Beautiful Photos of the Day: Frost Flowers
I love to explore the beauty of nature and I am always on the hunt for interesting images from nature to share with my husband Nazim who is a painter. In my quest for just such imagery, I came across some photos in an article entitled “Suddenly There’s a Meadow in the Ocean with ‘Flowers’ Everywhere,” by Robert Krulwich and there I found some absolutely wondrous images that I simply had to share!
Krulwich describes the scenario that led to the capturing of the images which took place when a grad student named Jeff Bowman was on the deck of a ship with a University of Washington biology team on their way back from the North Pole. Apparently it was bitter cold and as the dawn broke, this young man could see what appeared to be little crystal flowery things, growing on the frozen sea.
Out of no where some delicate, flower like snowflakes forms, appeared as if they were growing like flowers in the dry, cold air “like a meadow spreading off in all directions.”
Apparently every available surface seemed to be covered with them. He asked people in his group what they were. And the answer he received was “Frost Flowers!”
They aren’t really flowers but are more like ice sculptures that grow on the border between the sea and air.
Krulwich reported:
On Sept. 2, 2009, the day Jeff’s colleague Matthias Wietz took these pictures, the air was extremely cold and extremely dry, colder than the ocean surface. When the air gets that different from the sea, the dryness pulls moisture off little bumps in the ice, bits of ice vaporize, the air gets humid — but only for a while. The cold makes water vapor heavy. The air wants to release that excess weight, so crystal by crystal, air turns back into ice, creating delicate, feathery tendrils that reach sometimes two, three inches high, like giant snowflakes. The sea, literally, blossoms.
Krulwich continued:
Jeff’s professor believed that as the poles warm, there will be more and more of these meadows, because there will be more and more open sea that turns to thin ice in winter.
But as beautiful as they are, scientists prize frost flowers because they are so salty. These blossoms suck up seawater, concentrate the salt and have three times the salinity of the ocean. You could think of them as beautiful pickles.
Krulwich added, “If you take a frozen flower and let it melt,” and that’s what Jeff and his colleagues did …
… what you get is about “one to two millilitres of water.” That’s simply very salty little puddles.
And yet, he said, “when he and his colleagues checked, they found each frost flower housed about a million creatures. ‘That’s 10 to the sixth! A million bacteria.”
Did that surprise you? Krulwich asked Jeff:
Aren’t bacteria everywhere? “No,” he said, “not when the environment is so extremely salty, not when these bacteria are sitting on the icy surface exposed to ferociously cold air, much colder than they’re used to in the sea, and not when they are bathed in sunshine, which they don’t see that often and shouldn’t like.”
Apparently these amazingly adaptable bacteria are happy in their salty, sunny, freezing environment, doing their thing — well, that’s the next question: What are they doing?
Professor Deming and her team are eager to figure that out.
Could they be ingesting something? Exhaling something? If these frost flower meadows are going to spread, that might be interesting to find out.
I found the imagery fascinating and I am happy to be warm and dry and enjoying learning about this phenomena from my comfy desk chair.

Which made you vulnerable when those differences you identified yourself with were in turn attacked
You repeat the same cycles of negative behaviour because you let circumstance dictate your mood
If only you were able to realise there is no good or bad, only perception
You let the past dictate your present and worry about the future
Even though the past and future do not exist, you only ever have the present
Living in the moment is all you can ever do
National pride was instilled in you at the expense of distancing you from the rest of the world
You only limit that which you label and ascribe terms to. The truth cannot be so easily forced into a box
Is it any wonder you feel confused and directionless?

Extra Weight
If we make food choices from a place of love and awareness we will nurture ourselves with the foods our body really needs.
Our bodies are like living temples, and deserve all the love and care we can give them. Amazingly flexible and strong, they allow us to experience the world. If we notice that we’re not feeling our best, that we’ve put on extra weight, or that our favorite clothes don’t fit, we can make the choice to be good to ourselves in a new way today.
There are times we become conscious of a deeper hunger that will not be satisfied physically. We can make a new, healthier choice for ourselves in any moment, regardless of the hour, day, week or month. And when we make the choice lovingly, we work from a creative place of improving our lives and nurturing the best within us, so there is no need to punish ourselves. From this place, we can be gently honest with ourselves about the reasons we want to eat certain foods. We can reach out to doctors to help us determine if our bodies are out of balance at a level that requires something other than basic nutrients. We can also reach out to our friends for support and to share the journey of health, which is just another part of our adventure on the physical plane.
When we treat ourselves and our bodies as we would a trusted and loyal companion, we keep our energy free from negative thoughts that would complicate our journey. Our bodies are not our enemies, and we are not fighting a battle. Instead, we are investing our love and attention into the care and support of a beautiful creation—our selves.

Accepting Our Calling
Worthiness
When we accept our divinity we no longer question whether we are worthy because we know that we here for a purpose.
The issue of worthiness may come up in many areas of our lives, as we ask, often unconsciously, whether we are worthy of success, love, happiness, and countless other things, from supportive relationships to a beautiful home. In the end, though, it all comes down to one thing: our willingness to claim our space in this life as humans on this planet at this time. When we accept our divinity, we no longer question whether we are worthy, because we know that we are meant to be here to fulfill a particular purpose, a purpose that no one other than us can fulfill.
There are no replacements who can take over and live our lives for us, no other person who has had the experiences we have had, who has access to the same resources and relationships, who carries the same message to share with the world. Our purpose may be large or small, and in most cases it is multi-leveled, with important actions taking place on the interpersonal level, as well as in terms of the work we do in the world. Small acts of kindness share the stage with large acts of sacrifice, and only through accepting and honoring our divinity can we know what we are called to do and when.
Ultimately, we are all equally, exactly, completely worthy of being here in this life. Moreover, we are all essential to the unfolding plan of which we are each one small, but important, part. If we suffer from low self worth, it is because we have lost track of understanding this truth, and allowing it to guide our actions in the world. Seeing ourselves as part of something larger, as beings called to serve, is the ultimate cure for feelings of unworthiness. In the end, it’s not about evaluating ourselves as worthy or unworthy, so much as it’s about accepting that we have been called here to serve and taking the steps required to listen and respond to what our lives are asking us to do.

The Secret of Surrender
True lasting success comes only with surrender, which is the opposite of control.
Most of us were raised and live in a culture that emphasizes the ideals of independence and control. The general idea is that we are on our own and we don’t need any help from anyone else, and if we are really successful it’s because we are in complete control. However, true lasting success comes only with surrender, which is the opposite of control. We cannot accomplish anything truly great on our own, without any help, and the idea that we can is an illusion that causes most of us a great deal of suffering. Surrender comes when we see that illusion and let go of trying to attain the impossible. Surrender can then be seen as a great strength rather than a weakness.
Even small moments of surrender are powerful indicators of how different our lives could be if we would only let go. We’ve all had the experience of extending huge amounts of effort and energy to reach a particular goal only to realize that we can’t make it happen after all. At the moment of letting go, realizing that we need to ask for help or simply release our agenda entirely, a profound feeling of relief may rush over us. This warm, open sensation is the essence of surrender, and if we didn’t feel that we didn’t really let go. But it is never too late to let go, even of things in the past that didn’t work out the way we wanted them to, because surrender is always an option in every moment of our lives.
When we finally do surrender, our goals actually become possible, because the act of surrender is, in essence, asking for the help we need. This help may come in the form of other human beings or unseen helpers such as angels or inner guides. It may also come in the form of shifting circumstances, the small miracles that we call grace.

Knowing Our Heart’s Desire
Feeling Jealous
When we examine jealousy of another, we can use this feeling to help us determine what we really want for ourselves.
Jealousy is one of the toughest feelings we come up against in our lives. There is not much worse than this aching sense that somehow life has been unfair to us, while amply rewarding someone else. It’s even worse if that someone else is present in our daily lives, making it difficult for us to get the space we need to feel and heal our pain. We may be jealous of a sibling, a dear friend, or even famous personalities. We may even face the challenge of feeling jealous of our spouse, our child, or one of our parents. Whatever the case, we can normalize our experience by understanding that, as painful as it is, jealousy is a common human feeling.
Nevertheless, it is important that we not revel in our jealousy for too long, feeding it with inner talk or gossip with others. If we do, we run the risk of losing ourselves to its negative power. Jealousy has something good to offer us, though, and that is information about our own heart’s desire. When we are jealous of certain people, we want what they have, and if we are to be conscious, we must acknowledge that. In this way, we discover what we want for ourselves, which is the first step to getting it. It may be a certain kind of relationship or a career. Whatever it is, it is possible that we could create it for ourselves, in our own lives, if we are able to honor our own desires.
Of course, there are times when we cannot heal our jealousy in this way, and then the lesson may be about acceptance and the understanding that our path is different from the paths of those around us. It may be hard to see now, but perhaps it will eventually be clear why our life has taken its particular path. In the end, the best cure for jealousy is the recognition that the life we have is full of its own meaning and beauty, utterly unique to us—a gift that could never be found in the life of another.

