more personal data you give to crooks, criminals and fraudsters.

(Modern-day 'digital villains' also use Facebook and Google Street View to find out when people are on holiday, before burgling their empty homes.)

The Wheel of Monadic Fire

10900583070?profile=original

This is not really a tool per say, although there are lots you will be able to do with this. This is about you consciously choosing to stand as the true master of self within your rightful state of being. This is you becoming the real you. It’s a preparation level and there are three initial aspects.

This will, open, purify, re-align & energise your being, taking what is out of date, un-needed, causing difficulties & blockages; everything you want to get rid of.  It also has a protective aspect and repairing aspect, especially for the aura.

You may feel: dizzy, disorientated, spinning, waves rushing around & through you or like you are being gently squeezed. You may hear of feel pops, rushing wind, heat and/or coolness. If you feel nothing, it is a good indication that you are not sufficiently grounded into your body. It’s a good idea to quickly ground before & after. Take lots of water with this too.

The colour of the MWF is Golden/White/Yellow, although there may be colour changes during use, as determined by your needs; but it will start this colour and end this colour, which gives us an extra indication of when the work is complete.

Methods of use:

  1. Request the ring to come. It will descend from your Monadic Self, down the charkra column 5 times, expanding through each of the immediate bodies, going into Mother Gia and returning to Source; taking with it all that should not be and all that you wish to be rid of.

Timing will differ for each of us, but a good guide is about a minute for each passing or 5mins in total. You have not done it wrong if it takes a little longer and you may receive information during it progression through your being. Please do not overuse, energy overuse drains you and causes internal conflict & friction.

      2. As above, but will purify all bodies at the same time. This can happen very fast indeed and is more about immediate need, such as protection in a lower energetic environment or self defence against energetic attack (seen & unseen). This can also happen without warning, but we must give permission for this to happen first. It can be very intense. The energy will download and explode out of you. It made me physically jump and I will blog this experience later today. It was truly immense.

You can state this permission in your own way, but here is an example:

“I give consent to access my being, on my behalf, in accordance with & in support of Divine Plan & Divine Outcome to my Monad, Spiritual Directors & Personal Assistance Teams and ask for The Monadic Wheel of Fire to be ignited within me during moments of immediate need.”

3, Ask a question which needs a Yes or No answer. Ask for the Wheel to descend with the answer. It will come down to your heart & then up to your third eye through the throat chakra. So, you will actually receive the answer three times. This is to cover all three kinds of learning, whether you are auditory, visual or kinaesthetic (feeling).

If you are unsure about the answer or do not get a direct Yes or No, you can ask again. But the chances are that there is more information you need in order to make the choice. Maybe you asked the wrong question; maybe it does not matter which choice is made; maybe there is an important lesson involved; maybe something has to happen first, such as an insight or an event; maybe it’s a choice that seems undesirable that you need to walk through (that your mind does not like), but will lead then to a wonderful opportunity. Relax, be open & go with the flow. This aspect can be used as often as you wish, wherever you wish.

The most important aspect of using this is just to relax, trust & be open to whatever happens. It is sent by the Monad, so you don't have to worry about anything, or even ask for this & that to be taken, but you can if you want to.

"Most are under the impression that our first desire for you is to ascend, this is not true. Are you surprised? When you were created, you were given three gifts; The Freedoms of Will, Choice & Expression. Our first desire is for you to just be, to experience all that life has to offer. In other words your path, your creation, your destiny is entirely within your own hands. This does not mean that we are not here for you, guiding, advising and encouraging you to come back to full consciousness of your true self. It simply means that you are your own master. All that has been created & given to you, is in support of your freedom to choose to re-join the One Soul, as you truly are – free of all contaminations of un-real love. Our first desire is to simply be able to communicate with you on a conscious level again, to commune within the sharing of our beingness. You do not need to ascend to begin to experience this communion (for you already have it), but one must choose to be within the higher energies of life, of love, to be conscious of it. This is what this empowerment was created for. Ascension takes effort & time, but it need not be as difficult as some are choosing it to be. Nor need it be so confusing or complicated. Ascension is but another choice and we desire to clarify that journey for each of you and make it more direct for all. You are ever loved"

The Monad.

This computer 'virus' scam will cost you big
lovemoney.com – Fri, Feb 8, 2013 15:52 GMT

My phone rings. It's a cheap internet call from India. But it's not a so-called “consumer survey”. Instead, it's “Alex Carter”. And he is serious – he works for an information technology support team.
He warns me my computer is full of harmful viruses and that the processor has “already almost stopped working.” Even worse, my “percentage error levels” have hit 85. And how does he know all this?
He's a “Microsoft Certified” engineer who has discovered these “facts” because he has scanned my machine via my wireless modem.
Knowing this to be a scam but pretending to be worried, I ask what to do. “I can provide free assistance. But I am a technician, not a magician so I don't know what my colleagues will offer.” As I had to catch a train, I told Alex to call back the next morning.
To my amazement, he did. He told me he worked for a firm called British IT Solutions which was the “only company in the UK helping Microsoft.” He was getting “very harmful internet reports” from my number. The computer was turned off.
“How do you know?” The reply came: “The computer is linked to the router, and the router is linked to the phone line.” This is, of course, a statement of fact and not an explanation.
“Some processors have already stopped working and the computer is sending signals to Microsoft Global Services of many errors,” he informed me.
I enquired how I could fix the problem as I knew “processor failures and viruses were very harmful”.
Assuring me that this was not a sales call, Alex told me to turn my computer on. I did not so I asked again about Microsoft. “The computer sends errors to Microsoft and it passes them on to us as we are part of a certified tech team. You don't need to pay a single penny and we'll show how to delete the errors, warnings, and other problems in my computer. It is my job to tell you about this.”

