Now you can let it go.

Where does sadness come from when you don't understand its presence? Why is it there when you see no reason for it? Sadness itself has no control over you; it is not a separate thing. If we imagine sadness itself as something we must get rid of, let go of, or solve, then we are going about it the wrong way. Sadness is there because of something you are holding onto, something that occurred in your past, something that is still with you today. Sadness is simply attachment to something that has happened in your life that you have not yet let go of.~Sadness does not exist by itself; it is a repercussion of not letting go. When we hold onto something in our life, we sometimes manifest a deep grievance with it, and sadness develops as a result. Because sadness is attached to something that no longer exists, you can be without it; it is not really you. Even if you do not know what you are holding onto, you can still let it go. Let yourself know that it is okay to let go; it is okay to let go of whatever it is that is weighing you down and causing you to feel sad. Let yourself know you can let go of the moment that brought this on and you can let go of sadness itself.~Sometimes, when we identify ourselves by something, we have a harder time of letting it go. We are not sadness and it is not us. It is simply an attachment to something in our past which is no longer real. Envision your past as a long string that you are holding onto. This string represents the sadness that is still attached to you. Forgive it for being there, for having made you feel this way. Accept that it was with you, accept how it made you feel, and accept that it is no longer you.-Now you can let it go. It doesn't belong to you anymore and it is not real. Your past, the string, the sadness, all of it, you can let it go. Envision yourself cutting it away or simply dropping what was and how it made you feel. Sadness is you holding onto that string and your past.-To let it go, simply believe you can. When it drifts away, allow yourself to feel what is not there, the emptiness that was filled by so much sadness; feel the expanse of that openness. Now imagine you can and will fill that space with who you really are. The past, what you were attached to, and all that sadness is no longer you; you have let it go and can move on.

Clarity throughout the relationship

Sometimes we don’t look that closely at our relationships because we fear that we might realize something we don’t want to see. If we keep our understanding of each other at a superficial level, then our expectations will be met. We try not to look too closely at what may be wrong within each of us so that we can keep going along as we always have been. But people change on both sides of a relationship and clarity needs to come through; otherwise, we are hiding from the truth. How we see one another has a lot to do with how we interact and relate to one another. So if we are not seeing each other clearly, then we are not seeing the truth of where our relationship is.--It is understandable that we want our relationship to feel fine and easy; however, if we are not honest about the reality of it, then we will not be happy in the long run. Too often, relationships keep going based upon one or the others desire. If one person is not satisfied or is holding themselves back and if this goes on for too long, it can begin to feel like the relationship is not something that can be mended and that there is no solution. Honesty keeps our relationships in the open; it keeps both parties grounded within the reality of each others expectations and feelings. Often, we choose not to look too deeply because we are trying to protect ourselves from the reality of the situation. That if we did look close enough, we would realize we were not satisfied and that maybe it was time for the relationship to end.--Clarity throughout the relationship keeps it on level ground; it helps both parties realize what is happening within each others roles. By voicing your needs, sharing your ideas, and being honest, your relationship can grow rather than dissolve. Just because you haven’t looked deeply, do not be afraid, for what you find amongst what you do not want to see could also be something wonderful. When we look deeply into each other, we may find the person that we have been missing. We also need to understand that if underneath it all it still doesn’t feel right, it may be time to let the relationship go. Either way, your happiness will come through, for you may feel closer to your partner or realize that there is someone else out there for you.

We are always changing, always evolving.

Personal growth is about reaching a place that is a new you, the real you. It is about releasing parts of you that you no longer need and finding out about who you really are. To achieve any kind of growth is to find what is holding you back and then what you need to do to set it free. Becoming who you are and letting go of what is old is one step. Realizing that you can change is another. We so often hold ourselves back in life because we have accepted who we are. Whether or not we approve, we have come to believe, no matter the age, that who we are today is who we will always be. There is nothing further from the truth. In fact it is one of life’s biggest obstacles.-We are always changing, always evolving. The speed and the possibilities of it are all connected to how we see it. If you have carried a sadness with you all of your life, do you really believe it must always be there? If you have grown accustomed to a certain behavior, must it be so locked into your personality that you can never let it go? We stop changing when we believe we must. We stop when we have decided this is who we are.-Do you remember as a child that these were thoughts we never had, we were always reevaluating ourselves, bettering our assumptions, and constantly growing. As parents we are amazed at the emotional growth of a child, but it doesn’t need to stop there. Why as adults do we think it must? We can always carry ourselves forward in life as the same person or we too can constantly evolve and grow. Personal growth is realizing that we can, that we must in fact accelerate our potential by being our best, our true self, that is capable of always changing.-Any habit, fear, or emotional block we may have is only attached to an idea that has been accepted. When we choose to no longer accept the validity of this reason, we open ourselves up to growth. We give ourselves a chance to let go, to release what we have been holding onto for so long. And in the end, we are open to identifying ourselves with who we really are, not an old idea or a programmed response. We are then free to constantly change and be open to life.

