Iron Man 'carved from meteorite'

A mysterious Buddhist statue with a history that sounds like an Indiana Jones movie plot has extraterrestrial origins, researchers have discovered.

The 1,000-year-old artefact, stolen from Tibet by Nazi scientists in 1938, is carved from a meteorite.

Weighing 22lb, the statue known as the Iron Man is believed to portray Vaisravana, one of the Four Heavenly Kings in Buddhist mythology.

A large swastika in the centre of the 24 centimetre-tall figure may have enticed the German expedition leaders, who were supported by Nazi SS chief Heinrich Himmler. Swastikas decorate many Buddhist and Hindu statues. The ancient symbol was adopted by the Nazis, who modified it into a mirror-image form. Himmler believed the origins of the Aryan race could be found in Tibet.

The German expedition team, consisting of SS members, was headed by zoologist and ethnologist Ernst Schafer.

Precisely how the statue was found is unclear, but after being transported to Germany it became part of a private collection in Munich. Scientists were only able to study it after an auction in 2007.

Experts led by Dr Elmar Buchner, from the University of Stuttgart, analysed samples of the figure and found it was made of ataxite - a rare class of iron meteorite.

"The statue was chiselled from a fragment of the Chinga meteorite which crashed into the border areas between Mongolia and Siberia about 15,000 years ago," Dr Buchner said. "While the first debris was officially discovered in 1913 by gold prospectors, we believe that this individual meteorite fragment was collected many centuries before."

Details of the analysis are published in the journal Meteoritics and Planetary Science.

"The Iron Man statue is the only known illustration of a human figure to be carved into a meteorite, which means we have nothing to compare it to when assessing value," Dr Buchner said. "Its origins alone may value it at 20,000 dollars (£12,400). However, if our estimation of its age is correct and it is nearly 1,000 years old, it could be invaluable."

Howard Garrett, also known as The Dirt Doctor, has compiled a number of uses for vinegar, including recipes for both internal use and use in your organic garden, which I will share with you here.

"Vinegar is a wonderful organic tool that was discovered by accident 10,000 years ago when wine was accidentally allowed to ferment too long and turned sour," he writes.

"It can be made from many products, including beer, apples, berries, beets, corn, fruits, grains, honey, malt, maple syrup, melons, molasses, potatoes, rice, sorghum, and other foods containing sugar.

Natural sugars from these food products are fermented into alcohol, which is then fermented into vinegar."

The product label will identify the starting ingredients, such as 'apple cider vinegar' or 'wine vinegar.' Malt vinegar is made from the fermentation of barley malt or other cereal grains. Sugar vinegar is made from sugar, syrup, or molasses.

White, spirit, or distilled vinegar is made by fermenting distilled alcohol. Distilled white vinegar is made from 190 proof alcohol that is fermented by adding sugar and living bacteria.

... Vinegar that is made from the petroleum derivative, 99 percent acetic acid, is not acceptable in an organic program."

The name "vinegar" comes from the French words for "sour wine." But it's important to realize that not all vinegars are created equally. Some can benefit your health when taken internally, while others should only be used for tasks such as cleaning, or horticultural purposes, while others are best avoided altogether.

White Vinegar—A Great Non-Toxic Cleaner and Herbicide Ingredient

Distilled white vinegar is the type of vinegar you'll want to use for cleaning and laundry. Toward the end of this article, I'll also share Garrett's recipe for a non-toxic weed killer formula, which calls for white vinegar. Vinegar and water makes an excellent window cleaner, for example, and vinegar combined with hydrogen peroxide works exceptionally well as both a disinfectant and sanitizer.

According to Garrett:

"Sprinkling white vinegar atop a dusting of baking soda is terrific for cleaning sinks, tubs, tile floors and other surfaces. For cleaning, it can be diluted with water as much as 50-50. For the herbicide, it should be used full strength. In all cases, the products to buy in this category are true vinegars made by distilling grain alcohol. For the purists, there is organic white vinegar made from corn."

Avoid 20% Vinegar

Garrett warns against using 20 percent vinegar, which is made from 99 percent glacial ascetic acid, stating it's far stronger than you'd ever really need, in addition to being overly expensive. Perhaps more importantly, this type of vinegar is actually a petroleum derivative, which is dangerous to breathe and can be damaging to your eyes and skin.

"One final warning is that some of the 10 percent vinegars being sold to naïve organic gardeners are the fake 20 percent product that has been cut with water. Proper vinegars should have on the label that they are made from distilled grain alcohol or other similar language indicating natural products from distilling," Garrett warns.

Apple Cider Vinegar—Good for Your Health

The cider vinegars, made from fermenting fruits such as apples, have little value as cleaners or herbicides. Instead, these are the types of vinegar associated with a number of different health benefits when taken internally. There are two basic categories of cider vinegars:

• Regular apple cider vinegar
• Organic apple cider vinegar with the "mother" included

When purchasing an apple cider vinegar, you'll want to avoid the perfectly clear, "sparkling clean" varieties you commonly see on grocery store shelves. Instead, you want organic, unfiltered, unprocessed apple cider vinegar, which is murky and brown. When you try to look through it, you will notice a cobweb-like substance floating in it. This is known as "mother," and it indicates your vinegar is of good quality. While it may look suspicious at first, in this case, it's the murky looking stuff you want. As with everything else, the more processed a food is, the less nutritious it is, and this holds true for apple cider vinegar.