The lies get bigger

I then revealed that my computer does not run on Windows – it uses a variant of the Linux operating system called Ubuntu. He was confused for a second but not put off. Alex had been trained with a just about plausible, although false, line for those with Apple or other operating systems.

“Because you are running Linux, all internet companies are connected to the global server run by Microsoft which sends us error messages.”

Telling him my machine was working perfectly did not deter him either. “It may appear fine at the moment, but errors and warnings create a problem slowly, then come faster and when they multiply. After a few months your computer will crash and you will lose all your data.”

Scary stuff but a nasty cocktail of unmitigated rubbish and blatant lies.

I finally asked about the firm's website. He said it was part of RedHat.com.

Another outright and outrageous lie. Just as there is absolutely no link between this cold caller in India and Microsoft (whose website has a disclaimer), there is also no connection between the scam firm which phoned me and Red Hat, a US software support company which specialises in Linux applications. Red Hat, a US quoted company worth around $11billion, has told me that using its name in this way is not just confusing, it is criminal. There appears to be no trace of British IT Solutions.

What would have happened

Had I been a nervous person or a computer novice, it would have been all too easy to fall for this long running scam which has resurfaced after a quiet year or two. The perpetrators hope that the interval means we have forgotten the previous warnings.

And here's what would have happened. I would likely have been asked to download remote access software which would have allowed Alex's friends to control my machine from India. They would then have downloaded malware and then charged me up to £185 (plus £100 annual fee) to remove it.

Either way, it's big bucks for them and even if Alex only fooled one person a day, he will have earned his employers far more than he costs.

This call was simply computer garbage. The sooner these people are sent to prison the better – sadly vulnerable people fall for their nonsense every day.

What they don't tell you in the plane safety demo

By George Hobica | Airfarewatchdog – Thu, Jan 31, 2013

Have you ever wondered exactly why airlines dim the lights upon landing, making you grope to find the overhead light just as you were about to finish your Koduko? (Hint: It's not to save electricity.) Or why it's so important to put your own oxygen mask on before helping others? Or what's it like jumping onto a 737's inflatable emergency slide? And just how heavy are those over-wing exit doors?

If you're a bit of an airline nerd like me, then you might have been curious. Or maybe you're the cautious kind, the kind who wants to have every possible advantage the next time there's a "Miracle on the Hudson" or if a lithiumion battery catches fire and you have to deplane in a hurry.

Well, British Airways has just the thing: the BA Flight Safety Awareness Course, a modified version of the same training that flight crews go through after they're hired and then once a year thereafter. Even if you're not the pessimistic or overly cautious type, it's a fascinating way to spend a day in London.

You get to jump down an emergency slide! And if you’ve ever wanted to pull the inflation cord on one of those airplane life vests, this is your chance. You also get to evacuate a cabin filled with smoke (it's the kind used in a theater or rock concert, but it does the trick). You'll practice the fine points of the "brace position." And best of all, you understand why some of those more obscure procedures and safety warnings are part of the flight experience.

Check those life vests

One thing they don't tell you in the typical safety demo: people take those life jackets, located under or between your seat, as souvenirs. It’s a vile and punishable offense, and while airlines do check each seat at the start of every day, a plane could make several trips in a day, during any of which a passenger could steal a life vest.

Not that it may much matter anyway. Only a small fraction of the passengers on US Airways Flight 1549 bothered to grab their life vests when Captain Sullenberger ditched his Airbus A320 into the Hudson River.

Put yours on first

You’ve heard it over and over: put on your own oxygen mask before helping those around you. But the safety demos never tell you why that’s so important. The reason? You might only have 15 or 20 seconds in the event of a cabin decompression, during which all oxygen would be sucked out of the plane (and your lungs), before you’d experience confusion and a euphoric stoned state, at which point you might forget everything you heard during the safety demo (if in fact you even listened, which you probably didn't).

In 30 to 45 seconds you'd probably pass out. So it’s important to act quickly. (I think that if the standard safety announcement explained some of these fine points, people might put down their newspapers.) Andy and Diane, our instructors, also explained what else to expect during a sudden decompression: a burning smell from the oxygen canisters, severe vibration, a rapid descent (typically a drop of 20,000 feet in just 3 or 4 minutes), and an automated announcement telling you what to expect (because, obviously, the crew would have their own masks on and wouldn’t be able to communicate with passengers).

The proper brace position

Some of the finer points of flight safety may seem particularly arcane, but there's a reason for every detail. If you’ve ever bothered, for example, to look at the safety card in the seat back pocket, you may have noticed that the correct brace position is to put your hands on your head, but not in just any slipshod fashion (and definitely not with the fingers locked together). See how the illustration shows one hand over the other? Is that just arbitrary? No as it turns out. Should something fall on you during a crash landing, you want to protect at least one hand (preferably the one you write with) because you’ll need it to unbuckle your seat belt when it’s safe to do so. Your other hand is in that position to provide some protection to your "strong" hand, which will be doing the unbuckling.