From ancient times until today

The abdominal region offers relatively large movements, with obvious physical sensations that we can readily engage and follow. The nostrils and upper lip present a small, subtle, and very focused region. The narrow focus can be more difficult to acquire and maintain but enables us to quickly build up a sharp and strong attention. Global bodily awareness of breath readily supports a conscious backdrop to common daily activities. Our situation and state can guide us to the most appropriate style of practice in any given moment.-In meditation on the breath, we allow the breath to breathe itself. We do not interpose ourselves as doing the breathing, as being the one who is breathing. Consciously letting the breath breathe itself can lead to the shocking realization that our usual concept of our self is wrong, that the self we believe ourselves to be is just a collection of patterns and memories with nothing at its core. Putting this in another way: we go about our day doing many things, believing we are the doer. When we come to sitting meditation, nothing much seems to be happening other than breathing. So always believing ourselves to be the doer, we think we are the one who is breathing. But if we let the breath breathe itself, we see that there is no doer. And that insight can puncture our illusion of ego, liberating us from the notion that we are a permanent, separate self.-From ancient times until today, conscious breathing remains among the most powerful, effective, and natural methods for centering ourselves in presence and preparing our being for opening to the spirit.

Each has its advantages.

From the dawn of our birth until the sunset of death, we breathe, always and everywhere. Indeed, breath defines our life and supports us body and spirit. Besides being central to life, ever-present, and connected to the spirit, breathing involves an easily noticeable complex of physical sensations. Thus, the practice of breath awareness was widely embraced by our ancestors in the spiritual pursuit.-Breath awareness forms a subclass of the more general awareness of bodily sensations. Because the breath always moves, the sensations of the bodily movements associated with breathing remain with us continually from birth to death. The more subtle sensations of the air moving through our nasal and oral passageways also stay with us. To powerfully anchor ourselves to the present, we need only abide in the sensations of each breath, one after another without a break. Since we always breathe, we have the potential to practice breath awareness at any and every waking moment.-A word of caution, though, at the outset: in practicing breath awareness we make no change whatsoever to the physical movement of the breath. We do not attempt to slow it down, speed it up, or alter it any way. We only bring our attention and awareness to the sensations of breathing, as they are, without imposing any changes on the breath. We do not interfere with the vital function of breathing. We simply ease into awareness of it and ride along to stay present.-Such relaxed and continuous awareness of the sensations of breathing creates a sturdy and effective basis for the path of spiritual transformation. This simple method entails a direct attention to, and consciousness of, the actual physical sensations associated with breathing. We might focus on the sensations in the nostrils, the air movement across the upper lip, or the rise and fall of the abdomen and rib cage. Or we might prefer to work with awareness of all of them at once in a more global view of breathing. Each has its advantages.

The core of our being

There are times when our whole world seems to be falling apart around us, and we are not sure what to hold onto anymore. Sometimes our relationships crumble and sometimes it’s our physical environment. At other times, we can’t put our finger on it, but we feel as if all the walls have fallen down around us and we are standing with nothing to lean on, exposed and vulnerable. These are the times in our lives when we are given an opportunity to see where we have established our sense of identity, safety, and well-being. And while it is perfectly natural and part of our process to locate our sense of self in externals, any time those external factors shift, we have an opportunity to rediscover and move closer to our core, which is the only truly safe place to call home.-The core of our being is not affected by the shifting winds of circumstance or subject to the cycles of change that govern physical reality. It is as steady and consistent as the sun, which is why the great mystics and mystical poets often reference the sun in their odes to the self. Like the sun, there are times when our core seems to be inaccessible to us, but this is just a misperception. We know that when the sun goes behind a cloud or sets for the night, it has not disappeared but is simply temporarily out of sight. In the same way, we can trust that our inner core is always shining brightly, even when we cannot quite see it.-We can cling to this core when things around us are falling apart, knowing that an inexhaustible light shines from within ourselves. Times of external darkness can be a great gift in that they provide an opportunity to remember this inner light that shines regardless of the circumstances of our lives. When our external lives begin to come back together, we are able to lean a bit more lightly on the structures we used to call home, knowing more clearly than ever that our true home is that bright sun shining in our core.

The present can be challenging

Our lives are guided by natural rhythms that are particular to each of us and cannot be altered by force of will alone. Life itself is a journey made up of processes and events that manifest before us only to be swept away when time marches on. Whether we envision ourselves creating a career, building a family, or developing the self, we instinctively know when the time has come for us to realize our dreams because all that is involved comes together harmoniously. When the time is right, the passage of destiny cannot be blocked. Yet as desperate as we are to touch these beautiful futures we have imagined, we cannot grow if we are not fully present in the evolutionary experience. The present can be challenging, uncomfortable, and tedious, but life unfolds as it will, and the universe will wait patiently as we make our way into the unknown.~The fate that awaits us is not dependent on our pace, which was preordained before we ever appeared in human guise. Therefore there is no reason to rush through life to reach those pinnacles of development associated with the paths we have chosen. Enjoying and fully experiencing the journey of life is as important as achieving goals and reaching milestones. There are lessons we can learn during those moments that seem immaterial or insignificant that we cannot learn at any other time. Appreciating these takes patience, however, because human beings tend to focus on the fulfillment of expectations rather than the simple joys of being.~Like many people, you have no doubt longed for a device that would give you the power to fast forward through certain periods of your existence. Yet haste is by its very nature vastly more stressful than serene fortitude. When you feel yourself growing impatient because the pace of your development is deceptively slow, remember that everything that will occur in your life will occur in its own time. Quelling your urge to rush will enable you to witness yourself learning, changing, and becoming stronger. There is so much to see and do in between the events and processes that we deem definitive. If you are patient enough to take pleasure in your existence's unfolding, the journey from one pinnacle to the next will seem to take no time at all.