Surprisingly enough, while apple cider vinegar has historically been prized for its health benefits, little research has been done to evaluate its therapeutic actions. However, lack of scientific studies is a common problem for many natural and alternative therapies.

Perhaps the most researched and the most promising of apple cider vinegar's benefits are in the area of type 2 diabetes. Several studies have found that vinegar may help lower blood glucose levels. In 2004, a study cited in the American Diabetes Foundation's publication Diabetes Care1 found that taking vinegar before meals significantly increased insulin sensitivity and dramatically reduced the insulin and glucose spikes that occur after meals. The study involved 29 people, divided into three groups:

1. One third had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
2. One third had prediabetic signs.
3. One third were healthy.

The results were quite significant:

• All three groups had better blood glucose readings with the vinegar than with the placebo.
• People with prediabetic symptoms benefitted the most from the vinegar, cutting their blood glucose concentrations by nearly half.
• People with diabetes improved their blood glucose levels by 25 percent with vinegar.
• People with prediabetic symptoms had lower blood glucose than the healthy participants after both drank vinegar.

A follow-up study geared at testing vinegar's long-term effects yielded an unexpected but pleasant side effect: moderate weight loss. In this study, participants taking two tablespoons of vinegar prior to two meals per day lost an average of two pounds over the four-week period, and some lost up to four pounds. In 2007, another study cited by WebMD2 involving 11 people with type 2 diabetes found taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before bed lowered glucose levels in the morning by 4 to 6 percent. Although the research to date looks favorable, more studies are needed to confirm the extent of vinegar's insulin stabilization benefits.

Other Apple Cider Vinegar "Cures"

Although this article and many others advocate the benefits of using vinegar therapeutically, I really think that this is an inferior approach. From my perspective, it would be far better to use large quantities of fermented foods to get these types of acids because you will then also help to recolonize your gut with beneficial bacteria. However, vinegar is easier and certainly safe to use, so you can put your toe in the water by trying it first. Garrett, however, has been a long-time proponent of vinegar, recommending it for a number of uses.

"Apple cider vinegar might cure more ailments than any other folk remedy," he writes. Vinegar apparently provides at least some cures for allergies (including pet, food and environmental), sinus infections, acne, high cholesterol, flu, chronic fatigue, Candida, acid reflux, sore throats, contact dermatitis, arthritis, gout and the list goes on... It also brings a healthy, rosy glow to the complexion and can cure rough scaly skin. Apple cider vinegar is also wonderful for animals, including dogs, cats and horses. It helps with arthritic conditions, controls fleas, repels flies, and gives a beautiful shine to their coats."

As an example, Garrett has shared the following recipe with me, which can help soothe a sore throat:
"Use 3 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar, 3 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. of honey and 16 oz. water, and warm to sipping temperature and sip. Adding juice from chopped ginger can be used for more power."

What Can Account for Apple Cider Vinegar's Health Benefits?

Many who tout apple cider vinegar's wide-ranging benefits claim its healing power comes from the abundance of nutrients that remain after the apples are fermented. However, standard nutritional analyses of apple cider vinegar have found it to be a surprisingly poor source of most nutrients. For example, the one milligram of calcium found in a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar does not come close to the 1,000 milligrams a typical adult needs each day.

It has also been claimed that soluble fiber in the vinegar, in the form of pectin, binds to cholesterol and helps carry it out of your body, thereby improving your lipid profile. However, apple cider vinegar contains no measurable pectin or any other fiber, for that matter.

Its magic can also not be traced to vitamin content. According to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), apple cider vinegar has no measurable vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, beta-carotene, or folate -- and it's equally lacking in amino acids, lycopene, or any other nutritional elements.

Still, despite the fact that it's devoid of many of the traditionally valued nutrients, evidence of apple cider vinegar's health benefits has been witnessed for hundreds -- maybe thousands -- of years. So, what can explain this mysteriously beneficial elixir?

It may be partially related to the fact that vinegar is a diluted acid, specifically acetic acid, which help to normalize your body's pH. This likely improves nutrition, by optimizing your gut flora and helping eradicate pathogenic or disease-causing bacteria, and by serving as growth accelerators for beneficial bacteria that typically thrive in more acid environments. This is also one of the reasons why eating fermented foods is so important.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs

Pet care is another area where vinegar can be a useful, non-toxic, all-natural tool. According to Garrett:

"Vinegar is a remedy with multiple uses for dogs including alleviating allergies and arthritis, and helping to provide the correct pH balance. You can give apple cider vinegar to any animal by simply adding it to the water.

If your dog has itchy skin, the beginnings of a hot spot, incessantly washes its feet, has smelly ears, or is picky about his food, an application of apple cider vinegar can help. For poor appetite, use it in the food at 1 tablespoon, two times a day for a 50 lb. dog. For itchy skin or the beginning hot spots, put apple cider vinegar into a spray bottle, part the hair and spray on. Any skin eruption will dry up in as soon as 24 hours and shaving the dog won't be necessary – which is good because I never recommend that. If the skin is already broken, dilute apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of water and spray on.