Why not fly backward?

And speaking of the brace position, wouldn't it be unnecessary, I asked Andy and Diane, if airlines oriented their seats so that everyone was flying backwards? After all, in the event of a crash landing or controlled emergency landing, there would be no need to assume the brace position if the seats didn't face forward. Isn’t that why flight attendants face backward in their jump seats? People equate rear-facing seats with trains, Andy answered. "We'd be out of business in a week," said Diane.

And why not have three- or four-point harnesses rather than seatbelts, such as those worn by flight attendants, one of my classmates asked? Aren't they safer? You've probably guessed the answer: airlines recommend keeping your seatbelt fastened whenever seated, and no one would want to wear such an uncomfortable contraption during the flight.

"Touch drills" and "muscle memory"

While your pilots are waiting for takeoff, it may surprise you that they're probably doing a safety drill -- what if this or that should go wrong on takeoff, which buttons would we push or steps would we take? So they go through the motions of various procedures, touching and even moving the controls. They call these touch drills, and Andy and Diane suggest that passengers do the same thing just before takeoff, perhaps buckling and unbuckling their seat belts three times. Sounds daft? "It's muscle memory," said Diane. "In an emergency, people panic. They think they're in their cars, and try to release the seatbelt by pushing a button rather than lifting a flap."

Indeed, as the final report of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board noted following the crash of US Airways flight 405, which landed in the water after takeoff from New York's LaGuardia Airport, "Some passengers tried to move from their seats while their seatbelts were still buckled, and other passengers had difficulty locating and releasing their seatbelt buckles because of disorientation."

Why does red mean go?

And what’s with that escape path lighting along the floor? Why would red lights indicate an exit? Shouldn’t they be green (as in go) instead?

Like taillights along the motorway in a fog, Andy explained, they’re red because they show up better in a smoke-filled cabin. And indeed it's true, as we learned when our "cabin" became a soupy fog.

Those doors are heavy

What about those emergency over-wing exit doors? How heavy are they exactly, and how easy are they to open and toss? Well, we practiced on a Boeing 737. The answer? Even for me, a fairly strapping 6-footer who goes to the gym regularly, they’re pretty heavy (40 pounds to be exact). It’s not just the weight, but maneuvering them while sitting down that's an awkward challenge.

Tip: sit way back in your seat or you’ll hit yourself on the head when the door swings down. Another tip: use your knee to rest the door and then swing it out and throw it on the wing (don’t worry, you won’t be sued for damages). I was surprised that the actual latch mechanism is so easy to engage you can do it with one finger. Even though, according to our instructors, it’s been 27 years since an over-wing exit door has had to be opened on a British Airways plane (other than in this cavernous training hangar, that is), I still feel safer now that I've done it.

The bad news is that half the people (probably more) who I see sitting in those exit rows wouldn’t have the strength to manage the door. Airlines should not sell these seats to anyone merely because they can pay the fee for the extra legroom. But don’t worry if some nut tries to open the doors in flight. They’re impossible to open owing to air pressure being much higher inside the plane than outside.

Perhaps the most macabre little tidbit

Next time you get on a plane, take note of the handles by the door, just inside the plane. What on earth are those for? Well, in a panicked emergency evacuation, when the flight attendants are manning the exit door, passengers, in their mad rush to get off, have a tendency to push them out of the way, sometimes all the way down the slide. The handles are there to make sure that the flight attendants stay on the plane if that's what they need to do.

Why don't airlines tell us all this?

I left the course thinking that more passengers would listen to the pre-flight safety demo if airlines shared some of this insider information before each flight, maybe mixing it up from time to time so that the demo doesn't bore people. On one flight, the demo might include the finer points of opening the over-wing exits. On another flight, more information about why it’s so important to put your oxygen mask on first (and quickly) before helping others. More passengers would probably do what they're told in an emergency if they knew the reasons behind these rules (and time and time again, in emergencies, passengers do not listen, do the wrong thing, and become victims).

Speaking of the whys, just why do airlines dim the cabin lights during nighttime takeoffs and landings? You guessed it: to help adjust your eyes to the dark (either inside a smoke-filled cabin or on a darkened runway). And why do some airlines ask that you keep your shoes on (except high heels, which can tear the slide) when taking off and landing?

Because the runway might be burning hot after you jump down the slide. And while it's doubtful that airlines will ever add these extra details to their pre-flight safety drills, the main thing I left the course with was a better respect for the thought that has gone into airline safety over the years, as each crash and emergency landing contributes to collective knowledge. And I have even more respect for flight attendants who, as we all know, are primarily there for no other reason than our safety.

Here is God's promise: Life proceeds, it never recedes.

Life progresses, it never regresses. Not even death
ends anything, so how much can this particular event
matter?

It is true. When one door closes, another does open.

The movement of life is ever upward. Six months from
today you will know this. For now, trust it.

Do you think God does not know what She is doing?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you were created to create -- not to react.

Creation is the highest form of Divinity, and your
birthright. Truth is, you are creating all the time. The
central question in your life is whether you are
doing this consciously or unconsciously.

Conscious creation is what is needed now.

Stop moping.