Taking the Risk
Permission to Be Real
People who keep it real present themselves as they truly are, the good parts and the parts most of us would rather hide.
Most of us are familiar with the idea of keeping it real and have an intuitive sense about what that means. People who keep it real don’t hide behind a mask to keep themselves safe from their fear of how they might be perceived. They don’t present a false self in order to appear more perfect, more powerful, or more independent. People who keep it real present themselves as they truly are, the good parts and the parts most of us would rather hide, sharing their full selves with the people who are lucky enough to know them.
Being real in this way is not an easy thing to do as we live in a culture that often shows us images of physical and material perfection. As a result, we all want to look younger, thinner, wealthier, and more successful. We are rewarded externally when we succeed at this masquerade, but people who are real remind us that, internally, we suffer. Whenever we feel that who we are is not enough and that we need to be bigger, better, or more exciting, we send a message to ourselves that we are not enough. Meanwhile, people who are not trying to be something more than they are walk into a room and bring a feeling of ease, humor, and warmth with them. They acknowledge their wrinkles and laugh at their personal eccentricities without putting themselves down.
People like this inspire us to let go of our own defenses and relax for a moment in the truth of who we really are. In their presence, we feel safe enough to take off our masks and experience the freedom of not hiding behind a barrier. Those of us who were lucky enough to have a parent who was able to keep it real may find it easier to be that way ourselves. The rest of us may have to work a little harder to let go of our pretenses and share the beauty and humor of our real selves. Our reward for taking such a risk is that as we do, we will attract and inspire others, giving them the permission to be real too.

Staying in Pain
Pain comes and goes- it is when we get stuck in our pain that it becomes detrimental to our well-being and development.
Pain comes and it goes. It is just one component to the grand cycle of life. And when experienced as such, pain can serve as an important teacher. It is when we get stuck in our pain that it becomes detrimental to our well-being and development. If you notice that you feel closed-off, resentful, heavy-hearted, or that you try very hard to avoid being hurt again, there may be a part of you that is still stuck in pain.
We can get stuck in our pain for many reasons. As children, it was natural for us to cry, throw a tantrum, and let the experience move through us. By fully feeling our pain in this way, our emotions would wash us clean, leaving us open and available to new experiences. With age, though, we might have determined that expressing emotion was no longer appropriate, and so we developed a variety of coping strategies to deal with our discomfort. We may have learned to stuff our feelings down or to run away from them. Perhaps we began thinking that staying closed and unwilling to try new things would keep us safe from heartbreak, safe from rejection, and safe from failure. We may have even gotten so used to being in pain that the thought of being without it scares us. But, if we continue to hold onto it longer than necessary, we are expending a lot of energy that could instead be channeled into making our life experiences more positive.
If you notice that you are continually connecting with the same familiar patterns of pain, consider embracing your feelings and letting go of your hurt. Whether your pain is from childhood or from an experience last week, see if you can give it room to move. When it does, you will reconnect with a wonderful source of your own vital energy.

Not Everybody Will Like You
When someone doesn’t like you, rather than taking it personally we can release the need for approval and move on.
It is not necessarily a pleasant experience, but there will be times in our lives when we come across people who do not like us. As we know, like attracts like, so usually when they don’t like us it is because they are not like us. Rather than taking it personally, we can let them be who they are, accepting that each of us is allowed to have different perspectives and opinions. When we give others that freedom, we claim it for ourselves as well, releasing ourselves from the need for their approval so we can devote our energy toward more rewarding pursuits.
While approval from others is a nice feeling, when we come to depend on it we may lose our way on our own path. There are those who will not like us no matter what we do, but that doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with us. Each of us has our own filters built from our experiences over time. They may see in us something that is merely a projection of their understanding, but we have no control over the interpretations of others. The best we can do is to hope that the role we play in the script of their lives is helpful to them, and follow our own inner guidance with integrity.
As we reap the benefits of walking our perfect paths, we grow to appreciate the feeling of fully being ourselves. The need to have everyone like us will be replaced by the exhilaration of discovering that we are attracting like-minded individuals into our lives—people who like us because they understand and appreciate the truth of who we are. We free ourselves from trying to twist into shapes that will fit the spaces provided by others’ limited understanding and gain a new sense of freedom, allowing us to expand into becoming exactly who we’re meant to be. And in doing what we know to be right for us, we show others that they can do it too. Cocreating our lives with the universe and its energy of pure potential, we transcend limitations and empower ourselves to shine our unique light, fully and freely.

Disarming the Know-It-All
A person that is a know-it-all is usually afraid of listening because it has become completely unfamiliar to listen.
Most of us have encountered a person in our lives who can accurately be referred to as a know-it-all. This person seems to know everything about anything that gets brought up and tends to dominate the conversation. They don’t take well to being questioned, and they have a hard time ever admitting that they were wrong.
Being around a know-it-all is inevitably tiring because there is no shared energy between the two of you. Rather, you become an audience member to this person’s need to be the center of attention. Attention and respect are probably the two things this person most longs for, and at some point in their lives, they learned that knowing it all was the way to get those needs met. Over time, they have become stuck in this pattern, regardless of the fact that it is no longer working. They may feel afraid of the experience of listening, being receptive, or learning something new, because it’s so unfamiliar.
On the one hand, when we see the childlike need underneath the know-it-all’s mask of confidence, we feel compassion for the person, and we may tolerate their one-sided approach to conversation out of a desire not to hurt their feelings. On the other hand, we may be feeling drained and tempted to avoid this person altogether. In the middle of these two possible ways of feeling, we may actually like this person and wish for a closer relationship. If we come from a place of kindness, we might attempt to bridge the gap that this person’s habitual way of relating creates. Simply expressing a desire to be closer may open their heart, and give you a chance to ask for what you need in the relationship—a chance to contribute.

A Legacy of Love
Leaving the Earth a Better Place
From our first breath here to our very last, we will find infinite opportunities to influence our environment for the better.
We inherit this great planet from our parents and from the generations that came before. Then, in concert with the surrounding culture, our elders teach us how to care for the land and the sea, ourselves and each other. They model ways of being in relationship with every other expression of life on earth. But whether they act with care or carelessness, compassion or cruelty, generosity or greed, we have the ability to choose our own individual way of relating with the planet and her inhabitants. From our first breath here to our very last, we will find infinite opportunities to influence our environment for the better. We can decide now to act with intention in order to leave this amazing planet brighter and more beautiful than when we arrived.
If we enjoy environmental activism, we might feel moved to clean up beaches or to plant trees. But, we need not feel limited in our ability to contribute positively. There are many ways to leave a legacy of love. We might begin by radiating affirmative thoughts and feelings about how magnificent the earth truly is. We might create and tend a special garden, one that provides an abundance of food and herbs for ourselves and our loved ones. Or we might create a garden filled with sweet smelling flowers to uplift our hearts. We might even honor the earth simply by trying to be the best person we can be while we are here. Such good will can have a domino effect, inspiring others to contribute in their own way as well.
We spend our lifetimes being nourished and enlivened by the rain, sun, soil and wind. Our experience is blessed by other living beings, from plants to insects to birds and humans. We receive so much; giving back just naturally feels good. When we live our lives with intention of leaving this temporary home a better place for generations to come, we are perhaps leaving behind the best gift of all.

A Matter of Significance
Recognizing Your Value
Sometimes we can feel as if we don’t matter in the world, but we all have something to offer.
It can be easy sometimes to buy into the illusion of our own insignificance. We may see large corporations or institutions, celebrities or successful people in our community, and compare ourselves to them, thinking that their fame or material power affirm how little our own lives amount to. But nothing could be further from the truth. Every single one of us matters—tremendously. Our very existence affects countless people in countless ways. And because we are each essentially a microcosm of the larger universe, our internal experiences affect the whole of life more than we could ever imagine. The world simply could not exist as it does now if you, or any one of us, were not in it.
Perhaps you are aware that on some level you believe your life does not matter. If this thought resonates within you, maybe it is time to explore why you feel this way. You may have formed self-rejecting or belittling beliefs as a child to keep yourself safe or to help you make sense of confusing situations. You may have felt unseen or unheard and decided that there was something wrong with you, rather than with the attention span of the people around you. Spend some time looking into where these feelings of insignificance first took root, and see what changes you might be able to make in your life and in your heart.
This one belief in your own unimportance could be limiting you and impacting your life in enormous ways. When you shift your perceptions around your own ability to affect your life and impact the world, you may discover wonderful parts of yourself that you had long ago forgotten. There may even be exciting new parts that you never even knew existed. When you gain awareness of how much your life really does matter, new sources of energy can emerge and your sense of connection with the world is renewed.