Taken internally, apple cider vinegar is credited with maintaining the acid/alkaline balance of the digestive tract. I take a large spoonful straight or in my "witches brew" in the morning that I drink at least once a day.

Another tip is if you have a dog that has clear, watery discharge from the eyes, a runny nose, or coughs with a liquid sound, use apple cider vinegar in his or her food. One teaspoon twice a day for a 50 lb. dog will do the job.

After grooming sessions, use a few drops in dogs' ears after cleaning them to avoid ear infections. Fleas, flies, ticks and bacteria, external parasites, ring worm, fungus, staphylococcus, streptococcus, pneumococcus, mange, etc. are unlikely to inhabit a dog whose system is acidic inside and out.

Should you ever experience any of these with your dog, bathe with a nice gentle herbal shampoo - one that you would use on your own hair - rinse thoroughly with vinegar, and then sponge on apple cider vinegar diluted with equal amounts of warm water. Allow your dog to drip dry. It is not necessary to use harsh chemicals for minor flea infestations. All fleas drown in soapy water and the apple cider vinegar rinse makes the skin too acidic for a re-infestation. If you are worried about picking up fleas when you take your dog away from home, keep some apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle, and spray your dog before you leave home and when you get back. For raw spots caused by excessive licking, use a few drops in water, and sponge the affected areas with apple cider vinegar."

Horticultural Uses for Vinegar

Vinegar can also be used to control weeds in your garden. According to Garrett:

"To keep the weeds out of a decorative or utility gravel area, the best approach is to design them out from the beginning or use organic products later to kill the weeds. Salt, toxic herbicides and bleach should never be used because they contaminate the soil long term. They also leach into the water stream. To head off the problem, install the gravel in a thick layer – 6 to 8 inches after scraping away all grasses and weeds.

Any weeds that grow through the gravel can be sprayed and killed with a mix of 10 percent pickling vinegar mixed with 2 ounces orange oil and 1 teaspoon liquid soap or you can use commercial organic herbicides. Vinegar sprays can also be used to kill weeds in the cracks in sidewalks and driveways. The best choice for herbicide use is 10 percent white vinegar made from grain alcohol. It should be used full strength. Avoid products that are made from 99 percent glacial acetic acid. This material is a petroleum derivative. Natural vinegars such those made from fermenting apples have little herbicidal value.

Herbicide Formula:

1 gallon of 10 percent (100 grain) vinegar
Add 1 ounce orange oil or d-limonene
Add 1 tablespoon molasses (optional - some say it doesn't help)
1 teaspoon liquid soap or other surfactant (I use Bio Wash)

Do not add water

Shake well before each spraying and spot spray weeds. Keep the spray off desirable plants. This spray will injure any plant it touches. This natural spray works best on warm to hot days. Vinegar sprayed on the bases of trees and other woody plants will not hurt the plant at all. This technique was first learned about by spraying the suckers and weeds growing around the bases of grapevines.

If your water is alkaline, add 1 tablespoon of 50-grain (5 percent) natural apple cider vinegar to each gallon of water to improve the quality of the water for potted plants and bedding. This doesn't have to be done with every watering, though it wouldn't hurt. This technique is especially helpful when trying to grow acid-loving plants such as gardenias, azaleas, and dogwoods. A tablespoon of vinegar per gallon added to the sprayer when foliar feeding lawns, shrubs, flowers, and trees is also highly beneficial, especially where soil or water is alkaline. The other horticultural use for vinegar is in the watering can."

Other Uses for Vinegar

Last but not least, vinegar can be used to remove certain pesticides and bacteria from your fresh produce. Of course, you don't need apple cider vinegar for this—any basic white vinegar will do.

Gayle Povis Alleman, MS, RD recommends a solution of 10 percent vinegar to 90 percent water as a bath to briefly soak produce.3 Just place your veggeis or fruit in the solution, swish it around, and rinse thoroughly. Just don't use this process on fragile fruits (like berries), since they could be damaged in the process or soak up too much vinegar through their porous skins.

Apple cider vinegar has also long been used as a natural hair care product. Its acidity is close to that of human hair; it's a good conditioner and cleaning agent, as well as an effective germ killer. While we need a great deal more research to investigate vinegar's full healing potential, it can certainly be useful in a variety of ways, for a variety of conditions. It's definitely a great multi-purpose tool to have in your pantry.

A new monumental moment is approaching as the newest Martian rover closes in on its journey towards the Red Planet. Curiosity has been trekking through space since last November, and will be completing its 352-million-mile journey on August 5, 10:31 Pacific time. This Sunday, redOrbit will be bringing you live coverage of the event, nicknamed "seven minutes of terror," from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Bringing the Mars Science Laboratory safely into the Martian atmosphere, and landing Curiosity onto its surface is not a simple task. NASA has acknowledged the difficulty its engineers will be facing this Sunday, by making one of the most complicated landings in the space agency's history from over 300 million miles away.

MSL launched aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket on November 26 at 10:02 a.m. eastern time from Cape Canaveral last year. Since then, it has been making its way through space at nearly 13,000 mph. During NASA's "seven minutes of terror" in trying to land the rover safely on Mars, engineers must bring the 13,000 mph spacecraft down to 1.7 mph before reaching the surface to ensure Curiosity lands in one piece. The car-sized rover will be landing beside a Martian mountain in Gale Crater to begin a two year mission of scientific work, helping to uncover whether the area has ever had a suitable environment to support life. In order to reach its landing spot, Curiosity will be flying like a wing in the upper atmosphere of Mars, instead of dropping down lie a rock and utilizing the airbag method.