Accessing Freedom Within ~ Wesak 2015

The Wesak Festival of 2015 is now upon us. On May 3rd, 2015 we will be experiencing the full effects of this enormous event as we have been preparing spiritually as Initiates on the Pathway of Mastery for the past month.

Wesak represents a time of great renewal and growth as the energetic exchange within the planet accelerates creating a “Force of Enlightenment”.

We are at a huge crossroads within this year as the frequencies of Light that represent the Wesak Moon will bring forth great change into the hearts and minds of all people around the planet. It is a time in which the Ascended Masters and all Initiates gather together in Spirit within Shamballa to celebrate the ascension of Lord Buddha, our Planetary Logos. During these powerful moments all Initiates, Ascended Masters, and Light Beings will step into a new existence within their consciousness and world. It is considered the most powerful energy within the planet.

2015 Wesak represents Strength, Peace, and Love for each person inhabited upon Gaia’s planet which will allow the accessibility of Accepting Freedom Within.

This means that all of the preparation that we have done throughout the year brings us to a culmination of energies to be created within Shamballa that will be reverberated throughout the planet. Last month we experience the Festival of the Christ that meant in the past 30 days we have been “resurrecting” all elements that cannot exist within the Wesak energies as each person is guided to step into a higher part of their consciousness; whether they are aware of these energies physically or not is their choice.

As an Initiate, it is a choice to celebrate the frequencies of light through coming together with others and connecting with the Spiritual Hierarchy of the God Force, Divine Mother and Father God within the Unified Whole Command in Oneness.

We, at Walking Terra Christa, truly look forward to this time each year, as it is a powerful celebration of each person’s spirit becoming more manifest within the physical world. It is helping us to acknowledge the work we have done to get to this space and time while allowing us to ground the energies within GAIA so that we will walk into the New Earth.

What happens through this process for an individual that connects to the Ceremonial Magic that is occurring?

Individuals will feel it differently depending upon their own growth cycle, their initiation pathway, and how they integrate it within their physical consciousness.

The reasons behind this event are guided through the entire God Force; the purpose is represented within the concept of stimulating the Spirit of Love, Brotherhood, and Goodwill. It allows each Initiate to fuse together the essence of Goodwill with each other, which represents the Oneness in a responsive and integrated circle of light. Lastly, the invocations that are stated allow for a response from the Cosmic Beings of Light as we work together cohesively to attain the goals desired – Creating the New Earth.

It is a time in which our accelerations will increase substantially. The entire God Force is readying for this magnificent event just as each of us on Earth are doing the same. It is a time when each soul rises to a new way of existence within their consciousness and their lives.

The essence of Buddha represents the Wisdom of God. The Heart of God is very prevalent for Wesak providing Divine Understanding that can reach individuals with the love and service to their fellowman. The Ray of Love and Wisdom is then ignited representing the expression of Illumination of the Higher Mind. The ray essences that are prevalent during Wesak are represented within the Blue Flame of the Will of God with the Pink Flame of the Love of God, and the Gold representing the Power all igniting the Three-Fold Flame Within each individual.

The Initiate's Responsibility for Wesak 2015

Master Djwhal Khul shares his message on the Wesak energies for 2015 along with the responsibilities of being on the Mastery Pathway as requested by the Spiritual Hierarchy for a powerful and fulfilling Wesak experience.

Greetings,

It is my pleasure to walk with each of you during this fabulous time of existence ~ Wesak ~ is now upon us for 2015.

I am Master Djwhal Khul at your service.

The Wesak energies this year is beyond what any of us within the Spiritual Hierarchy could imagine. The power of the frequencies of Light is taking humanity into a new form of existence. I believe that each of you probably understands what the phase of “resurrection” has meant to you. Now, we go into the next journey that allows each of us to expand our horizons, so to speak.

As we step into the element of acceleration, the four-body system must go through a process of elimination depending upon the inner work that you have been doing. It happens every year and in fact, you feel it each month upon the full moon. It is the process of rebirth and is a necessary element in order to grow through the changes. It represents the flow of life, in and out. It is not always an easy process but very necessary.

2015 has represented a year of great change. In order to accept the elements of Freedom within your consciousness, you must get to know what it is like to suffer and be challenged. Otherwise, there is no conceptual knowledge of what being free represents for you. It allows each person to understand that what they were before is not who they are in the present moment.

GAIA has been in a state of inertia for many eons of time. The planet has held the concept of control and the masculine energies of the mental mind to be the controlling factor. So she has sat and waited until a time would come that humanity would awaken to a higher level of existence. This would not just be with the Ascended Masters (that learned they needed to wake up) but in all of humanity.

This year represents those energies. People are arising to the fact that they must be more conscious to the self-imposing thoughts that hold them back from their higher realities. So individuals are slowly awakening to the process of mastery but not the level that we, of the ascended beings, would like to see.

So each of you that have awakened, and have stepped into the role of wanting to be a master of your destiny are being challenged to be more. You are very much like we were in the times of Atlantis and Lemuria, but yet there were not enough of us. It was a time when we could not hold the higher essence of energies within the earth plane due to the duality that had arrived. Now you are at a juncture of time in which you have stepped into the initiation process to clear what has been wrong while knowing there is so much more for you to do.

We are here to do it with you, each of the Ascended Beings of Light, but yet, know we have the frequencies of the Unified Whole in which the Brotherhood of Light has accepted into their world. Each of us represents these energies of Oneness so that it can be expanded unto each of you as we walk together unto the New Earth.