"Creation, Tree of Life & Origin of Evil" features excerpts from "The Book of EL-Daoud the Father-KING: Which is the Gospel of Simplicity given to His Own." The story was shown to an Adept in a VISION by "The Voice" of EL-Daoud circa 1909. It was first published in 1922. The Ancient History of GOD, Creation, and the advent of Man was given directly by GOD to the Spirit of EL-Daoud who in turn passed it on to the woman who transcribed it in real time. It was told and written in an old world style with syntax that was very confusing. It used old world verbiage such as 'THOU' and 'SHALT' which made reading and deciphering the text daunting, difficult and quite time consuming.
The following is a current re-edit of that same VISON of Creation given over century ago to an Adept by My Higher Self, Adam EL-Daoud the Father-KING. It has been revised to provide a clearer understanding of the TRUTH of the MOTHER-FATHER-SON GOD for the Children of GOD who have been deceived, manipulated, and confused for countless ages. Corrections were made to paragraph structure, syntax, and verbiage for better congruency. It is written in verse with numbers for easy reference. Names that were originally given in alternate languages and spellings have been revised to better reflect the LIVING WORD OF GOD; Whose WORD is ever changing while still remaining consistent. This is the 21st Century version for the Age of Aquarius and beyond.
The Goal it is to bring back the Memory of our Divine Heritage and our Divine Mission; to bring All of the Children of GOD back into to the LOVING EMBRACE of the FATHER-MOTHER-BROTHER –GOD Trinity that has long been forgotten.
It is to inspire hope and confidence in this our HEAVENLY mission of LOVE and SACRIFICE for our beloved lost Brothers and Sisters who have been confused by the ALLURE and ILLUSION of MATTER.
It is best if "Creation, Tree of Life & Origin of Evil" is processed slowly to avoid misunderstandings of the WORD OF GOD. It is to be digested and reflected on to discern what it signifies to each individual SPARK. It is also a good idea to research the NAMES, IDEAS, and CONCEPTS to develop a personal understanding and appreciation for what the WORD OF GOD means on an intimate level. If this is done, it provides previously unknown passageways of understanding while concurrently opening formally closed doors.

Setting the world on fire: Stunning picture of rare 'devil tornado' emerges
An astonished filmmaker has told of the moment he witnessed this rare fire tornado

Chris Tangey had been out in Alice Springs, Australia, scouting locations for a new movie.
After finishing he went over to help workers at a cattle station when he was confronted by one of nature's most intimidating spectacles.
Just 300 metres away was a 30-metre high fire swirl which "sounded like a fighter jet", despite there being no wind in the area.
A fire tornado, also know as a fire devil, is caused when a column of warm, rising air comes into contact - or causes - a fire on the ground.
These fire whirls are known to last for around two minutes on the very rare occasions they take place.
But Chris found himself mesmerised by the tornado for more than 40 minutes.
The 52-year-old said: "The weather was perfectly still and it was about 25 degrees celsius - it was an entirely uneventful day.
"Then the next thing a man is yelling 'what the hell is that?' and I turned around and saw a 30-metre fire tornado.
"I was about 300 metres away and there was no wind but the tornado sounded just like a fighter jet. My jaw just dropped."
Chris, who runs Alice Springs Film and Television, in Australia, described it as a "once in ten lifetimes experience".
He added: "I've been shooting in the outback for 23 years and I have never seen anything like it. We've heard about them but they're never seen.
"If I had known what was about to happen then I would have happily paid $1,000 to watch it.
"At any time there were three different tornadoes, it just kept going and going for 40 minutes.
"The whole experience was staggering and the length and variety were astonishing."
Although they are rare, these spectacles are extremely dangerous.
In 1923, a fire whirl emerged during Japan's Great Kanto Earthquake and killed 38,000 people in just 15 minutes.

God said:
You give Me great happiness. You make Me Who Knows Only Happiness happy. I am already smiling, and you make Me smile. Although I know true happiness that is beyond happiness occasioned by this or that, I will nevertheless credit you with My happiness. My happiness cannot be added unto, and, yet, you add to My happiness.
My smile cannot be wider, and yet you make Me smile from ear to ear. If I were a flower, it could be said that you make Me blossom from year to year. You make Me blossom infinitely. I smile a smile that has no beginning and no end. I am One Big Smile. You make Me smile. You make Me laugh. Smile back at Me, and the Universe is happy. You, Who are made in My image, smile back at Me. Let Me see you smile now.
The way I see it, there is no occasion not to love. Not loving is not exactly putting your best foot forward, you understand. What can the merit in unhappiness be? Whom does it profit? No one I know.
No longer make excuses for holding unhappiness to you. Blast unhappiness away from the face of the Earth. Imagined unhappiness exists nowhere else. It is a surface thing that runs amok on the surface of life, and that unhappiness belies the Truth of you. Unhappiness is a lie.
And so I say that you are My happiness. And so I say that you add to My happiness. You round Me out. You make Me fulsome. Even as you cannot add a single filament of happiness to Me, I say you do. That is to say that I am grateful to you for the richness you add to the world. The world would be bereft without you. What would occupy the world if you were not here, even if you may be here grumbling? Grumble away for the last time and be done with grumbling and come over here and smile at Me and smile at the world and be a Happiness-Maker. Now is the time. I see you smiling now.
Happiness is yours. Why not? Someone is happy, why not you? Why not be happy this moment of non-existent time? Just as you would choose to dance a tango, choose happiness. You are on the dance floor of life. Enter into the dance of your choice.
Why would anyone choose unhappiness? It makes no sense. Well, perhaps you thought you were obliged to serve unhappiness, as if you owed it to the world, as if you owed it to yourself, as though unhappiness were a life sentence and you would not be paroled.
Parole yourself. You have gotten good at dancing the dance of unhappiness. Now choose another rhythm. Come, come dance with Me. I know One Dance, and I invite you to the Ballroom of Happiness. I have added you to My dance card. Accept now.
Why wait?
Of course, My offer is good for all-time. Of course, My offer has no conditions. My offer never runs out. It is beyond My understanding why or how you could ever say, “No, thank You,” to Me, or, “Thanks, no thanks,” or even, unbelievable as it may be, to not even hear Me invite you to dance with Me. My arms are stretched out to you. There is no one I would rather dance with than you. Easily, I am One Dance Partner for all. I accommodate everyone.
This is not a Masquerade Ball that I invite you to. It is the furthest thing from a masquerade. It is overdue that you take off your masks. If you have not been happy, you have been wearing a mask of unhappiness. True, you believed in it. You were sincere. And you were also mistaken.

HEAVEN #3881 Enough of Requirements for Love , July 11, 2011
God said:
What is love worth? How big can love grow? True love, love that is not dependent upon the external, love that arises from your heart and alights everywhere, love that depends upon itself and itself alone. It isn’t dependent upon anyone or anything but itself. The love I speak of never runs out of itself. That is because love is the fuel to its own fire.
True love is its own kindling. Love sees with the eyes of love. There are no splinters in the eyes of love. I love you young, and I love you old.
As you grow in love, not your capacity for love, for your capacity of love is utter right now, but as you grow in giving love without requiring certain attributes, then you love as I do love. Then you love because you love. Then you are love radiant that lights up any room and all the beating hearts in the room.
This is not a scholarly treatise I give. I am giving you the straight goods. The love you can give is equal to the love I give. I give without doubt. I am not mushy, yet I give love the same way you breathe. Love is Mine to give, and I give it. I give it fulsomely.
Once you countermand ego, then you too can give love without requirement. Whatever someone thinks of Me or does not think of Me does not alter My love. My love is a given. There is no way to stop the flow of My love. The little considerations that influence your love are not considerations to Me. I love because I love. Whether you are true to Me or not leaves no mark on My love. Nothing touches My love. The love I give is a given. My heartbeat cannot be stopped. It cannot be paused. My love is and it pours in sunshine or in rain. It pours in Heaven, and it pours on Earth. Love, which is never routine, never fluctuates in this heart of Mine.
My heart is full of love, and I have no ego. I do not have a speculated need to make Myself important. I do not have to have applause or even approbation or any standing at all. And you don’t either. Your heart doesn’t require the prods to love that the world holds sacred. We are not speaking of personal love here. We are not speaking of the mad dash of love that is rampant on Earth. We are not speaking of love that is dependent upon anything at all.
We are talking about your natural vision. When your eyes are clear, when judgment and ego leave, you too are left with love that soars and displaces all the riff-raff that got deposited in your heart. Enough of requirements for love.
Just love. You do not need someone to be a certain height before you can love him. He does not have to be of a certain profession. He doesn’t have to be somebody. He can be anybody. There are no illusions to your love once you get the hang of it. You simply love. You simply love, and your love covers everyone.
This is not an effort, you understand. If you have to cringe in order to exhale love, that may be noble, but it is not love. Love is not noble, you understand. Love exacts no price. There is no bargaining with love. Love is a state of consciousness, and once you see from a larger vantage, once you remove hidden and unhidden judgment, you will simply love. There will be love, and you will be it.