At about seven miles above the surface of the planet, and at a velocity of 900 mph, MSL will deploy a parachute to slow down the descent even more. The spacecraft will be riding down towards the surface for about another six miles before reaching 180 mph. At this stage, curiosity will be released, and the "sky crane" method will be initiated. Mission engineers designed a "sky crane" method for the final several seconds of the flight. During this journey towards the surface, a backpack with retrorockets controlling the descent speed will lower the rover on three nylon cords just before touchdown. NASA said 76 pyrotechnic devices must fire on time during the descent to get Curiosity to the surface.

These types of experiments have been conducted in your world for many eons. What we have been attempting to do is to carefully study the motives and behavior of the human psyche development over the many long years of your journey through means of artificial stimuli, sometimes concerning monetary gains and losses, and sometimes other situations that have tested you and measured your growth and your development in many different ways.

We are not here to play games or meddle with your lives irresponsibly. We are here conducting serious scientific evaluations and experiments to better understand the being that is human, and to better prepare you for your advancement in becoming Galactic beings and a Galactic society as well.

We do not wish to see any of you suffer unduly through such experiments, and each of you that has taken part in these experiments has given us your complete permission before any of these procedures are carried out. Never are any of you selected for such assignments without discussing in advance exactly what these experiments will entail and demonstrating your willingness to cooperate in these field tests. Each of you that has participated in these tests either have been or will be rewarded in one way or another, which has also been discussed with you and these terms were agreed upon by you prior to your participation in these experiments.

We do not see you as guinea pigs. We have nothing but the highest respect for each and every one of you, and we see these experiments as extremely valuable to you and to your society as a whole, as they have been used to better prepare you for bigger and better things that await just ahead for you. These technologies and equipment cannot be misused or mishandled, and it is of great importance that many of you learn how to properly use and maintain these technologies in order to safely utilize them to better the lives of your people. We will be monitoring the use of much of this equipment and technologies, and we will not let these be misused in any way. This cannot be allowed, as much of this technology is very powerful and its misuse can have negative consequences, and therefore its use must be carefully observed for matters of safety.

Again, we do not wish to mettle overbearingly in your concerns, but we do feel it is important that we monitor certain situations over a certain period of time as your world experiences rapid development as a higher dimensional society. This is for the greater good of all, and we only wish to allow your journey to proceed safely as you experience the many changes that will bring to each of you better and more proficient lives in so many ways. Your lives are about to change greatly in many ways, and we have very dedicated and able crewmembers to assist you make these transitions as smooth as possible. There will be no limits to the assistance that we can provide you and will provide you, and there will be no limits to educational and training courses that will be made available to each and every one of you, and these will be provided freely without cost, of course, to all of you.

These courses will be made available all throughout your world, and will be made available to each of you no matter which language you currently speak. There will be no limits of what you can learn, and there will be no qualifications of any kind for any of you to be welcomed to participate in any of these courses or teachings. Your new society will be based on a system that will provide free and unlimited access to each and every being on your planet. There will be no tuitions, no fees, no taxes, no entrance exams, no qualifying grades needed or letters of recommendation. Each and every one of you will be entirely welcomed to begin training or education in any field that you desire to learn.

This is one of the attributes of your new society, and we look forward to seeing so many of you taking advantage of these new and wonderful opportunities to learn about so many new subjects that have not been made available to you up until this point. Your new world will be full of new mystery and questions, and we wish to provide you with all the answers that you seek. We’ve seen the light: Nasa spots light being emitted from “super-Earth” planet

Light glowing from a "super-Earth" planet beyond our solar system has been detected by Nasa’s Spitzer Telescope.

Until now, scientists have never been able to detect infrared light emanating from 55 Cancri E, a super-hot extrasolar planet twice the size and eight times the density of our own.

The Spitzer telescope was able to detect a super Earth's direct light for the first time using infrared vision. …

Experts are hailing the latest discovery as a historic step towards the eventual search for signs of life on other planets.

55 Cancri E is one of five exoplanets orbiting a bright star named 55 Cancri in a solar system lying in the constellation of Cancer (The Crab).

Previously, Spitzer and other telescopes were able to study the planet by observing how the light from 55 Cancri changed as the planet passed in front of the star.

In the new study, Spitzer instead measured how much infrared light came from the planet itself – revealing some of the planet’s major features.

At 41-light years from Earth, the giant planet is considered uninhabitable since it locked by tides, meaning that one side always faces the sun, and it doesn’t appear to have much of an atmosphere.

That means the surface of the planet has a temperature of 1,727 Celsius – or 3,140 degrees Fahrenheit – on its sun-facing side. That’s hot enough to melt silver or aluminium.

The other side doesn’t face the Sun at all and it is calculated that one year on the alien planet lasts just 18 hours.

The new findings are consistent with a previous theory that 55 Cancri E is a water world: A rocky core surrounded by a layer of water in a "supercritical" state where it is both liquid and gas, and topped by a blanket of steam.