Until that time arrives, great work needs to be done. The role that you have chosen is truly not easy, but is attainable. GAIA is changing with the energetic frequencies and each of you is holding these essences to help you become what you have always know you can be. But great work must be done until that time arrives for each of you personally, and individually.

This is why the Wesak energies are so expansive and alluring. There are more people upon the planet at this time that is aware of this event. This means that there will be more frequencies within GAIA that will assist in this process.

As the commanding energies of Lord Buddha comes forth to command the Christed Self within the planet, each of you stand with each of us, as we arise together towards a new stage of our existence. You, being the Initiates of the Earth, will be asked to ground these frequencies so your job is more challenging to hold than ours. But you are not alone.

In reference to the Festival of the Christ and the resurrecting energies that resulting in the last 30 days each of you that desire to be more, has achieved more just because of what you are doing within your spiritual world. If you are not as diligent as you would like to be, then the energies will intertwine within your Being, twisting you in many directions until you stop and allow the change to occur. One cannot step unto this pathway and not feel the change. But if you try to stop, the experience will become more filled with obstacles. You have awakened to be the Master of the New Earth, so it is very important that you take this pathway very seriously.

The changes that you are feeling is not just because of GAIA, it is due to the acceleration of the planets coming into alignment and everything else must be connected to those energies. It is not an easy process by any means but each of you is doing it to the best of your abilities.

There is always more than can be done.

My message to you at this time is do not ignore the energies of Wesak. Prepare yourself to walk through the next doorway as you have a deep responsibility to do so. You may not even realize how important this pathway is for your soul’s growth and commitment to the Earth. So that is why I am here in this moment sharing with you my essence and the desire to see each of you achieve the very best within your life.

Make a commitment to connect with others for the Wesak energies. It does not matter if it is in person or long distance, but it is very important to allow these frequencies of light to exist in your world.

Some may say that what I am about to say is not something a master would share, but in truth, you must decide for yourself.

I work with Walking Terra Christa and Rev. Meleriessee and Rev. Aranathanara to bring forth the highest information possible. It is my role with them presently. It is a new job for both of us which takes great diligence to provide this information and availability of connection through the waves of dimensions for Meleriessee. We work very hard on the Inner Plane with each other to make sure the information they provide is within the truth of the God Force.

In prior channelings I had shared that there would come a time within the energies of the New Earth that I would step forward and work with chosen individual(s). I want to tell you that Rev. Meleriessee and Rev. Aranatharna are these individuals that I have chosen.

What they administer to others is unmarked by anyone else on this planet. Meleriessee has achieved her own ascension and chooses to stay on this planet to assist others. Aranathanara is doing the same with great sacrifices. This is what it takes to be an Ascended Master within a physical body.

I ask of you, “Can you take 3 hours out of your day on May 3^rd to be part of these frequencies and join Walking Terra Christa with others to connect with the Masters in Shamballa along with Lord Buddha?”

I know that attending this ceremony will assist each individual that chooses to participate as it allows each of us in the God Force to work with each of you more directly. This is the energetic exchange that Rev. Meleriessee brings forth. It will be unmatched by anything else that you experience and will allow your essence to stand with each of the Ascended Beings of Light within Shamballa.

I also want to share that a Spiritual Donation is required because the work that they do is guided by the God Force. I stand by this statement of saying that a small donation will show a statement of faith by your physical essence to receive the highest quality of energetic exchange. It is not the money itself, but the act that represents the Universal Law of Abundance. Ideally, this is why they are requiring a very small donation as low as $11 to attend this ceremony but in return, you will receive so much more.

This represents the movement,

“Yes, I am an Initiate, and I want to be acknowledged by others. I know that this is an energetic exchange and I want the Ascended Masters, especially Lord Melchizedek to acknowledge I am serious about my Pathway of Initiations.”

I share this information not because of the donation but the seriousness of exchange on the mastery pathway. Many individuals feel that all this work should be free; but yet, those individuals probably are not serious about the spiritual growth. This represents the lower ego and that energy should be free. But when a person who has achieved what both Meleriessee and Aranathanara have acquired, it has taken years of work, learning, and growing through the process of their initiations. They have chosen to do this work to help every living person who wants to achieve more to be able to do so.

This is why I work with them; not because I feel they are special, as they are. But because, I see the steps they have taken to do this work and no others upon the planet can do it as I choose to command it to be. We are partners and I applaud what they are trying to create upon this Earth.

I want to see the same for each of you. Wesak is a ceremony that should not be missed by any initiate. I am happy to see the growth of the planet that events such as this can be experienced through tele-communications as it is helping to connect people all around the world.

This, I would say, is “Freedom Within.”