HEAVEN #3886 Let Us Not Forget Your Heart , July 16, 2011
God said:
I cannot say enough how important you are. Important to Me and important to the world. And, yet, I do not want you to think about your importance very much, for that will make you feel self-conscious. Better to be unself-conscious.
When you are feeling self-conscious, you are either ahead of yourself or following behind. Then you are more like an actor on the stage, which, of course, you, as a human being, are anyway. Better to be natural and unconcerned with how you appear, however. It is more rewarding just to be. Just to be simple. Just to be alive. Just to be you.
How unself-conscious are young children and animals. They are just natural. They are just living. They have no image to follow. And how delightful they are as they don’t notice themselves so much on the stage. They don’t know to put on airs. And why would they? What would the advantage be? To impress someone? They are just enjoying what is at hand. They do not pose for photos in order to appear splendid.
They simply are.
Self-importance isn’t exactly the way to go. Just know how wonderful you are, and then forget about it. Accept your heritage, and don’t make a fuss about it. Your heritage is a given. I am speaking of everyone’s being created in My image. Guaranteed. No exceptions. Life time guarantee. Actually eternal guarantee. There are no seconds. You are all first-class scions of the God above and the God within.
The world, of course, would sort you. The world likes to sort. There is no end to the piles that the world would sort you into. Young, old. Tall, short. Gender. Brains. Wealth. Let Us not forget wealth. That will get you a good place in line. The world forgets itself and what it is made of.
But, you, remember, and then go on from there. Remember it once, and then jump into life freely. When you remember, you can let go of externals which are, after all, only externals. They are not integral to what is truly Real and what matters more than the world’s unimportant stratifications.
It is, of course, easy to get strung up on the externals. Certainly, the externals have an appeal. Who wouldn’t want wealth? And, yet, who doesn’t know that wealth is not what it is cracked up to be. Those who have wealth have an ease that you may not, yet they may not sleep as well or enjoy their lives any more than you enjoy yours. Sometimes less. Being a human being is the common denominator, not money in the bank.
What does bring you happiness? I am talking about solid happiness and not just spurts of happiness at the occurrence of an event. Crossing the finish line before everyone else has its excitement. It lasts a minute or two, or maybe to the next morning. Fame’s claim to happiness is short-lived. Better to have happiness that sees you through. How much are all the short-lived jolts of happiness worth? The secret is to enjoy life from stem to stern.
Of course, be glad to have these jolts of happiness. Also know that they depart just as fast as they came to you. Queen for a day is only Queen for a Day. Even queen for life is not such a bowl of cherries.
In the field of life that I speak of, prince or pauper is the same. When you come down to it, your title is not so much as you thought. Your pocketbook is not much. Your heart is much.

HEAVEN #3888 Why Must the Universe Suit You Right Now?, July 18, 2011
God said:
The thing about being impatient is that you frustrate yourself. You also frustrate the very situation that makes you impatient. You fight. You resist, as if you prefer frustration to patience. Surely, you are choosing impatience. Choose patience instead. Choose to be more easy-going.
Whatever you allow to make you impatient is not going to last forever. It will go away by itself, or you will find a solution. Disband impatience now. Tell yourself mildly that it’s all right to have this situation for a while. If there is nothing you can immediately do about it this minute, you might as well resign yourself to waiting.
Find that which in the situation you can be glad about. If your computer is frustrating you, at least you have a computer. You still have your fingers to type with. You still have your capacity. What happened to enjoying this moment that is at your service? Must you convince yourself that this moment must be made of something else, or you will not tolerate it?
Who are you to pout at the Universe because it is not obeying your command? Who are you to pout or stamp your foot? Why must the Universe suit your convenience just now? Odds are that you brought this situation that has gotten your goat all on your own? Odds are that nobody created this situation but you. And, if you did not, nevertheless, you still need to ride with it.
Your car won’t start, or you locked yourself out of your car. You are going to be late to work. So, then, be late to work without engendering aggravation to accompany being late. There are greater frustrations than being late. Be glad for that which you can be glad for.
Impediments are part of life. Do not be so impeded by them. Do impediments have to rule you? Roll with the punches, beloveds. Use this time for some other means than screaming at your fate.
It may be your fate to be late to work, but it is not your fate to insist upon intolerant frustration and temper. Wouldn’t you rather be good to yourself? Why not be good to yourself? Why not choose patience as your means?
Go get a cup of coffee, or use the delay to talk to Me in a friendly way? Why not be a good sport rather than a tempestuous one?
If you are caught in a hailstorm, let’s say, why storm at the storm? Accept it instead. If you cannot rule the weather, then make friends with it.
If you cannot sleep at night, you don’t have to cry about it. The world has said that you have to sleep this night. Maybe this night was made for not sleeping. It is enough that you find you cannot sleep. Don’t compound it.
Even if you are the most impatient person in the world, you don’t have to continue to be. You pay a high price for your impatience, for what is impatience but tension?
Untense yourself. Choose calmness. You can do it. There has to be a remedy for toppling out of your Beingness, for isn’t that what you are doing when you choose frustration over taking something in your stride?
Is this situation worth your getting tense over? Is it really?
Do not impound yourself because something is against your will. Life delivered you the wrong thing. Well, then, make it right, or wait it out. You want a situation to change. Maybe it is you who has to change. Maybe you need to increase your tolerance I.Q. Will you do it for Me?

If you have had enough of what has been, get into more of what is. What is and what was are not equal. What is, is and what was, is not. What was, was an appraisal. It was a conclusion you drew. You attributed a certain value and then the case is closed. It was good, or half-bad, or not good at all. Instead of leaving your appraisal by the wayside, you kept it with you. You would not budge your appraisal. You had made a decision about it, and you kept it, as if your appraisal were true and only true. You would not waver.
Once you looked into a wavy mirror, and that’s how you saw yourself, waving in the breeze.
No matter what I say, you resist. How can you be a beautiful being, you ask yourself, when all of your life attested to your not being a beautiful being.
Oh, how the world will change when you change your appraisal of yourself. We are not speaking of ego here. We are not plumping you up like a sagging cushion. We are talking about the true measure of you. I am talking about the true measure of you. You may be talking about a photograph that was all illusion.
You are not what you were in the past. You are not what you thought you were in the past. You never were what you thought you were in the past. Do not buy yesterday’s goods. Buy fresh thought today.
Do not rely on others in the world to encourage you. Encourage yourself. Encourage others. You are meant to stand tall. You are meant to rise above your old patterns of thought. They have been held onto enough. They have been held on to too long.
It is not that you have to be salvaged. You have to look anew. Open your mind and heart even a crack, and you will begin to see the light coming through. The light is there. It is burning brightly within you. You are a tower of light, yet a tower of light that does not see itself.
You made a bargain long ago that you would not be yourself. You made a bargain long ago that you would be less than yourself. You accepted the bargain. Therefore, I say you made it. You were waylaid, and you said, “Okay. That’s how it is.” And you accepted unworthiness as fact. You looked around, and you saw unworthiness. You looked in a wavy mirror, and you saw waviness. Wave goodbye to unworthiness. You are worth a King’s ransom. And, I, the King, ransom you from false beliefs.
As easily as you were persuaded to false belief, now be persuaded to the true light of personhood. The truth is that you are light surrounded by a body. Your light is not dampened. Your light shines brightly, only you have believed in the shade around your light more than you have believed in the light. As you believed, you saw. Now I ask you to see yourself as you are. See with My eyes, and all you will see is bright light shining.
Wherever you look, you will see bright light shining. You will see the sparkling of love radiating everywhere. You will be weighed on a true scale, and the world’s thumb will not be falsifying the scale.
To thine own self be true takes on a new meaning.
You hear My message to you. You are My message. I give you a message that you are to shine to the world and, so, you embrace the world, My message, and yourself.