And stop thinking negative thoughts. Just
get on with it! Tomorrow awaits your choice as to
how its going to be. Call the shots! Make it happen!

You're in charge here.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that trust is not necessary when you don't want or
need anything.

If you are wondering whether you can "trust" someone,
look closely at what it is you think you need or want
from them. When you need or want nothing, trust is
not an issue.

And, of course, there is nothing that you do need,
from anybody, given Who and What You Are. You
are an expression of Divinity Itself, and Divinity is
your Source.

Thinking that you "need" anything, given that this is so,
would be nothing more than a misunderstanding.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that life is a game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds
and words return to us sooner or later
with astounding accuracy.

Florence Scovel Shinn said that, and she was right. So
before you think, do, or say anything -- imagine what it
would be like to receive what you are sending.

Then, go one step further. Decide ahead of time what
you would like to receive...and then send it. Quite
deliberately. That is, give to, or cause in the life of,
another what you would like to now experience.

Then...watch the magic.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that nothing good is ever created by deception.
Not even the smallest untruth, not even the most
well-intended "white lie," will produce benefit in the
long run. So tell your truth as soon as you know it.

Yes, yes, I know...."But then...but then..." So you'll
have to decide which of the "But then's" you want.

There will always be a "But then." Yet shall it be one
you endure, or one you create?

If it's control you want, telling the truth puts you in
total control. Ever think of that?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that if you ask an impertinent question, you are on the
way to a pertinent answer.

Jacob Bronowski said that, and he was right. Therefore,
never be afraid to ask the question that it seems shouldn't
matter. Especially if it has to do with religion or God.

CwG says, "The question! The question! Always live
within the question!" It is when you think you have
all the answers that expansion ends, growth stops, and
your arrogance begins.

What question do you wish to humbly ask today?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that not everything has to turn out exactly the way you
planned in order for you to call it a success.

Sometimes all God wants you to do is to "get the ball
rolling." Then, She'll take it from there. So when things
turn out other than the way you wanted them to, don't
be so quick to say, "Bummer!"

Many a Bummer is a Blessing in disguise. Consider the
possibility that life is magic...and that there's a rabbit
in that hat.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that just when it looks like life is falling apart, it may
be falling together for the first time.

I have learned to trust the process of life, and not so
much the outcome. Destinations have not nearly as
much value as journeys.

So maybe you should let things fall apart at this
juncture if that's what's happening. Don't hang on so
tenaciously. The nice thing about things falling apart is
that you can pick up only the pieces that you want...
...and you know exactly why I told you this today...

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that if you're doing something for someone else's
approval, you may as well not do it at all.

There is only one reason to do anything: to announce
and declare, express and fulfill, become and
experience Who You Really Are.

Do what you do, therefore, for the sheer joy of it,
for sheer joy is who you are. Do what you choose,
not what someone else chooses for you.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that desire is a powerful force that can be used to
make things happen.

Marcia Weider said that, and she was right. Yet do
not confuse desire with expectation, or with need.

Desire has an entirely different quality to it. You can
desire something without needing or requiring it.

That little difference makes everything work. That
little difference is the whole trick. Desire, do not
Require. To desire propels. To require compels. Life
will not be compelled, but it can be coaxed...

Whoever or whatever you are trying to compel today,
stop it. Just...fall back into the soft cotton of desire.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that life has nothing to do with what you are doing,
and everything to do with what you are being.
Be careful not to get caught in the "doingness" of your
life. That is not what you are here for. You are a sacred
soul, and you came here to the earth to Be something.

And not just one thing, but many things.

The wonderful thing is, you get to choose what that is.

And you get to do that right now. Always Right Now.

So what do you choose to Be right now? Happy?

Content? Safe? Peace? Forgiving? Compassionate?

Love? Go ahead, choose. As many as you wish!

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the next step is the most important step. Take it
now. Do not wait.

Life is not going to come down there and sprinkle
glitter dust on your shoulders to let you know that you
are Good...or that you are walking the Right Path...or
that you are making the Best Decision.

Take the next step. Right now. Stop waiting for a "sign"
from the "gods." Your sign is your intuition, wrapped
in your desire.

Hesitation is not a stopping place on the road to heaven.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you are only one short step away from manifesting
what you need to reach your goal.

Do not stop now. Whatever you do, do not stop now.

Okay? Is that clear enough? Is that a clear enough sign?

You asked for a sign, didn't you?

So, is that clear enough?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the acknowledgment of your weakness is the first
step in repairing your loss.

Thomas Kempis said that, and he was right. Sometimes
this is the hardest thing for people to do. Yet self-truth
and truth with others about where you have fallen short
almost ensures that you will go a long way. Everyone can
see you anyway, why not admit what everyone is seeing?

You cannot let go of anything if you cannot notice that you
are holding it. Admit your 'weaknesses' and watch them
morph into your greatest strengths.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that everything is perfect Right Here, Right Now. And
Right Here Right Now is all there is.

Forget about the past. It does not exist, except in your
memory. Drop it. And stop worrying about how you're
going to get through tomorrow. Life is going on Right
Here, Right Now -- pay attention to that and
all will be well.

Embrace the present moment with gratefulness and
wonder, and you will turn it into whatever you have
been waiting for.

Love, Your Friend....

Practicing Acceptance

Which is harder: Accepting the situation you are in, or fighting it?