We will emerge transformed

In life, most of us want things to go to the places we have envisioned ourselves going. We have plans and visions, some of them divinely inspired, that we want to see through to completion. We want to be happy, successful, and healthy, all of which are perfectly natural and perfectly human. So when life takes us to places we didn’t consciously want to go, we often feel as if something has gone wrong, or we must have made a mistake somewhere along the line, or any number of other disheartening possibilities. This is just life’s way of taking us to a place we need to go for reasons that go deeper than our own ability to reason. These hard knocks and trials are designed to shed light on our unconscious workings and deepen our experience of reality.--Often it takes something major to wake us up, to shake us loose from our ego’s grip as it struggles to maintain an illusion of control. It is loss of control more than anything else that humbles us and enables us to see the big picture. It reminds us that the key to the universe lies in what we do not know, and what we do know is a small fraction of the great mystery in which we live. This awareness softens and lightens us, as we release our resistance to what is. Another gift gleaned from going to these seemingly undesirable places is that, in our response to difficulty, we can see all the patterns and unresolved emotional baggage that stand in the way of our unconditional joyfulness. Joy exists within us independently of whether things go our way or not. And when we don’t feel it, we can trust that we will find it if we are willing to surrender to the situation, moving through it as we move through our difficult feelings.--We can take our inspiration from any fairy tale that finds its central character lost in a dark wood, frightened and alone. We know that the journey through the wood provides its own kind of beauty and richness. On the other side, we will emerge transformed, lighter and brighter, braver and more confident for having moved through that darkness.

Everything about your contentment

Do you feel like you are not fully you? Like you are holding yourself back, waiting for something to change about where you are and what you do? Are you overburdened by the day to day stuff that has extended into being your whole life? Is this how it is supposed to be, does it really feel like it? You know the answer is no, there is more but what is it? There is a balance between your duty to job, family, even life and what you really are meant for.Do not let all that you are compelled to do every day override you as a person. This life, your life, this very moment is yours. It doesn’t belong to anyone else. When you feel overwhelmed, is it from what you feel other people’s expectations are of you? When you are fully engaged in yourself and doing what is right for you, the balance will come out. Do no put yourself second in life. You only have the very moment you are in to make it better. Do not wait until tomorrow to connect and see what you need, do not put yourself off. You and your happiness are the most important.Everything about your contentment will spill outward, to your family, job and life. Bring yourself into the front of the equation. Do what you need in the moment you are in; otherwise, discontentment will follow and affect all around you. It may seem hard or impossible to put yourself first. How can it be done? Remember, it is your life. With that in mind allow a little escape to find balance for yourself. What do you need to feel more at peace and content on a day to day basis? Is it silence for a moment, a walk alone, saying no and doing something for yourself? Start small and grow into big, give yourself the gift of beginning.You are not here to please everyone else; you are here to live the best life you can. So start doing it; it is okay to let go for a moment and realize you can do something for you. Give yourself the time and space to find balance and what you need. Seek it out and reward yourself by doing it. Again, it will benefit all if you are happier but most of all the affect will be for you.

Inside of you is the power to be everything

A lack of confidence is caused by the idea that we need something more to be who we are. Yet we already are everything we are meant to be. The lack of confidence comes from not believing this. It is seeing yourself through clouded eyes and not believing in your potential as it already is. Each of us is fully capable in life to handle everything, to cope and go forward, and to be the best we can be. Yet we tend to think otherwise, to talk ourselves out of it and out of our own potential in life. We are all equal, it is only ourselves that we choose to bring down and not believe in.~Inside of you is the power to be everything you are meant to be; it is not hiding from you and you were not born without it. It is real and is part of you. Your strength and potential to be everything you are is within you. Again, it is we who talk ourselves out of it and convince ourselves that we can’t or that we are no good. Why? Because we believe we lack the ability to think otherwise, not because it is true. It is this empty belief that is in the way of our potential. We are all created the same, yet unique, and each of us holds the ability to be everything we wish.~A lack of confidence is just a misguided and uninformed part of you that has yet to see the truth. The ability, energy, and power to be and do everything you wish are already there inside of you. It is about you choosing to unlock this potential, to believe in yourself and all your capabilities, that brings it forward. Your confidence in yourself plays such a big part in your happiness. You can open up to who you really are. It is completely possible. It is just as simple as you choosing to see yourself with honesty. Why ignore all that you are? There is so much depth and beauty to who you already are right now. Why not let yourself and the world see the real you, your true self?~All of us have confidence, it is simply whether one chooses to use it or believe otherwise. You have the potential and only you can be who you are. Only you can believe in yourself, your worth, and all that you are meant for. Only you can choose to live your life at your best and by believing in yourself you can.

If you do not have time

How do you create a new friendship and find someone who fits you and connects with you? It can feel hard, for if your job doesn’t provide that kind of openness or availability with others, then where do you look? Begin by finding a way to do what you like. If you are doing what you love, you open the door to finding others who like what you do. Hang out in situations that reflect the real you. Join a program or a club that fits who you are and that you enjoy. If you do not have time or energy for too much, then set aside even one day a week to find something you enjoy and do it. Create moments during your week or day that provide you with satisfaction and create happiness in you.

What is it you really like or want to do? Find a way to schedule it into your day or week. Even if it is only stopping at a shop or strolling through a park, these could provide opportunities to meet others. While you are doing what you love, try to be open to others. Make eye contact and smile at those around you. Because you are doing what you love, you will feel better and more confident, and this is the right time to meet someone new. The people around you already have something in common with you because they share your interests.