God said:
I inveigle you to come to Me with heart in your hand, like a hat, or like an offering, as a guest brings a box of chocolates or a cake. You bring your heart to Me, and you hold it out, and you say: “Here, God, this is for you. Here, God, this is yours. You gave it to me to keep for You, and I have kept it. You did not want me to keep it aseptic or wrapped in plastic where nothing could enter it. You wanted me to keep giving it away on Your behalf, and, so that when I place it before you, you would be happy that it had been used and given away freely.”
You say, “God, it is a little worn. I hope you don’t mind.”
Of course, I don’t mind at all. That’s how I like it. The unused pieces of your heart are sterile. They are rusty not from wear but from disuse. I am an economical kind of God. I like hearts to be well-used and well-used over and over again.
Hearts are not meant to be prim and proper. Hearts are not meant to wear a starched collar. Hearts are meant to be very pliable, to be worn even inside out. Hearts are not to stand on ceremony. They are not meant to be decorous. They are meant to be easy-going and plump. What a heart I gave you, not to be saved, but to be used.
Of course, a heart cannot be used up. It flourishes with use. A heart is meant to be popular, a hail fellow well met. A heart is meant to be welcoming, humble, and generous. A heart is meant to be glad, very glad, for the opportunity of serving fellow hearts on My behalf.
On Earth, you with a wonderful heart that beats inside you in tune to My love is meant to be rampant, galumphing all over, making friends on hill and dale, a knowing heart that knows how to give its love and is not shy to, a rollicking heart that rolls in laughter, engages in play, frolics like a lamb on grass and gathers grass and doesn’t worry about neatness or any kinds of confines, an eager heart to offer itself everywhere, not minding if it is taken or not, a heart that knows its place is everywhere, has confidence to know that all other hearts, no matter what they may seem like, are its kin, perhaps long-lost but now are found.
How My heart beats at the love you have given and the joy you have found. I take joy in all hearts, crazy mixed-up hearts, stumbling hearts, shy hearts, hearts that bump into yours, hearts that lose all bounds, hearts that dance to beat the band, hearts that fall all over themselves, hearts that can’t stop laughing, hearts that never miss a beat, hearts that fall all over themselves in their joy at meeting other hearts, hearts that swing and sway, hearts that go out of their way to offer themselves, hearts that don’t know anything else but to be hearts raring to make music, good-natured hearts that want to play and yet play no games, hearts that sit aside so that other hearts can sit up front, hearts that offer themselves without restriction, hearts that know what life is about, and hearts that know enough to seize the moment and overthrow it with joyfulness.
I am looking for hearts. Are there any hearts here? May I see a count of hearts? Raise your hearts so that I may see them and take them into My heart and have a jamboree such as all hearts have been waiting for.

God said:
Yes, the weeds that you point out in another’s garden are your own. Pay attention to your own garden. In this case, weeds refer to faults.
If you did not have the very weeds you point out, you would not notice them in other gardens as much as you do. You certainly would not notice them with a superior air.
Finding fault is the antipathy of humility. Serenity is more like humility. Appreciation is more like humility. The more appreciative you are, the more you come from a high place, and this very high place bears the name of humbleness. There is no humiliation in humility. There is humiliation in finding fault. Don’t do it anymore.
The more obvious a fault is in another, the more you possess it. Why harp on faults? I suggest that you get out from under them. The splinter is in your own eye.
The beauty is here within you as well. Look for the beauty, and renounce faults. Be done with them. Help Me to lift the world. You do not help the world by putting it down.
Grow in the direction you want the world to grow in.
The only thing you can do is to be an example to the world. Be the example you would like to have before you. Wouldn’t it be nice and easy then if where you looked, you saw what you yourself would like to be? Be it then now. Be the inspirer.
This is God speaking to you in the way that life speaks to you. Life teaches you. Without ego, you would listen.
Emulate the highest. Complaining is not of the highest. No longer complain. No longer complain even once about anything.
Respond to what another says and not to your opinion of it. Will you take this as your motto? From now on foreswear criticism. Foreswear complaint. Foreswear displeasure.
Embrace upliftment. Embrace.
True, complaint is contagious. There is a vaccine. I would call the vaccine upliftment. Uplift the world rather than carry it. Release yourself from your bonds.
Whatever you thought yesterday, think a new way today. Whatever you found fault with yesterday, let go of it today. Whatever you could have done better yesterday, do it today. Be a replenisher of the Universe. Be a replenisher of appreciation.
Appreciate everyone for their bravery. They are brave to come before you. They run the risk of being snapped at, isn’t that so? Be grateful for everyone who dares to come before you and risk your criticism, for you tend to think you know better, and so you comment on the weeds in another’s garden.
Weed your own garden first, and then go help your neighbor. How about saying nothing once in a while? Who told you that you have to speak out every thought in your head? Speak up when you have something uplifting to say. Inspire or be quiet. Inspire, or bite your tongue. Express your Higher Self. Everything else has been said and said more than once. Think of something new to say.
Think of hearts. How thirsty they are. Give them a drink.
Water the flowers in another’s garden. Share upliftment. Share inspiration. Be careful where you walk in another’s garden.
Weed your own garden, and then invite others to it. Be the beautiful garden you would like others to be. Your business isn’t to improve others. Your business is to inspire yourself. Then you will have many coming to your garden and asking you how you do it? “How do you make your garden grow?” they will ask.

Rediscovering the Lost Art of Blessing--by Karen Horneffer Ginter, Jun 25, 2012
In his book, “To Bless the Space Between Us,” John O’Donohue describes an experience he had when he was a young priest visiting a group of nuns. He was asked by one of the older women to offer her a blessing. After he finished, he knelt down in front of her, and similarly asked her for a blessing. She was completely taken aback by this because, apparently, no one had ever asked her for such a thing.
It’s odd to live in a world where some people, but not all people, feel worthy of offering blessings. To change this inequity, O’Donohue encourages all of us to rediscover our power to bless one another.
I’ve become enchanted with this invitation, regardless of whether we define a blessing as being a wish or a prayer, whether we conceive it as coming from us or through us, or whether we offer blessings though what we say, write, or think. In any of these forms, the act of blessing another contains several irresistible qualities.
First, blessings are empowering because they connect us to our capacity to offer good to the world through simple thoughts and actions. They also provide us with a constructive way to redirect our thoughts and emotions, which might otherwise get channeled into worry, frustration, or self-absorption. Our concern for our child can be held in a blessing: “May this situation work out for you.”
Our frustration at work can fuel a thought: “May this situation find harmony.”
When we find ourselves consumed with our own predicament, we can expand our thinking by offering blessings to others who might be involved in similar situations: “May we all find resolution and clarity.”
Such shifts in our awareness can help us to broaden our patterns of thinking so that we don’t get caught up in a tight web of repetitive and consuming thoughts.
When we find ourselves responding to numerous requests for money and time, it’s also helpful to have ways of initiating acts of generosity. When we don’t have time to do this by engaging in “random acts of kindness,” offering blessings gives us something we can do in no time at all—just by thinking a positive thought about someone else. Allowing our attention to move outside of ourselves can be a refreshing change when we feel overwhelmed by all that’s on our to-do list.
Thinking such thoughts is useful in times when we wish we could be helpful, but there’s nothing we can do. It helps to remind us that we can always, at least, offer a wish to the person or situation in need. We can also develop a habit of offering blessings to people we pass by or interact with, as a way of regularly turning our thoughts toward compassion. Our wish, on their behalf, can be quite simple: “May you find fulfillment in your work,” “May your travels be safe.” We can also write out such blessings to loved ones just as we might tuck a note inside of our child’s lunch box: “May you find unexpected joy today,” “May you always know how much I love you.”
It’s fun to be creative with our blessings by finding small objects—maybe a heart or a fall leaf—which symbolize our wish, or writing our words on something interesting, like a stone. We should also consider including ourselves in our blessings, possibly starting the day with a kind thought: “May I feel peaceful and happy today.”
The more we offer such blessings to ourselves and to others, the more contagious it becomes to water these seeds of kindness and generosity in our own mind and heart, and in the world around us.