BY: Brandi-Ann Uyemura

I think one of the greatest obstacles we grapple with is learning how to accept what is instead of moaning and groaning about what we don’t have.
It’s like we’re sitting there one hand full of riches and the other hand open full of potential. But we don’t see it. Nope. We’re too focused on the fact that the other hand is empty and not filled yet.
“Why oh why is it not filled yet?,” we ask.
It causes us to transform back into our 2-year-old selves, throwing punches to the air, crying out for all the things we deserve to have, but don’t. Praying about how much we need it, how much better our lives would be with it. And there we are so focused on our poor, wounded souls that we neglect the jewels that fill us, surround us and already make us whole.
If you ever need to be reminded of that, check in with your nearest and dearest furry child. Notice how they seem utterly forgetful about all the mishaps you do. Analyze how a mere treat, a pet on the head or a cuddle could make them silly with joy. See how they seem to pass up the chance to moan about their loss sibling that you had to adopt them away from or the fact that they don’t have a mate, kids or even anyone that even slightly resembles them. They just move on.
Accepting your situation can feel hard. It can be like welcoming an uninvited guest or settling for less.
But it’s not.
Learning how to accept whatever you’re going through and wherever you are is a gift.
It’s about returning to a state of vulnerability in realizing you have less control over life than you think. And that is okay.
It’s about loosening your grip over the outcome and opening your heart up to possibility instead of forced intention.
It’s about seeing your life as a large red carpet unfolding in front of you instead of a predetermined path.
It’s about releasing the rigidity of adulthood that sometimes tricks us into believing we know everything.
It’s a lesson in gratitude for what you have instead of what you still haven’t received.
It’s a muscle being flexed to exercise resiliency.
It’s a reminder that the events of your life ebbs and flows like waves. No matter what you’re going through it will not always be this way.
More importantly, it’s about relinquishing the need to know what’s next. It’s about continuing to relax and release when we feel the need to grasp on harder. It’s about giving up our ego and just letting things be.
Acceptance isn’t easy.
But if we let go into the wave of difficulty rather than force our way through it, we will find the ride much easier. And almost always it will take our breath away.
Make sure to follow Brandi-Ann Uyemura's Happy Haven blog!

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that independence is your soul's natural state, and
Freedom is another name for God.

The Divine is that which is totally free, all the time.

Nothing constricts It, nothing limits It, nothing stops
It or prohibits It or denies It in any way.
You are exactly the same. Your soul is nothing
more than an Individuation of Divinity...and it is
absolutely nothing less. Act as if you are divinely
free today -- and watch your life change.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that disappointment is your thought that God doesn't
know what God is doing.

That, of couse, is impossible. So try to not be
disappointed in anything. Know that life is showing up
perfectly in every moment.

Today's disappointment could be tomorrow's springboard
to all that you've ever wanted. In fact, it probably is.

You will not have to think very hard to know exactly
why you received this message today...

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that without knowing who you are and why you are
here, life has no meaning.

Seek, then, to study the questions. Work to experience
the grandest answers. Who You Are is an Individuation
of Divinity. Why you are here is to demonstrate that.

Today is going to offer you a perfect chance to do that.

Watch. Listen. Before the end of this day,
you will have a chance to be Divine.

Indeed, someone is counting on you to.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the fastest way to learn something is to teach it.

Do not wait, therefore, until you "know all about it" or
have "mastered" what you wish to share before you
begin to share it.

The world needs more of what you wish to learn
more of. So teach. Share. Help others. And do not
worry so much about what you "don't know." Worry
about what you don't do. Because you are robbing us
while you are waiting to become an "expert."

You know exactly why you heard this today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that he who eats till he is sick, must fast till he is well.

That is a Hebrew proverb, and it has to do with a lot
more than food. Look to see what behaviors you are
indulging in over and over again that are clearly not
serving you. Then, go on a "bad habit diet."

I mean it. I'm not kidding, Pick one bad habit, one
bad behavior a day for five days. You can do this.

Stop doing the stuff you're doing that obviously
does not serve you--or others.

This friendly "nudge" came from your Self, you know...

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you have only just begun to discover your
magnificence.

This period of your life marks a New Beginning. You
can feel it. And you have only just begun to know the
treasure and the glory of You. And you have only just
begun to make your Real and Lasting Contribution.

So step into this day with zest and zeal! Go now and
give your gift. We're all waiting for you. And we need
the wonder of Who You Are.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that no effort is ever wasted, although some pay
dividends later than you think.

Do not imagine that you "wasted your time" because
something didn't turn out right. There is no such thing
as "waste" in the Universe. Everything -- everything --
yields benefit.

It's true. And your life will show you this. So don't
decry the "effort that failed." All things lead to your
highest good. You just may not know it yet.
You know even now why you just read this...

Love, Your Friend

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that there are no guarantees in life...except that all
things happen for God's best reason.

If you need to know in advance that everything will
"work out" before you jump in, you'll never jump into
anything.

Yet "jumping in" is life's greatest excitement, its grandest
adventure. Don't deny yourself that. Just go for it. Trust
that Life will bring you benefit no matter what happens.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that imagination is your greatest gift. Do not be afraid
to use it.
Imagine yourself as being okay right now. Totally okay.

Imagine yourself as Whole, Complete, and Perfect. With
nothing to change, nothing to "improve."