Bill Danchi, Spitzer programme scientist at NASA, said: “Spitzer has amazed us yet again. The spacecraft is pioneering the study of atmospheres of distant planets and paving the way for NASA's upcoming James Webb Space Telescope to apply a similar technique on potentially habitable planets.”

Michael Werner, who also works on the Spitzer project, added: “When we conceived of Spitzer more than 40 years ago, exoplanets hadn't even been discovered. Because Spitzer was built very well, it's been able to adapt to this new field and make historic advances such as this.”

The planet was first discovered in 2004 and the new findings are published in the current issue of Astrophysical Journal Letters.

Ramen: A Raw Food Recipe from Chef Jennifer Cornbleet

 
Serves: 2 (makes 2 1/2 cups)
Prep Time: 15 minutes

This recipe is from Jennifer Cornbleet’s Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People Revised (to be released in June 2012). For more of Jennifer Cornbleet’s raw food recipes and tips, visit her website.

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups water
1/2 cup baby spinach, firmly packed
1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots
1/2 cup thinly sliced cremini mushrooms
1 zucchini, peeled
2 tablespoons mellow white miso
1/2 teaspoon tamari
Dash salt
2 teaspoons thinly sliced green onion

Equipment
cutting board
chef’s knife, 8-inch
vegetable spiral slicer
peeler
measuring cups
measuring spoons
small saucepan
small bowl
fork
wooden spoon

Directions

Cut the zucchini into thin noodles using a vegetable spiral slicer. Alternatively, use a vegetable peeler to create long ribbons by drawing the peeler down all sides of the zucchini until you reach the core.

Put 2 cups of the water and the spinach, carrots, and mushrooms in a small saucepan. Cover and turn on the heat to medium-high. Just as the vegetables and water begin to boil, remove the saucepan from the heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Combine the remaining 1/4 cup of water with the miso in a small bowl. Whisk with a fork until blended. Add the miso mixture, zucchini noodles, green onions, tamari, and salt to the water and vegetables and stir until well combined. Serve immediately.

Message from the Galactic Federation of Light 3/31/12

Hello my friends, in the days ahead there will be challenges that you will be required to rise up and face as courageously as you can, as there will be those of you who are asked to become leaders of your fellow man and lead them through the face of adversity. This is the reason some of you are here, and this is your purpose at this time. If you feel you are being called to the forefront of your people, then we say to you this is your call and you are hearing it loud and clear. We say to you, follow this beacon that will lead you to a destination that will see you taking charge of situations and assisting your brothers and sisters to make it through these days ahead with grace and confidence that they will make it through these events safely, seeing no harm come to them or their families who have trusted your leadership and have been inspired by your wisdom, your courage and your understanding of these events.

What you are being asked to do is to relive the events that have transpired here in the distant past, but this time you will gather all your resources, including each other, to assist you better handle these challenges and rise to the occasion, defeating any obstacle that presents itself in your path. You are being asked to face these challenges with courage and determination and a will to survive. What you are not being asked to do is to panic, to fear, to turn on each other, to quit, to feel sorry for yourselves and to allow these challenging events to overpower you and defeat you.

You all have gone through so much through your many incarnations into the physical, and all of these experiences have been stored within your subconscious as tools in your arsenal to allow you to better face the adversities of the period that you are in at this very moment. All of these past lives and all of these experiences were very important and for a reason, and that reason is now. You may view your past lives as your training ground to hone your skills that you will need to make it through the months ahead according to your terms, according to your vision of how you wish to experience your existence.

You make the rules, you call the shots. You have the power and the means to experience the days ahead the way you wish to, and we ask you, do you have the determination, do you have the will, and do you have the courage to make it through these days ahead the way you wish to.

There will be many from this day forward who will choose many different paths of experience, and you will be required to make a decision as to whether you choose to be a follower or a leader. Many paths will present themselves, and many of those among you who will present themselves as leaders down these paths, but remember, there will be many leaders and many paths and not all of them will lead you through smooth roads and clear skies. It is up to you and no one else to choose if you wish to lead, if you wish to follow, and which path you will walk from this moment forward. There will be ‘false prophets’ who beg you to follow their Sirens call, and they will lead you down a path of destruction.

Who is it that you are following? Why is it you are following this person? Why do you resonate with their preaching? Where will the path they are leading you down emerge?

It is time to reveal to you more of your purpose here, and the time has come for you to understand better your choices as the days are numbered and they grow shorter every moment. The days and months will pass by you very quickly and it will be soon that important choices present themselves to you, and it is of most importance for you to accurately recognize them and consciously realize that a choice is being offered you and that you must choose. There will be no way to move forward without choosing a path, and not choosing will result in you traveling down one of these paths whether you consciously made this decision or not.

As we have advised you all along, there is nothing to fear. This does not mean you cannot choose fear as one of your paths. All along all of your journeys you have always had the option of choosing the path of fear, or choosing the path of love. This is no different today, and will be no different tomorrow. You may if you wish, consciously choose each path presented to you based on these two differing emotions. We will not persuade you to choose either of these paths. You do not need our coaching any longer in this regard. Each of you by now understands, at least superficially, the differences between these two emotions and the qualities and traits that each of these paths will bring to your experience. Recognizing the differences between a path of fear and a path of love should come naturally to you. Which is the path that makes you feel good, makes you feel safe and secure, makes you feel loved, makes you feel confident, makes you feel empowered, and which is the path that instills you with fear, of emptiness, of insecurity, of uncertainty, of danger?