Sometimes when we ask for guidance

Anyone who has asked for divine guidance knows that it can be challenging to trust it when it comes. This is because divine guidance comes in many forms and it is sometimes hard to locate it. We aren’t sure if we are meant to trust our thoughts, our feelings, our dreams, or our intuitions to be the carriers of divine wisdom. We are not sure if advice from a friend is the form in which the guidance has come into the world, or if our own opinion is the source of wisdom we need to take seriously. The ability to sort all this out comes with trial and error, and the best way to learn to recognize divine guidance is to engage in the process of asking and receiving.Sometimes when we ask for guidance, we already have a sense of what we want to hear. At such times, receiving guidance can be difficult, because we don’t want to hear anything that appears to be in opposition to our desire. Therefore, one of the most important qualities we need to cultivate if we are to receive guidance is an open mind. It helps to acknowledge what we want, and then to symbolically set it aside, making room for whatever wisdom comes through to us.Cultivating an active relationship with the divine is the essential ingredient to being able to receive and trust guidance when it comes our way. We can make a daily practice of this by using a set of runes, a deck of cards, or a pendulum. We can also use our journals, developing a relationship with the divine through the written word.As we request and receive guidance, we might take notes on our experiences. Over time we will begin to recognize when we were able to hear correctly and when we were not. In this way, we will gradually attune ourselves to our particular relationship with the divine. Begin to trust the guidance you are receiving and soon you will find it flowing with ease.

So when we find ourselves on our path

We spend a lot of our lives looking for role models, mentors, teachers, to guide us on our path. There is nothing wrong with this and, in fact, finding the right person at the right time can really help. However, it is important to realize that in the absence of such a figure, we can very safely rely upon ourselves. We carry within us everything we need to know to make progress on our paths to self-realization. The outer world serves as a mirror. Or to use another metaphor, our inner world has a magnetic force that draws to us what we need to evolve to the next level. All we need to do to see that we already have everything we need is to let go of our belief that we need to seek in order to find.The path of the spirit is often defined as a journey with a goal such as the fabled pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. In this metaphor, a person begins a search for something they want but do not have and then they find it, and there is a happy ending. However, most of us know that getting what we want only makes us happy for a moment, and then the happiness passes until a new object of desire presents itself. Joy is a permanent aspect of our inner selves and is not separate from us at any point. We do not have to travel to find it or imagine that it resides only in the body of another. In fact, what the best teachers will do is point out that this very precious elixir is something we already possess.So when we find ourselves on our path, not knowing which way to turn and wishing for guidance, we can turn to ourselves. We may not know the right answer rationally or intellectually, but if we simply ask, let go, and wait patiently, an answer will come. The more we practice this and trust this process, the less we will look outside ourselves for teachers and guides for we will have successfully become our own.

We are always changing

Personal growth is about reaching a place that is a new you, the real you. It is about releasing parts of you that you no longer need and finding out about who you really are. To achieve any kind of growth is to find what is holding you back and then what you need to do to set it free. Becoming who you are and letting go of what is old is one step. Realizing that you can change is another. We so often hold ourselves back in life because we have accepted who we are. Whether or not we approve, we have come to believe, no matter the age, that who we are today is who we will always be. There is nothing further from the truth. In fact it is one of life’s biggest obstacles.-We are always changing, always evolving. The speed and the possibilities of it are all connected to how we see it. If you have carried a sadness with you all of your life, do you really believe it must always be there? If you have grown accustomed to a certain behavior, must it be so locked into your personality that you can never let it go? We stop changing when we believe we must. We stop when we have decided this is who we are.-Do you remember as a child that these were thoughts we never had, we were always reevaluating ourselves, bettering our assumptions, and constantly growing. As parents we are amazed at the emotional growth of a child, but it doesn’t need to stop there. Why as adults do we think it must? We can always carry ourselves forward in life as the same person or we too can constantly evolve and grow. Personal growth is realizing that we can, that we must in fact accelerate our potential by being our best, our true self, that is capable of always changing.-Any habit, fear, or emotional block we may have is only attached to an idea that has been accepted. When we choose to no longer accept the validity of this reason, we open ourselves up to growth. We give ourselves a chance to let go, to release what we have been holding onto for so long. And in the end, we are open to identifying ourselves with who we really are, not an old idea or a programmed response. We are then free to constantly change and be open to life.

You Can't Shut Out the Light When the Curtains Are Open

The alarm goes off. You press the snooze button and you lie there, listening to the seconds tick-tick-ticking in your head, knowing that they won't go away.

The bright sunshine streams through your windows and across your face, nudging you to rise to the occasion. But you're struggling. You don't really want to awaken, you tell yourself. You enjoyed the comfort of the darkness, where you didn't have to come to action, or reaction.

But the curtains are open, Lightworker, and it was you who opened them. It was you who felt the inner stirrings to help, to serve. It was you who finally found your purpose. So you can't shut out all the light, now that you're beaming with good intentions.

Are you beginning to doubt yourself? Are you wondering how you got into all this Lightworker mess? After all, who are you to proclaim yourself a Lightworker? Who are you to say you are a healer? What makes you so special?

Well, you can choose to pull the covers right over your head but eventually you will have to come out and greet the sunshine. And you will have to face a few more important facts about your Lightworker status, like how you're going to have to do a lot of forgiving.

But let's not go there yet.

I'm a Lightworker, too, and it took me over a half century to even say that out loud because I was afraid it would sound egotistical, almost as bad as proclaiming I was Mother Teresa. My own Lightworker story has been one long journey plagued with anger, fear, tears and doubt. Miraculously, all my traumatic experiences finally led me to becoming a color therapist, spiritual aromatherapist and teacher. I spent many years questioning my Catholicism, wondering why I never felt peace and joy when I came out of mass and believing there had to be something more. When I was a teenager in the early '70s, musicals like "Godspell" and "Jesus Christ Superstar" were popular and I found that they stirred something very strong within me--hope…and shame, mostly.