Imagine your heart as being open again, your life as if it
were starting over in the most important ways.

Can you imagine this?

Then you have just created Tomorrow.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that fear is one of the main sources of cruelty. To
conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.

Bertrand Russell said that, and he was right.

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross said, "Fear and guilt are the only
enemies of man." She was right, too.

And Franklin Roosevelt famously said,
"We have nothing to fear but fear
itself."

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that life is about your soul, not about your body and
not about your mind.

Most people work hard to keep the body happy. Then
they seek to stimulate their mind. Then...if there is time...
they look after their soul. Yet the most beneficial priority
has it just the other way around.

When was the last time you paid attention to your soul?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that earthly possessions are not what you came here
to gather.

Do not worry about your earthly possessions. Place
your attention on your heavenly goal--the evolution of
your soul--and you will find peace even while on earth.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the events of this very day will move you closer
to God.

That is what they were designed to do, and you will
experience them doing just that if you will allow
yourself to.

It is all a matter of opening your eyes to what is really
happening (as opposed to what it looks like is
happening). Judge not by outward appearances.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that your security is guaranteed through the sharing
of your love.

The peace and safety for which you yearn is not a
matter of food, clothing, and shelter. It is a matter of
love. Love and be loved, and all else will be added
unto you.

The world will perform its magic when you step into
yours. That is the promise of God, and it will be kept.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that life will resolve itself in the process of life itself.

Let the moment play itself out. Try to not push the river.

Life knows what It has in mind. Trust Life.

It is on your side.

Do you know how I know? You are still here.

How much more proof do you need?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you can be happy right here, not tomorrow, not
in ten minutes, but now. You can be happy right now.

Byron Katie said that, and she is right. Happiness is
allowing yourself to be okay with what is, rather than
wishing for, and bemoaning, what is not.
Obviously, what is is what is supposed to be, or it
would not be. The rest is just you, arguing with life.

Somewhere along the way you will have to learn to
just Trust Life. (Read that, "Trust God.")

Why not start today?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that rushing around to fix everything, or to "get ready,"
is not going to do you more good.

Move resolutely, but don't rush. There's a difference.

Rushing removes resolution, often replacing it with
panic or irrationality or, at best,
not well thought-out choices.

So keep moving. Don't stop. But don't rush. Don't
race around. Sure and steady gets you there
every time.

You know exactly why you received this message.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that it is better to do now what you will have to do
eventually.

You know, right now, what you will have to do
eventually. Your stomach is telling you right now.

You just don't want to have to listen to it; don't
want to believe it.

Believe it. The tummy knows. How many times in
your life must you prove this to yourself?

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that every day--nay, every moment--
you will have a chance to be Right or
to be Love.

Your choice will define who you are.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that any frustration you have is simply the result of
wrong thinking.

If you were thinking rightly you could not possibly
imagine that anything was going 'wrong.' You would
know that nothing in the Universe is working against
you. By definition, given Who You Are,
this is impossible.

Move, then, to gratitude when you encounter your
frustrations. And see every event as an Opportunity.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that betrayal of yourself in order not to betray another
is betrayal nonetheless. It is the Highest Betrayal.

You are not avoiding betrayal by betraying yourself, you
are merely choosing whom to betray. In fact, there is no
such thing as "betrayal." There is only the truth,
finally spoken.

That is not betrayal at all. That is love.

For another, and for yourself.

Can you love that much?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you will benefit enormously if you simply strive to
be a good person. Strive to live rightly.

This will not always be easy. It will require real work,
real dedication, real commitment to the Journey of Your
Soul. Yet in the end, I trust in God that it will be so very
worth it, for the reward is Self Realization.

To know the Self as Who You Really Are is the goal
and the opportunity of each lifetime. To expand your
definition of that is the invitation.

I admire and deeply respect and salute you.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that Freedom is Who You Are.

'Freedom' is but another word for 'God.' It has been
difficult to find words in human language to describe
That Which God Is, but 'Freedom' is one of them.

Another word to describe God is...You.

You and God are One. Therefore you, too, are Free.

Free to make choices, free to select your reactions
and responses to life, free to be your authentic Self.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that true ambition is not what you thought it was.

Bill, the man who co-founded Alcoholics Anonymous,
said that, and he was right. "True ambition," he said, "is
the profound desire to live usefully and walk humbly
under the grace of God."

What is your ambition for today? What is on the top
of your priority list? What are you hoping to do today?

What are you hoping to be?

Your answer to this question will create not just the
day, but you.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that love tolerates human foibles, faults, and failings.

When someone does something you don't like, try
toleration. Tell them in your nicest way that you do
not feel good about what occurred or what was said,
but try hard not to cold-shoulder them, and block
them out of any warm connection with you.

All you teach them by that is to be afraid of you -- by
making them afraid of losing you...or at least the warmth
of their connection with you. This is, of course, what
some people say God does to us...

Give people the same break you would like God (and
other people, for that matter) to give you.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that most dramatic conflicts are perhaps those
that take place not between men, but between a man
and himself.

Author Mark Moustakas said that, and he was right.

If we can win the struggle within -- the struggle that
Muslims call jihad -- we can win this human race.

What are you battling with right now? What unwanted
habit? What undesireable behavior? What old pattern?