We will not point you in either direction down any of the paths presented before you as this is not why we are here, and it is not our right to influence you in this way. We are here to assist you in many ways, but we are not here to convince you how to proceed through your journey. We will offer you choices of our own, but you maintain the right to either accept or decline our assistance. No one will ever force anything upon you, and if they do, then you may immediately recognize this energy as either love or fear, light or dark. Some of what we offer you will benefit those of you who choose to proceed through the following days safely, seeing no harm come to them or their families, but again, it is your choice whether to accept these offerings.

The days ahead will rock the foundations of many of the lives of your people; there will be no doubt of this. How you respond as individuals and as a collective has been the subject of much debate and study for eons of time, and we are as uncertain how you will choose to experience these events ahead as some of you may be uncertain as well. What we plan to do is make your choices crystal clear, and to lay out for you like a roadmap these paths so you will be able to carefully study these lanes and more accurately see where each one leads. This is what we can do for you and we will do just this, and each and every one of you will have the opportunity to see clearly all the roads before you that will lead you from today to the end of this chapter in your history.

We feel that uncertainty is a cause of a great amount of the fear that many of you are feeling at this time, and it is uncertainty that we feel is an undue part of the equation and we will make every effort to remove this factor from the equation. We would like to say at this time that there will be at least one path that leads you through these events unscathed and unhurt, and that will allow you to experience your ascension into the higher realms according to the wishes many of you expressed before your current incarnations. This will be one of your choices, and this choice will not be taken away or disappear for any reason. Understanding this should put some of your minds at ease as you now know that this path exists and will present itself for you to consider and to choose if this is what you wish.

To recognize this path we suggest to you to review your tools that can help you better recognize and discriminate between the paths of love and fear. It will be up to you to make each decision going forward, and we wish you to always keep in mind that at any time you can exit one path and begin on another if you choose. You may find that you are walking on a path that begins to grow darker as night begins to set in.

You may, if you choose, exit that path and step foot on the ground warmed by the light of the sun. There will be many opportunities for you to recognize which path it is you walk upon, and as we have said, we will do what we can to make your choices as clear as possible, but will not unduly influence your decision-making.

We understand many of you may be confused at this time and may be feeling fear as you are beginning to learn of events that will surely present themselves. We suggest to you to find your place of center, to remain calm and balanced, and to consider the choices before you. Proceeding in a calm and balanced unemotional state will better prepare your mind for the decisions you will have to make.

Making any decisions from a state of imbalanced emotion may cause you to make decisions you feel at that time are in your best interest, but may lead you down a path you would not have chosen if you had remained emotionally balanced. This is why we tell you that fear and its many properties is so detrimental to your journey, as fear clouds your vision and confuses your decision making. Give yourself the opportunity to clearly choose the path you wish to travel by resisting any fear.

As we have said, there is nothing to fear, and at least one of your paths will be smooth, safe and secure, and will lead you through to your ascension. If you remain in a calm and balanced state of emotion this path will shine bright to you and will call you by your name, and there will be no way you can miss it if this is what you choose. Considering this, how important do you feel it is at this time to remove any fear that may dwell inside you and to resist it if it should knock upon your door? Will you make it a priority each and every day and give your sincerest efforts to examine your emotions and work to better control them? We suggest to you to do just this and put aside all of your 3rd dimensional distractions and work on this, studying your emotions and learning to better deal with them.

There are many Lightworkers out there among you who have trained extensively to be of service to you in this very field, and we say to you do not be shy and to ask for their guidance as this is why they are here and this is their mission at this time. If you are receiving guidance from another and they are assisting you to remove the obstacle of fear from your path, than we say to you that you have successfully found a worker of the light who is here in love and service at this time. If you are receiving guidance from another who is reinforcing your fears or adding to your fears in any way, we say to you walk away from this person as they may mean well, but they are not doing the work of the light that they may claim to be doing.

Again, we suggest to you to take as much time as you possibly can during each and every day and review carefully your emotions. Are you feeling calm reassurance and security, optimism, hope and courage, or are you becoming nervous and scared, unsure, unconfident, and frightened for your safety and the safety of your family? If you are, then we suggest to you to seek guidance from another. We suggest to you to begin to openly engage in conversation with others that you have met through communities of light and engage in conversations that will lead you to the guidance you seek.

Those of the light who are highly trained, skilled, and very qualified to offer you this guidance are here in your world in great numbers and they are here throughout your online community, as they have followed their call in service for the light and they want nothing more than to be of service to you at this time. This is why they are Lightworkers, and this is why they are here, in honor and duty they will fulfill their missions. Allow them to do what they have come here to do and reach out to them as they will reach out to you, and this is how it will be from this day forward as none of you have to walk any of these paths along. We are here as well, we are watching over you, and we want nothing more than for you to successfully choose the path that you wish to travel and we will do all that we can to see to this. This is our assignment, and in honor of duty we will fulfill our mission as well.