At the time, my family life was very difficult and so I escaped the madness by hanging out at a coffee house for teenagers called "The Back Door", which was basically a large room connected to our Catholic church. This is where I played my guitar and sang "Day By Day" and it was dark and lit only with black-light posters and I felt safe there, like I was in a womb. This was also the time I began reading the Seth books and The Magic of Believing by Claude Bristol. That book made a great impact on me and was my introduction to creative visualization, although I now realize I had practiced it all my life.

My "Jesus Loves You" period was short-lived after some family members ridiculed me, saying I was only pretending to be pious and so I spent the rest of my teens being angry at God and my agnosticism lasted throughout my twenties. Occasionally, there would be a friend who would try to get me involved in a bible study group--or even the Mormons or the Hari Krishnas--but I didn't want any part of it. I felt God had abandoned me--if He even existed at all--and I was so angry that I wouldn't listen to religious Christmas carols during the holidays or even allow a nativity scene or an angel ornament on my Christmas tree.

I would love to tell you that one day a beautiful angel appeared to me and there was harp music as she told me I was loved and had to change my evil ways, and that's when I began my great spiritual journey. But my awakening was nothing that dramatic, although I do work with angels now. Actually, the most significant thing I can remember is the day I purchased You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. I was about 30 then. Louise talked a lot about self-love and forgiveness, two things I desperately wanted--and sorely needed. Her book represented a turning point in my life, as did books by Sonia Choquette, Denise Linn and Doreen Virtue, which helped me improve my self-esteem and accept my healing and intuitive abilities.

For the past 30 years, I have been working on the self-love and forgiveness. And how not to be a victim. Not the easiest things to learn, I can tell you. But I've read a lot, listened a lot and now I'm almost 60 and I feel happy because I know I am clearly on the right path. It's not the same path as yours, it's my path. And it feels right. It feels true. And I know that I am forgiven of all my sins (yes, all of them) and I am very loved.

So now we get to the forgiveness part, and if this thought makes you cringe, I completely understand. Forgiving someone for doing you wrong is difficult. (After all, people write songs about it.) We get angry. We kick, we scream, we cry. We withdraw. And sometimes we just want to punch someone. Well, these are all natural emotions so you need to forgive yourself for thinking this way. But I guarantee that once you learn to forgive and fully accept your inner Lightworker, everything will soon fall into place.

As you're growing accustomed to your Lightworker wings, you may find yourself turning to an "expert" for solace. That's fine. Whether a self-help author or spiritual guru, these people have inspired you and their truth may indeed seem like your truth. But please do not make the mistake in believing they are infallible. They are human, too, and they are experiencing their own personal journey. So yes, learn from them but refrain from worshipping them because here's the plain truth: you already have the answers within.

Yes, you are a Lightworker. Yes, the time is now. So arise, you Sleepyhead--and awaken to your calling!

Flow Like Water

President John F. Kennedy once said, "We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea−whether it is to sail or to watch−we are going back from whence we came."

And we do go back to the waters. In fact, water therapy (also known as hydrotherapy) has been practiced for healing and rejuvenation purposes since the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Rome and Greece. Hippocrates, the great Greek physician known as the “father of modern medicine”, prescribed bathing in spring water as treatment for many ailments: "The effect of water on health must not be forgotten," he wrote.

In ancient times, magnificent public baths were erected in towns and cities and even today people flock to healing centers like the Baden-Baden spa in Germany or to the famous healing spring in Lourdes, France, where Mother Mary was said to have appeared in 1858.

Most of us don’t remember our watery experience in the womb, so (unless we are being groomed as Olympic swimmers from birth) our first contact with water is usually when we were given our first bath. Mine must have been a pleasant experience for I was one of those water babies who never wanted to leave the bathtub, especially when Mom made it more extra fun with a few floating toys and Mr. Bubble!

As I grew older, my love for the water continued and I remember spending many summers either wading in a plastic, blow-up baby pool in the backyard or hanging out with friends at the gigantic community pool. I sure loved that water slide!

I am blessed to live in The Ocean State of Rhode Island (where we have over 400 miles of scenic coastline) and whenever my spirit needs renewal I return to the seashore, strolling the beaches to collect unusual shells and seaglass. I love watching the seagulls dive-bomb into the ocean for fish and I love the sensation of digging my toes into the wet, squishy sand as the salty waves lick at my feet.

So I’ve always been drawn to the sea, but I never really thought of it as magical until one day I heard Laarkmaa discussing the magic of water on a radio show. Laarkmaa are the loving Pleaidean beings who are channelled by the husband and wife team of Cullen Baird Smith and Dr. Pia Smith Orleane.

As beautifully depicted in the famous Botticelli painting, The Birth of Venus, we know that the sea represents the creation of life. In science class, we were taught that we cannot survive without water and that our bodies are made up mostly of water. But what you may not realize, says Laarkmaa, is that we all have the ability to communicate and travel through the magnetic frequency of our bodies’ of water. Apparently, we used to know how to do this, but we have long forgotten.

In order to clean up the pollution of our planet’s water, Laarkmaa encourages us to clean up the pollution within ourselves by banning negative thoughts, words and deeds. They tell us we should also avoid consuming unhealthy foods and beverages.