Claim victory over these, and your entire life can change.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the word salvation in the Bible means perfect
health, harmony, and freedom.

Emmet Fox said that, and he was right. These things
are the will of God for man, he said,
and he was right again.

When you ponder how to achieve your 'salvation,'
make sure you understand, first, what 'salvation' is.

We are seeking here to save ourselves from our own
misunderstandings about Life and How It Is, and
about Who We Really Are.

Move into the fullness of your True Identity, and
watch your whole life change.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that being "right" has nothing to do with it.

The idea that you call "right" is the idea that someone
else calls "wrong." The solution that you call "perfect"
is the solution that another calls "unworkable." The
position that you feel is unassailable is the very
position that others assail.

What will solve all of this? Not attack, that's for sure.

And not defense, either. So what is left? Simple human
love. The kind of love that says, "It doesn't matter who
is right or wrong. It only matters that you are not hurt.

And that we both can benefit. All true benefits are mutual."

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you can only succeed, you cannot fail.

Failure is impossible; it is an illusion. Nothing is a
failure. Nothing. Everything moves the human story,
and hence the process of evolution, forward.

Everything advances you on your journey.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that a hunch is angel talk, and
probably should not be ignored.

Listen to your hunches, pay attention to your intuition,
do not dismiss your random thoughts, inspirations or
ideas. Heaven talks in snippets, not in speeches. Angels
whisper fast. They have to when they're flying around...
Honor your Hints from Heaven.

They could be giving you the best advice
you ever had.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that nothing is ever solved, or created, by standing still.

Movement is the process of the Universe. So move.

Do something. Anything. But do not stand still.

Do not remain"on the horns of a dilemma." Do not fence sit.

Put your foot down on one side or the other,
swing the opposite leg over and start walking.

You'll know before you take ten steps if
you're going in the right direction.

Not to decide is to decide.

Try to not make choices by default.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that "Why is this happening?" is the most useless
question in the Universe.

The only really profitable question is, "What?" As in,
"What do I choose now?" This question empowers.

The "why" question simply perplexes, and rarely
satisfies even when it gets a good answer.

So don't try to "figure it out." Stop it. Just focus on
what you now wish to create. Keep moving forward.

There's nothing behind you that can possibly serve
you better than your highest thoughts about tomorrow.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that everything you have been thinking lately is to be
thrown out.

You're spending too much time "in your head" these
days. How about getting out of your thoughts and into
your feelings? You've analyzed it to death. Now it's
about moving from your head to your heart.

What are you feeling about all this? That is what really
matters. You are using your thoughts to try to parse
your feelings. You may want to stop that.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that it is never safe to look into the future with eyes
of fear.

Edward H. Harriman said that, and he was right. Nothing
is fearful lest thinking make it so. I can honestly say that
probably 95% of the things I was afraid of, it turned out
I had no reason to be.

And even if the thing you fear happens...so what? Again,
95% of the time your world is not going to fall apart, your
life will not be in danger. So drop fear by the wayside.

Just... let it go. Then make way for a surprising tomorrow.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the tiniest gesture -- a smile, a gentle look, a simple
pat on the arm, a soft word -- can change a person's life.

Before this very day is out, you are going to have a chance
to live in that possibility. Look. Watch.

See what this day brings you. And be ready.

If you believe I am exaggerating about this, please know
that I am not. Someone is waiting for that smile, that look,
that gesture from you right now.

Why do you suppose you just read this? Do you think this is
a coincidence?

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that miracles do not, in fact, break the laws of nature.
C.S. Lewis said that, and it is an enormous insight. If
we think that miracles are normal, we will expect them.

And expecting a miracle is the surest way to get one.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that what you found was meant for you to keep.

You know exactly what this means, so stop trying to
figure it out. This was not brought to you so that you
could throw it away. Or ignore it. Or pretend it is
not there.

Look at it. Grab it and look right at it. Hold onto it.

There is more there, much more, than you think.

You know exactly why you received this message
today.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that when you pray for anyone, you tend to modify
your personal attitude toward them.

Norman Vincent Peale said that, and he touched on
something truly profound. If someone is vexing you
right now, say a prayer for that person. Send them all
of your best energies.

Nothing changes the environment like one person
deciding to love another, no matter what.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that there is no such thing as a "bad omen," so you
don't have to avoid black cats today.

Or ladders. Or cracks in the sidewalk. Friday the 13th
can be the Best Day of Your Life So Far. And it will
be if you choose to see everything in your life today
as a miracle.

That includes the growing of the grass, the passing of
a cloud, the smile on another's face...and the beating
of your own heart.

Live the miracle that is Life today, and do not worry
about "bad omens." Remember, nothing is evil, lest
thinking make it so. (Wm. Shakespeare)

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you are perfect just the way you are.

Yes, yes, I know...you and I have lots of the same
judgments about ourselves. But you know what?
God holds none of these judgments.

If you saw yourself as God sees you, you would smile
a lot.

So smile. And go forth now into your day, sharing the
wonder of Who You Are and who you now choose to
be. For we are blessed in you.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that there is no 'right way' to do anything, there is only
the way you are doing it.

Never be afraid to "try your hand" because you don't
want to might make a mistake or not do something
"right." Success in life comes from being willing to move
into Uncharted Territory.

Always remember: Life begins at the end of your
Comfort Zone.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that morning comes every day; the sunrise does not
fail, nor the sunset.