BRUNO TORFS' art and sculpture garden in Marysville has been his sanctuary for fantasy, beauty and humour for 14 years.
On Black Saturday, he fled with 14 paintings from the gallery foyer. When he returned, almost everything was gone.
"Some of the terracotta sculptures survived but the lush greenery, so crucial to the magic here, had all been wiped out,'' he said. ''There wasn't a single leaf left. The look, the smell - it felt like another planet."
What a difference a year makes. Last week, Mr Torfs, 54, said: ''The beauty is returning to the garden, and to Marysville. A lot of people left but there is a core group who remain very optimistic. The place is blooming, there's a new beginning and, if people are adventurous, they can be part of that."

As the inferno bore down on David Nicholls' home in Narbethong, he had seconds to react. He put his wife Nicole and four-year-old son Lachlan in a car and watched them drive away towards his parents in Healesville. When the Country Fire Authority volunteer realised he could not defend the property, he saved just one possession - his wedding album. As he drove away, the back of his vehicle burst into flames. He survived by diving into a drain beneath the Maroondah Highway.
To this day, Mrs Nicholls cannot believe her husband saved the album. "I was really touched," she said. "It was the last thing I would ever have thought to grab. It's not as if it was even sitting by the door. He had to search for it, too."
As the firestorm tore through Kinglake West, Greg Holloway just had time to find a precious photograph of his sister Tracy, who died of cancer in 2007.
Nothing remains of his home but next month Mr Holloway, 39, and wife Jo will begin building a new home. "The area is bouncing back, the spirit of the locals is rising,'' he said. "I feel so lucky to be here. I've been given a second chance and I want to cherish every minute.''
When Irene Passi's son Robert returned to the ruins of her 4-hectare property at Buxton the morning after Black Saturday, he found his mother's beloved pet lamb Tags still smouldering. In the weeks that followed, Ms Passi dubbed Tags her ''little miracle" but six months later he was dead, his lungs unable to recover.
"It was like losing one of the family," Ms Passi said last week from her new home in Healesville as she cradled her new pet wombat David, named after a friend who perished in the fires.
"In the daytime, reality strikes. Destruction is everywhere, people are angry, neighbours argue,'' she said. ''There's a sombre mood that will hang over the community for a long time. It will never be the same because there's too much pain."

God said:
If you came across people with leprosy frequently, you might say to yourself: “What have I done to attract this?” You might take it personally, hold yourself accountable, karma and so forth, or you might not hold yourself accountable at all but be mightily annoyed that people with leprosy seem to gravitate to you. You see it that you are being given a hard time.
So now, here’s the difference between you and the Great One who helped to heal. He said nor thought any of the above. His thought was: “What can I do to be of service?”
He wasn’t thinking of himself. That meant he didn’t wonder how he might have brought people with this illness to himself nor did he find fault with them for having a disease that made them outcasts in the common world they lived in, nor did he resent them for choosing to come to him. His immediate thought was to be of service to his Heavenly Father through the needs of those before him. He served, and yet he did not take others’ difficulties to himself.
I use the above by way of example.
Now, let Us say that you suffer ill-will too many times from others. Others seem to be offended by you, and a sure result might be that you offend them back. It is like you are innocent and yet you find yourself in the same pickle time after time. The incidents you may come across can be compared to the appearance of people with leprosy. Your common response might me: “How come there are so many people who take offense at me? They shouldn’t behave this way to me. It’s always like this. This isn’t right. What is the matter with these people?”
You may see that somehow the world mistreats you. You recriminate the others for their lack of consideration to you.
There are others who see themselves responsible for the recurrence of situations, and, yet, they are still as helpless as the ones who cannot come to grips with the idea that they somehow contribute to the drama repeated in their lives again and again. These children of Mine may hold themselves guilty of doing something wrong, even when they don’t know what, and even may be an innocent bystander.
In one scenario, one person takes no responsibility, and in the other scenario, one dwells in guilt about it. In both cases, attention goes on themselves.
Better to get away from these scenarios and ask yourself the questions now: “What do I do? How do I respond to this? How can I repair the experience for the benefit of all?”
Let Us say that someone accuses you of being rude to him or unkind in some way, and you see this as an assault on you. Your reaction is anger. You are going to have nothing to do with this person in the future. That did it. He or she wronged you, and that’s the end of your exchange with that person.
That’s the end of that person in your life. You’re finished.
And so you punish the other person, and, in the process, you punish yourself.
In kindness and generosity, you could say to the person who was offended and who, in the process, offended you: “I’m so sorry. I had no idea. I was unaware. I would never want to offend you. I will be more careful in the future. I never want this to happen again.” How would it hurt you to say this?
Or would you rather be the angry victim?
We are talking about your being a true friend, not a happenstance one.
If, for good reason or no reason, you have alienated someone, don’t alienate them further. Make peace.
Better to make a friend than a foe. Better for all. Better for the world.

The importance of your staying positive cannot be overestimated. It is incumbent upon you to set the sites of the world. Your thoughts produce the world.
Let Us say, for the moment, that you are a manufacturer of bottle caps. As the manufacturer of bottle caps, you know better than to say negative things about bottle caps. You wouldn’t say they aren’t made right. You wouldn’t say that the bottle caps you manufacture are foolish. You wouldn’t say, “Bottle caps. Tut tut.”
And, yet, about the world, you say, “Tut tut.” About the world, you give dire prognoses. About the world, sometimes you throw up your hands. About the world, you may say, “There will always be wars.” You may say, “History repeats itself.” And by your very statements, thought mentally or said aloud, you try to establish that what you say is true. So, when history repeats itself, you can say, “There, I told you so. I could see it. I knew it. I predicted it.” “And I won,” your mind says vacuously.
From now on, please shed light on the world. The world is of Our making, beloveds. It is Our baby. If you do not speak well of Our baby, who is going to?
The world is your infant. How you nourish an infant makes a difference. The world depends upon how you think of it and what you say about it. The world will change according to how you think about it.
There is the age-old topic of nature or nurture. The world which I gave birth to in love also depends upon nurture. The world depends upon your nurture.
Is it not well-known that how you think and speak of a houseplant makes a difference to its growth?
If you want your houseplant to be blooming, you bless it. If you neglect or badmouth your plant, it will wither. You can’t possibly think that the world is less affected than a houseplant you picked up at the super market.
There are truly good things you can say about the world, and you must say them. Say them, or be quiet. Either cheer the world, or be mute, but it is much better to cheer the world.
Without the world, you wouldn’t even have it to find fault with! The world is not be your scapegoat. The world is your opportunity. You have an influence on the state of the world. You cannot fling the world aside for the sake of your own declarations.
The world is a living breathing entity. It is well-meaning. It has no choice but to reflect you. Give it something wonderful to reflect. Be the world’s best cheerleader. Lead the world on to victory.
Consider the world your army, and so you give it its direction. Of course, the world can be an armed solider ready for war. Of course, the world can also be the loving Mother Earth it was designed to be. It is your call. You call the shots. Your thumbs up or your thumbs down make all the difference in the world. You are the designator of the world. You are the propagator of the world. You are the farmer who tills it. And you are the children who pick the fruit from its trees. Upon all of you, the world depends. It takes its cues from you. You are the mother of the world. You are its orchestra leader.
You are its champion. You support the world. Find that which to admire. And so you bolster the world. There is much in the world to love right now. Love it.