Dr. Masaru Emoto’s fascinating work with water crystals confirms Laarkmaa’s teachings. As seen in the movie, What The Bleep Do We Know?, the Japanese scientist opened our minds to the hidden messages in water through his experiments with prayer and music and writing words like “love and gratitude” or “hate” to show how water reacts to our positive and negative emotions.

I have experienced the power of water firsthand. One day I realized I needed to stop trying to change the bad habits of all the negative and abusive people in my life. So I sought one of my favorite healing oracles, Aura-Soma. This is the amazing dual color therapy system founded by Vicki Wall in England, comprised of water, oil, color, crystal and plant energies.

With hundreds of bottles to choose from, my heart called for Equilibrium #75, also known as (believe it or not) “Go With The Flow”. I love its message and its striking color combination: a vibrant Magenta top layer over a cooler Turquoise.

If you’re familiar with color therapy, you know that Magenta helps us see Divine Beauty in all things, while Turquoise promotes clarity, community and communication. By applying the Magenta/Turquoise contents and practicing affirmations daily, I no longer felt like a victim. Because my intentions were strong, my “Go With The Flow” regime freed me to “lighten up” and let go.

There’s an old saying, “Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.” It means that while we are focused on getting rid of the negativity, we don’t want to lose sight of our blessings. I believe Equilibrium #75 contributed to my personal rebirth, my awakening. It enabled me to see and appreciate all the positive things in my life and to not worry so much about the negative ones.

To me, the messages in the colored water were crystal clear: Be persistent to achieve your goals. Flow like water and you’ll rise higher than you ever dreamed, flooding Life’s obstacles with ease!

Just BLOOM

A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms.

From the moment we are slapped on our newborn behinds, we are in constant competition. The prettiest baby. The oldest twin. The smartest student. The fastest runner. The first to graduate college. The first to get married. The first to have a baby. The first to own a vacation house. The most successful novelist. The list goes on and on.

Even the most trivial of pursuits, like who can eat their dinner and get away from the table first or guess the exact amount of jelly beans in a jar are turned into a diehard competition. Society is always watching, always judging and we are urged, cajoled, humiliated and even threatened to continue this bad yet widely acceptable behavior.

If you were to channel-surf, you'd find that television networks thrive on competition. Their motives seem obvious from the aggressive food commercials, insurance commercials, game shows, survival shows, cooking shows, fashion shows, pageant shows--heck, even the cartoons pit characters against the other.

Despite what we’ve been taught, Life is not a race, it’s a journey.

If I were an alien visiting this planet, I might think that the human race is IN a race--not to love one another--but to win the title of "best", "biggest" or "most". And we continue to perpetuate these actions as “normal”. But at what cost?

Detractors would say there’s nothing wrong with a little "healthy" competition. Trying to beat the other guy helps build character, it’s part of the human experience and challenges us to be better so that we might achieve the ultimate prize--that shiny brass ring or fatted calf or whatever we think should be our great reward for a job well done.

Derek Rydall, author of There’s No Business Like Soul Business, says that “when you align yourself with the principal of oneness, get out of the game of competition and into the flow of cooperation, you are in league with the intimate power of the Universe.” Rydall adds that competition has caused “more greed, violence, poverty and destruction than almost any other force on the planet.”

From what I’ve seen, competition impales one’s self-esteem. (Kids who were always chosen last for playground games know exactly what I mean.) It is the premise of wars and hate, but it also stems from fear, from believing that if we don’t compete, we will lose at this game of Life. We won’t have enough. There will be lack. And we are dearly afraid of that.

Truth is, there is more than enough abundance for everybody, so why let fear get the best of us?

Let's get off this rivalry rollercoaster now and promote unity instead of duality! Here are eight simple choices for writers who wish to be more mindful with their thoughts and words:

1) Stop judging people--those you know and those you’ve only read about. Accept them as they are.

2) Avoid watching anything on television which promotes competition. If this means the only entertainment available is to write or read a book, well, why not?

3) Teach your children not to judge, but to discern with an open heart. Help them understand and accept the differences of others. Everyone has something valuable to contribute.

4) Choose your words wisely. Write articles to build hope and offer positive solutions to your reader's problems.

5) Abstain from people-bashing in articles, blogs and social media.

6) Refuse to post book reviews which condemn or criticize an author's published work.

7) Bless your fellow writers and businesses and support the success of everyone.

8) Reject all challenges to compete--just BLOOM!

By holding onto our anger instead of forgiving

Forgiving someone after they have hurt you is the best and only option you have to release what happened. Forgiving something that happened in your past is also another way to let it go and move on. Forgiveness is a powerful tool that is often left abandoned, for we often choose to instead condemn the past and the people that hurt us by staying mad and angry. When we choose to hold onto anger and resentment instead of forgiving, we create a host of problems for ourselves. We change how we interact, how we perceive the world around us, and how we think and feel. By holding onto our anger instead of forgiving, we are living that emotion instead of peace and happiness.When we forgive, we let go not only of what happened, but we let go of the anger as well. We allow ourselves to move on and feel better. We may think that since we feel so much pain that we are justified in staying mad. When we forgive, we also let go of the pain, for it no longer represents anything. Forgiveness is very powerful tool for you because of how it can make you feel. You are more important than anything that has happened, and how you feel today is more important than any anger you want to hold onto. Every moment creates the next moment and how you feel. If you release something and forgive, then the next moment that follows will find you happier and more at peace.