For some of you, stored within your subconscious are memories of this past event, and this is all you will have of this emotion. You will not have to relive this past catastrophe if you do not choose to. This is your choice at this time. You will not have replayed in your mind the events of your past, and you will not have to relive this experience or the emotions tied to them. You are being given the opportunity to purify yourselves of this past traumatic incident. You are being given the opportunity to clear not only these deep rooted emotions seated within you, but also to eradicate this past event from your experience. This is a tremendous opportunity for you and everyone to clear the residue of this event from your memory banks. This is what many of you have come here to do, as these deep rooted memories and buried emotions have stifled somewhat your advancement.

You have come back here at this time with the opportunity to replay this event and achieve through this opportunity a new outcome. Tremendous effort has gone into the planning of this event by many beings and many organizations throughout this universe, and we say to you to take advantage of this opportunity given you as this opportunity will not be offered again. What you are being offered is so rare in this universe that we say to you it is likely this kind of opportunity will never be offered anyone anywhere again. Do you understand now a little better why you all are blessed to be here and why you are being given this opportunity?

Many of you have learned how important it is to clear deep-seated emotions that work to weigh you down and interfere with your progression through your path of existence. There are many techniques available to release these deep rooted emotions from yourselves, and this entire scenario of your world has been designed as a tool to assist you to release an experience that, for many of you, has been the most traumatic and is giving you the most trouble on your journey. By reliving this event and choosing a different outcome, you will have the ability to clear this negative energy from your being. Whether you choose to do this or not is entirely your decision, and we will honor each and every choice you make.

We will only say to you that a great deal of effort has gone into this process, and you have also gone through so much to reach this point to have before you this opportunity, and we say to you do not squander it, take full advantage of it, and do what it is you have come here to do. No matter the outcome, none of you will regret being given this opportunity, and again, what you choose to do with it is up to you. There were many who wished to be here at this time, but their desire could not be accommodated. You are one of the fortunate ones, and we remind you of this only to motivate you to take full advantage of this blessed opportunity. We see so many of you doing just that and taking full advantage of your opportunities at this time.

We say to you there is something else you can do as well that will not only benefit you, but your brothers and sisters as well, and that is to assist your brother and your sister to also use this opportunity to its fullest benefit. Those are some of your choices at this time, and as we have said, you will have many choices presented to you and we will do our part to make these choices as clear to you as we possibly can. We will do what we can and take every step necessary to allow you to recognize these choices, and let you know when it is time to choose.

Today you are being given the choice as to whether you wish to proceed with your learning and your growth, or whether you wish to go back to the lives that you have become accustomed to, close your doors and your windows and try to somehow block out the events that are transpiring around you.

That is your choice today, and you are required to make a decision and then proceed with your life along that path. There will be new paths presented to you along the way, and you will have further opportunities to decide which way you would like to advance, or return back to where you are now and shut out the world around you. This is your choice, and we await your decision.

All along your journey you have had the opportunity to continue forward or stop your progress, and each and every one of you has chosen to move forward and that is why each and every one of you is here at this time today. We only suggest to you that you have gone this far and have gone through so much to reach this point, so why stop now when you are so very close to the goal you had in mind the day you set out on your very long journey.

Stunning Nasa video shows how the Moon evolved from a flaming ball of fire

The evolution of the Moon from a ball of fire 4.5 billion years ago into the satellite we see at night has been turned into a video by Nasa.

The video was created at its Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland and shows in 2.41min the changes from its early molten beginnings to the rugged silver-grey piece of rock that Neil Armstrong first set foot on in 1969.

UFO or an elaborate hoax? Flying saucer-like object filmed from plane causes stir on Web

A video showing what appears to be a UFO whizzing past a commercial jet has been creating a stir on the Web.

Footage captured by a startled-sounding passenger seemingly shows a white bowl-shaped object flying over Seoul, South Korea, at high speed.

At first the object keeps pace with the aeroplane, before suddenly disappearing out of shot as the passenger tries to zoom in for a closer look.

Later in the video the mysterious shape is magnified and slowed down.

But is the UFO sighting authentic or just a computer-generated hoax?

Whatever the explanation, the video - which has racked up almost a million views since it was posted three days ago - has divided viewers. The owner of the video has speculated that it could be a military drone.

Others humorously suggest that it is a giant frisbee or flying Mentos.

There are 21 councils that exist and take a leading role in the affairs of your planet. We, in turn, voice our concerns and our opinions as to how your world should be governed and a vote is then taken to decide these matters. Many issues have been decided upon in this manner, and we at this time would like to discuss with you some of these issues.

The timetable for your awakening and return to full consciousness has been often discussed, and this is one of the key areas of discussion for some time within the councils. It has been decided that your year of 2012 would be the time for such an awakening, and many projects are underway at this time to facilitate this mass awakening. How to bring about your awakening has also been a topic of much debate, and it has been decided that a slow process would be the best suitable method as it is felt a sudden awakening would be too great a shock for some of you.

Further matters of discussion have dealt with issues ranging from how each of you individually would be awakened, and it was decided that those who knew you best would handle your individual awakenings as only they know what information you can handle and at what speed you could process it. This is why so many of you are being contacted at this time by your Star Families, and this is why so many of you are receiving clues in the form of dreams and other hints as well, as some of you are finding that your lives have contained some clues along your path that have been carefully placed to jog your memory and gently remind you of your past.