Give it time. That is all that may be required. Just give
it time. Do not try to push the river. The cycles of life
present themselves, play themselves out, and make
smooth every passage and terrain.

Try not to get caught up in your story of the moment.
Look, rather, to the Long Story. Therein will be
found your peace. The cycles will redeem this
moment, if you let them, and even this shall pass.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that Life is conspiring in your favor.
It may not always look that way, but it is, I assure you.

Everything that is happening, is happening just the way
it must, in order for you to have the opportunity to
create the experience of your Self for which you yearn.

The idea behind all of this is to give you a chance to
become and to know, at the highest level, Who You
Really Are. This is God Work we are up to, you and I.
So keep on.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that your kindness has been observed -- and, more
than observed, deeply appreciated -- by another.

Sometimes it may feel as if we go through life and
nobody notices any of the "good" things we do, only
the "bad." It may seem that way, but this is not true.

Why, this very moment someone thought of you,
and of a kindness you have done.

Your soul may have even tingled a little just now.

(It does that when it receives good energy.)
So keep sending out those kindnesses, my friend.
You are becoming known for them...

Love, Your Friend....

**********

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you are innocent. You are blameless. You are
without foible or fault of any kind.

I know you do not believe this about yourself, but do
you believe this of the three-year-old beautiful child?

And what makes you think that you are anything less
in the eyes of God?

Love, Your Friend....

**********

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that there's more where that came from.

This is a key teaching; a most important message. The
goodness of the Universe is not limited. When something
"looks as if" it is running out, do not fret. This, or
something better, is on its way.

Sufficiency is the natural order of things. Good never
runs out -- although it may change form.

Did you get that last part?

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that it is not necessary to "prove yourself" to anyone.

Do your best. That's all you can ask of yourself. If you
did your best and things just didn't work out, you don't
owe an apology to anyone. And you certainly don't
need to feel 'bad' about it -- or, worse yet, guilty.

Stop beating yourself up. What happened is what
happened. You're not the 'villain' here, I promise.

It's just what happened. And there is a Soul Reason,
I promise you.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you must be willing to lose it all before you can
have it all.

What does this mean? It means that until you can let
go of everything, you will find it hard to hold onto
anything.

Detachment is the key. If you are so attached to
something that you are deeply unhappy without it,
then you are not simply attached, you are addicted.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that everything you see, hear, touch, taste, smell, or
sense in any way is an aspect of Divinity.

It is when you judge it to be something else that it shows
up as something else in your life. Therefore, judge not,
and neither condemn.

For that which you judge, judges you; and that which
you condemn will condemn you. Yet that which you see
for what it really is will see you for what you really are.

And therein will be found your peace.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that there is only one way to go, and that's up.

I know that it is possible for life to look, sometimes, as
if it's going downhill, as if everything is falling apart. But
consider this: When life is 'falling apart' things could
actually be falling together...maybe for the first time.
Try to not see things that are not there -- and do not fail to
see things that are...

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that the supernatural is the natural not yet understood.

Elbert Hubbard said that, and he was right. William
Shakespeare put it another way: There are more things
in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in
your philosophy.

All of which is to say, do not be too surprised by the
inexplicable. And if you've been wondering whether
you can trust this thing called God--the answer is yes.

Hey, you asked for a sign and here it is--literally out
of the blue. So smile. Okay?

Love, Your Friend....

**********

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that love is sometimes shown in the things you don't
say, don't keep track of, and don't notice.

The greatest kindness is often shown in letting things go.

None of us is perfect, but we can all be perfect friends
and perfect parters by allowing those that we love to
be imperfect.

Give those around you the "break" that you hope the
world will give you on your own "bad day" and you'll
never, ever regret it.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you are valued more than you know, by more
people than you think.

It might be good to get in touch today with your true
worth. It is much higher than you often give it credit
for being -- and now is a perfect time to know, and
to gently assert, that fact.

This is not about arrogance and it is not about over
confidence. It is about a simple, dignified Knowing.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that you've got to have a dream if you want to have
a dream come true.

Denis Waitley said that, and he was right. So specify
your dream; clarify and quantify your vision. Do not
aim for a target that you cannot see.

And don't you dare reduce your dream to its smallest
component. Enlarge it to its biggest. You can have that.
You can.

Love, Your Friend....

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that not to decide is to decide.
Letting something go until it "decides itself" is Life
by Default. You don't want to live that way.

So choose. Choose right now.

Stop worrying about what you can "lose" or how you
can "win" and just follow your joy.

Where does your joy say you should go?

Love, Your Friend....

**********

On this day of your life I believe God wants you to know...
...that impatience will get you nowhere, fast.

If you insist on being in a hurry, you'll move very
quickly -- and often get nowhere. Take a breath.

Relax. Find your peace.

Don't require the Universe to move more rapidly
than it is. It is actually working perfectly, and it
will prove that to you if you will give it a chance.

Really. Trust me on this.

Love, Your Friend....

**********

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...
...that thinking the highest thought is the safest mental
exercise.

Do not be tempted to think the smallest thought or to
lower your expectations so that anything above that
will be considered a "win" for you. You will have
already lost...

Your safety will not be found in working hard to avoid
disappointment, but in hardly working to produce more
and more life. Aim high. Ride easy. Trust God.