God said:
The only thing you need in your life is more love.
You have more love to give, only you don’t really understand this, understand what this means.
You cannot manufacture love, yet you can give it. You can give it to yourself. It would be good for you to love yourself more. Love your Being more. Love your personality as well, and yet know that personality is a fleeting thing, often associated with ego. Concerning your True Being, there is no ego involved. As you love Me, you love your True Being.
Your True Being isn’t concerned with image. Image is concern with ego. Yet if you can love other people’s personalities, why not love your own?
You can keep your personality in place, and yet you can behold it with love.
What a singular thing to be a True Being housed secretly in the human aspects of your given name.
What a parade. What a charade.
Getting back to love, how do you give more even when your heart feels parched? How do you feel more love? Remember it. Remember love. Come back to love. When you feel more love, you will naturally breathe out more love. Is there a greater joy than love? I cannot think of one.
And every day you have occasion for love. Your love does not have to be humongous love. It can be simple toned-down love. It can be awareness of love. What does it feel like to love?
The passageways of your heart are cleared. You send out love without a big to-do. It is an easy-going thing to give out more love.
It is not that you psych yourself up to love. It is that you focus more on love than you focus on the matters you have been focusing on. Worries, for example.
Look, when you want to have more money, it’s unwise to focus on lack of money. When you want to radiate more love, it’s unwise to focus on perceived lack of love. The only thing you truly have to give is love. Acts of love may or may not be backed by the Bank of Love. Acts of love have their merit. An active flowing heart of love merits more. When it comes to love, it doesn’t matter how you box it and wrap it. It matters the love itself.
Love is energy, beloveds. Your True Nature is love. The love I filled your heart with cannot be overlooked forever. Instead of knuckling down to love, just idly paddle love as you would a canoe. If you are making your life a movie of love, you will not make an epic movie of love. It will be a low-key movie. It might even be a silent movie.
Let love be known to you. You do not have to profess love. Be present in love. Sink into the cushions of love. Lean back, recline, know that you are love and that you have love to give. You do want to give love, don’t you?
Give love from your heart. Be telepathic with love. Let your love go everywhere. Let the love in your heart emanate from there. Let love be your password to life. Let love be the path you walk on. Go arm and arm with love. Rather than profess love, allow your God-given love to be. You are not shooting your love out. There is no need for a barrage of love. There is just need for love to flow as naturally as you breathe.
Love is good. You are love. You are good. Love is the epitome of your life. Be a hot-cross bun of love. Be a provider of love on the corner. People will find you there. You don’t need a big sign. Casual encounters with love will do. Easy does it.

God said:
To what are you beholden? Not to obligation. Obligation and responsibility are not the same thing. Joy is your responsibility. Love is your responsibility. Obligation doesn’t seem to carry joy. Obligation is a favor or an exchange. Obligation may be a bartering situation. Obligation is a loosely-written contract.
Such contracts often have repercussions. Obligation isn’t generous. As a matter of fact, obligation stints. Obligation is a miser and does not come from the heart. Obligation is a weight. Duty and obligation are not generous words, and, when enacted, they are not giving acts. Duty and obligation can be considered skinflints.
Responsibility and heart ride together. Duty and obligation are more like grimaces or gritted teeth. May you be spared from those who would serve you from a sense of obligation. Free yourself and others from obligation.
Obligation comes from outside you. It is like a rule you’ve heard. Responsibility comes from inside you, and is, therefore, timely. Responsibility is your decision. It is not imposed upon you. You accept it.
A mother comforts her baby. That is the mother’s joy. And so she gives joy to her baby. The mother may not like being awakened at night, but she wants to nurse her baby more than she wants to sleep.
She is responsible for her baby, and it is a responsibility that, by nature, she accepts. The mother blesses the baby, and the baby blesses the mother. It is not a trade. It is the will of both mother and baby.
Obligation is heavy-handed. Obligation may incur resentment. Obligation is simply not appreciated in the way that responsibility is. Obligation hangs heavily on your shoulders. Responsibility strengthens your shoulders. It makes you stand taller, straighter. Responsibility is not drudgery. Responsibility is an offering to the altar of life. It is not a formality. Obligation is a leech. Responsibility is an honor.
You may be a prisoner of obligation. Obligation is like being in a chain gang. There are fetters around your ankles.
Responsibility has no handcuffs. Responsibility is a free choice you make. You are responsible to yourself. Taking on responsibility is a gift to yourself, and it bears gifts to others. Being responsible is something you want to take care of. It is only a committed heart that reinforces responsibility.
Responsibility is an embrace. Obligation is like a forced march.
There is a fine line between responsibility and obligation. Remember, you are responsible for yourself as well as to another. If you are to treat others as you treat yourself, make sure you treat yourself well. What you may do from a sense of obligation obligates another. When you feel obligated, you may well be obligating another, and then you start measuring and counting what you are owed. You may not want to do this, yet you do it. Give others their freedom, and keep your own freedom of choice intact.
When you obligate another, you deny them their freedom. You may become a dunning debt collector.
Even when you don’t say a word about it, you are moiling over debts due you in your mind. You are adding up figures.
Be not an obligator, nor obligated be. Either way, obligation is not wholesome.
Responsibility on the other hand is wholesome. Responsibility is a lightweight. Obligation is a heavyweight. Responsibility is an opportunity. Obligation is a ball and chain. A sense of obligation has been thrown at you. Responsibility, on the other hand, is like carrying a torch at the Olympics.
Responsibility is a winner who carries the torch and runs with it.

God said:
Give the thoughtful little acts. They mean so much. Visit the lonely, the sick, the poor, and give them occasion to feel better. Sometimes all it takes is a little attention. I will call this survival of the fittest, you being the fittest, beloveds. Survive by giving to others that which is yours to give.
You will find many occasions to bless someone, and so you are blessed. You are blessed twofold. You are blessed by your ability to give, and you are blessing by the deed of giving. Maybe thrice-blessed, blessed again that someone gives you the opportunity to give.
Do not overlook the power of the little things. A word. A glance. A deed.
Remember to give what someone wants more than you want to give something else that you favor to give.
Company may or may not be a gift desired. Sweets may or may not be a gift desired. Give what the receiver desires. Think of what the receiver desires. It could even be a bowl of lemons.
There are occasions where your presumed needs take a back-burner. Not what you want, but what means most to another.
When you are grateful for your own life, express your gratitude in the avenues of others’ lives. This pleases Me very much. Any kindness you give to one of My children, you give to Me. I thank you for your generosity. I thank you for taking care of My children as if they were your own. Of course, that is the case. Every child is yours. Everyone is yours, and therefore everyone is for you to care for.
In your awareness, skip no one. Just as you might total bills, tote up those who value a thought from you and can use it.
Once you had a narrow awareness. Now it has widened. Your awareness widens with your vision.
Soon your vision will be all-encompassing. In passing, you will take care of everyone. You will see out of the corner of your eye. You will see even that which the eye cannot see.
You will look into My eyes, and see through them. You will see all. You will hear all. You will be All.
Responsibility is not worry. Responsibility is awareness. Your reach is long. Your step is long. Your giving does not even feel like giving. It is where you are. And so you carry out every responsibility to the world and to yourself. It is to yourself that every generous act is directed. You skip no one.
It is that your mind and heart encompass all. You are a soldier of mercy who carries everyone to the light. There is no battlefield. You succor everyone. You carry a sword of light that mutes all darkness out in the field. You are the ray of light that eager eyes look to. You light up hearts, and those hearts light up other hearts. You lead the Light Brigade.
In so doing, you put out fires. They are so easy to put out. They never should have been. They submit eagerly at your feet.
And, so, the whole world becomes at your service. You who serve the world are served. Not a day goes by that you are not served. This is true for everyone, only what you are served may not be as you desired. Give more, and desire more. Everything is for you to give, and everything is for you to receive.
As you widen your eyes, you will see all that you have been given. This makes it very easy for you to give, and give you will.

Heigh ho, a day has begun. The dawn lifts up its eyes and glances into yours. All is well. Heigh ho, a day has begun.
The whole world wakes up to a new day. Even in the skylines of New York City, the dawn, heralded by the rosy sun, has made its appearance. The dawn and the skyline are blessed by the sun. All that shines under the sun is blessed. And all shines under the sun.
Yet the sun has no patent on light. As mighty as the sun is, you have light within you that shines as brightly or even brighter. I think We have to say brighter than the sun. The sun, as enlightened as the sun is, is like a stalwart delivery truck that follows a steady route. The sun has a schedule to follow. It is always prompt.
You, on the other hand, have no limits to your delivery. You have no schedule. Your light is simply meant to stay on. No turning it off. Night or day, you can shine your light, and your light reaches far.
Your light has long fingers, fingers longer than the rosy fingers of the dawn. Your fingers of light have no end. This is the nature of the light that shines from your heart, or your eyes, or your smile, or from the evidence of your life. Plane down a board, hold a child's hand, lift up your eyes, your light pierces the world. Light from you isn't illusory. It is momentous. It is soul-brightening. It is heart-polishing. It needs no batteries. It runs on light that sustains itself. It needs no batteries, no storage, no timer, no winding like a clock, no unwinding.
The light of the sun is solar. Your light is soul light shining out just the way the sun meets the day. You are full of soul. No one is soul-less. Who on Earth would cover up his light? And yet this has occurred. And yet this has even become commonplace, as if the world were no place for light, as if Earth should have its shades pulled, as if there were no sun, no stars, no reflection on lakes and splashes of light entering the windows and makes itself at home indoors.
If My light is momentous, then yours is the same. You have great light within you. Awareness of the light you are is beginning to dawn on you. Simultaneous are the dawning of awareness and the dawning of light. They are reciprocal in any case. They let in the fresh air. Open your heart wide.
Through the windows of your soul, your light will beam across the horizon and enter hearts and nourish hearts. Light will touch their hearts, and the lighted people will not even know where the light came from. They will just know that the light has come. Even from furrowed foreheads, light can come, and light can land, and all on Earth can be light. All can be like light never seen before, like light never quite dancing like this before, like light like a huge chorus line. The dancers' feet never touch the ground. Light travels at the speed of light. Light multiplies itself, and the world is drowned in love. The world swoons in love, and anything but love is knocked out.
This is heigh-ho, the dawn has come. It is not ho-hum. It is heigh-ho, and off We go. We charge across the Universe, light leaping high, light leaving love everywhere to a tune that you have hardly dared dream of and yet is yours to see with, that blinding light of your heart alighted on love and nothing but love.

Consider responsibility. Remember that you represent Me. You can be real and represent Me. Just remember that you represent Me. Consider how you represent Me.
You can inspire. You can authentically inspire even when you do not feel inspired. You don’t have to let everyone know what you are thinking or feeling at any given moment. Even when you feel like whining, you don’t have to. Who are you to whine? You have other alternatives at your disposal.
What does being a responsible person mean?
Certainly it is not your responsibility to discourage the world. Certainly it is not your responsibility to point out the errors of the world. Who asked you to? Certainly not I!
I never meant you to broadcast the newspaper headlines. I never asked you to speak ill of the world. I never asked you to air its foibles.
Because you feel disappointed is no reason to foster disappointment in the world. It doesn’t take much to be good at fostering disappointment. Be good at something else.
I ask you to go higher, and I mean now, not later, not just for when you feel like it. I ask you to spread light even when you don’t feel like it. Uplift even when you do not feel like it, and you will be uplifted. It is not for you to share the doldrums. If you feel you must be in the doldrums, then at least do not invite others in. What are you trying to prove? Are you trying to prove that you are a victim?
Why on Earth would you want to do that?
Prove that you are a hero instead.
Is it asking too much of you that I ask you, once and for all, to stop complaining?
The time for moaning and groaning is over. It is time to put a stop to it. There has been enough. The end of complaining has come. What was the purpose in complaining anyway?
What kind of accomplishment is complaint anyway?
Anyone can do it. There are probably some who can do it better than you, but why complain at all?
It is an old song. Be tired of it.
What is so revelatory about your disappointment and your disapproval?
What is it that prompts you to carry on with it?
If you have been complaining, stop now. It does not become a child of God to whine. Not at all. It is not necessary. Why would you gripe and gripe again when there are so many other choices before you?
Why would you gripe if only to yourself?
Do you really want to hear about it over and over again?
Is it music to your ears?
Are you really so in love with all the reasons why you are too straightforward to uplift the world?
Your mission in life cannot be to complain. I ask you to let go of pointing out wrongs, personal wrongs or otherwise.
Who wants to hear you moan about the rain or anything?
Be edifying instead. Look, can’t you find something interesting to talk about?
If there is something you have said once, don’t say it again. Well, don’t say it again unless it is far-seeing and opens the hearts of all those who hear you.
Why on Earth would you want to be a heart-closer when you have the opportunity of opening hearts and opening the whole world to itself?
When you can circulate love, why aren’t you?
I ask for your help in enlightening the world. Did you not know that?
If you did not know that, why didn’t you?
And if you know that now, well, then, act on it. This is your responsibility. It is your responsibility to inspire the world. This is what I ask of you. If you have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, then pull yourself up by your bootstraps.

Hear ye, hear ye. I am speaking to you. There is not a moment when I am not. There are moments when you hear. Will you kindly speak to Me?
Carry Me with you. Talk to Me as you would to a high-priced consultant. Here you have Me at your fingertips, as it were, and may not avail yourself of Our consultancy.
Even if you cannot hear Me in words, you can hear Me in feeling. You feel an urge to go in this direction or that direction. Something urges you forward or something stops you. Could it be I? Could I be at your elbow?
Certainly, there are times when you don't know what direction to take, and, yet, there are more times when you do know, and, yet, a little nudge from ego takes you down a path that does not serve you, or Me or anyone at all, well, except as a warning sign of a path not to go down.
One who steals justifies his stealing, as if stealing were just a slight turn in the world, as if your perceived need warranted it. If you steal in any sense of the word, you have made yourself needy. If you take honor that is not yours, you have stolen. If you take an invention that you did not invent as yours, you have stolen. If you take credit which is not yours, you have done a disservice to yourself.
You walk on hollow land.
Can you imagine that I would advise you to take that which is not yours?
And, once, you have done the deed, do you think I am no longer at your elbow?
I am right with you as ever, nudging you now. I will pick you up. I will embrace you as before.
No longer are you to hide behind any mask. Theft is a mask. Cruelty is a mask. Heartache is a mask.
Cleverness is a mask. Wit is a mask. Take off your masks, and you will find sincerity ready to come forth.
Sincerity is good. Sincere regret beats haughty pride, for regret shows recognition that you have passed a hurdle. Of course, let go of regret quickly. Regret is not a harbor. It is not an inn to stay in, not for even one night. Regret can also be a kind of pride. Pride at regret and pride of virtue are their own stumbling blocks, and are hard to get past. No longer rank yourself, and stop ranking others.
Confide in Me. I am with you now. Tell Me your story, not someone else's. There is no delight in making comparisons.
Come out of the shadows. Put down your defenses. Do you defend yourself from Me?
I know you better than you know yourself. I know in Whose image you are Made. You don't seem to believe it. You refuse to believe it, so inculcated have you been in the mirage of fault. You pick out your faults in a blink of an eye, and, sad as it is, you run away from the Wholeness that you are. Really, would you rather be a broken twig than a whole growing tree?
In Whose image do you want to be made other than in Mine?
And in Whose image would I want to make you other than Mine?
There is not even another image for Me to make you in. I am the only Image there is, and I am way beyond image, and you are greater than image. I am telling you that you are the real thing.
Take off your cloaks and masks, and just be the glory that I made when I made you.

A new monumental moment is approaching as the newest Martian rover closes in on its journey towards the Red Planet. Curiosity has been trekking through space since last November, and will be completing its 352-million-mile journey on August 5, 10:31 Pacific time. This Sunday, redOrbit will be bringing you live coverage of the event, nicknamed "seven minutes of terror," from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Bringing the Mars Science Laboratory safely into the Martian atmosphere, and landing Curiosity onto its surface is not a simple task. NASA has acknowledged the difficulty its engineers will be facing this Sunday, by making one of the most complicated landings in the space agency's history from over 300 million miles away.
MSL launched aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket on November 26 at 10:02 a.m. eastern time from Cape Canaveral last year. Since then, it has been making its way through space at nearly 13,000 mph. During NASA's "seven minutes of terror" in trying to land the rover safely on Mars, engineers must bring the 13,000 mph spacecraft down to 1.7 mph before reaching the surface to ensure Curiosity lands in one piece. The car-sized rover will be landing beside a Martian mountain in Gale Crater to begin a two year mission of scientific work, helping to uncover whether the area has ever had a suitable environment to support life. In order to reach its landing spot, Curiosity will be flying like a wing in the upper atmosphere of Mars, instead of dropping down lie a rock and utilizing the airbag method.
At about seven miles above the surface of the planet, and at a velocity of 900 mph, MSL will deploy a parachute to slow down the descent even more. The spacecraft will be riding down towards the surface for about another six miles before reaching 180 mph. At this stage, curiosity will be released, and the "sky crane" method will be initiated. Mission engineers designed a "sky crane" method for the final several seconds of the flight. During this journey towards the surface, a backpack with retrorockets controlling the descent speed will lower the rover on three nylon cords just before touchdown. NASA said 76 pyrotechnic devices must fire on time during the descent to get Curiosity to the surface.

Ian was night diving off the island of Mauritius when he was stung multiple times by Box Jellyfish, which are among the most venomous creatures in the world.
Ian is not 100% sure which species of Box Jelllyfish that stung him as it has been very hard to find info from Mauritius on them. Ian suffered as a child from allergies and had to take antihistamines on a regular basis as even a mosquito bite would cause him to swell up, so his reaction to these jellyfish stings was very bad.
His testimony relates how he clung to life while getting to hospital, was declared clinically dead soon afterwards, and how during this time he had an encounter with God, which radically changed the direction of his life.