Some of what you may discover about yourself will be rather surprising to you, and some of you may be a little stunned by some of this information. Remember though, many of you have lived many lifetimes over a period of many eons, and as such have an incredibly long history relative to your brief lifespan of your current incarnation. Some of you are from this galaxy, the galaxy you may refer to as the Milky Way, and others, even possibly members of your own Earth families or your close friends, are from distant galaxies throughout this universe.

We, the councils that govern this experiment called Earth, have brought you here and mixed and mingled all these different races from throughout this universe in order to conduct a great social experiment that sought to discover how you would and could all work and play together, and which groups fared better in these ways when paired with certain other groups. Many goals have been reached throughout this long and vast experiment, and large amounts of information have been gleaned from your interactions with each other throughout your many lifetimes.

This great experiment is now drawing to a close, though keep in mind, this experiment is not over yet, and as a matter of fact, some of the most important information has yet to be extracted from your experiences. This calendar year of 2012 will see a great many new variables inserted into the experiment, and many eyes are upon all of you as you proceed through the sometimes radical changes and disruptions to your normal lives.

The introduction of extraterrestrial beings into your world is one major insertion into your reality that is scheduled to take place rather soon in the coming days ahead. We wish you all to know at this time that this is not an alien invasion, as we are your brothers and sisters from your home worlds who have designed this entire experiment and who have been watching over you for the entire span of all your incarnations. We would never let any harm come to you, and this is the case today just as it has always been.

We wish at this time to proceed with your awakening as it is soon that we wish to land on your soil and rejoin our space family members in reunion. We of the councils have concluded that the removal of your criminal Cabal is a necessary step towards this goal, and this is the current phase of our operation that we are engaged in at this time. Matters are proceeding smoothly, and we see arrests beginning shortly of these various men and women from many parts of your world. The removal of these dark hearts will allow for a far safer reunion with you, our families, as this will enable us to focus on pressing matters at hand rather than to continually monitor the dark and their plots to hamper our mission.

These cabalists were also a key component to our overall experiment, as nothing you have experienced was by chance. Your reality was carefully planned and meticulously orchestrated from the outset, and the Cabal was allowed to flourish in order for us to gain very valuable research from their thoughts and actions as well as your, the people’s, reactions to their agenda to enslave you. This is one area of this wide ranging experiment that we deem a complete success, and our findings of all you have encountered and endured will be discussed with you, at length if you so wish, after the conclusion of this endeavor.

This will be soon, as there remains little time left considering how many very long years you have all been a part of this experiment.

We wish at this time to thank each and every one of our participants and tell you how pleased we are for all your immense efforts through the many tests and trials you have endured in the name of science and research.

Please remember that you have all volunteered for this experiment because you all felt the knowledge gained from it would be extremely beneficial to those who design and build this, as well as other, universes. Your efforts here will not soon be forgotten, and each of you is owed such a large debt of gratitude for your service in this regard. We of the councils thank you and applaud your efforts, and we wish to assure you at this time that this will all be over for you very soon and you will be returned to full consciousness and your Star Families, wherever they may be from, very soon in the days ahead. What a joyous moment this will be for you as well as your brothers and sisters from the stars.
You have been promised that your lives would change for the better very soon, and this promise will not ever be broken. Many of you left lives of great abundance and beauty before leaving it all behind to journey here, and all that you have said goodbye to will be returned to you just as it was left by you. There is nothing of your past that you will lose due to your time away and this includes all your fond memories of your friends and family.

There are also many of you who have not experienced lifetimes full of abundance and beauty such as some of your brothers and sisters have, but we have many surprises in store for you as much has changed since you have been away. Many worlds have been rewarded greatly due to your service here, and we wish you to know that so many from your home worlds have seen such improvement in their lives because of the work you have done and continue to do here. We are sure you will learn of these improvements upon your returns to your home worlds, and we are also sure your friends and family will have much to say to you about your journey here and all your tremendous efforts.
Today we would like to say thank you to all of you for your hard work and sacrifices, and assure you that you are soon to reach the end of this experiment and return to the lives you have all left behind. We of your star families are here waiting for you with open arms, and soon all your dreams and memories will be returned to you as was promised before you said goodbye so long ago.
We will be with you very soon, you have our word. Remember, no harm will come to you, and we wish you to assist to assure your brothers and sisters of who we are and our reason for being here. In time, all will understand and be returned to full consciousness, but for now, many souls will need your guidance and assistance to get through these challenging times. We know many of you will respond to this call, and we thank you again for all your efforts in this regard.
We wish you to know your safety is being looked after as we head towards your ascension into the higher realms. Much work will be done in the days ahead to ensure as smooth of a transition as is possible, and we request your assistance in these many and varied projects. ‘Help us help you’ is our motto today, and you can help yourselves greatly by learning to accept us as your brothers and sisters, for indeed we are.
Looking into these matters further, we see a date now when we can get underway our disclosure announcements, as your governments have refused to cooperate. They will, in time, be replaced with proper functioning governments who have nothing but the people’s best interest in mind, but for today, let us focus on one task at a time. We wish at this point to begin our own methods of announcing to your world that we are here, and these various programs will begin shortly as situations allow.
We have a meticulous plan for this as well, and you can be assured all of your world who wish to see this greater picture will have all the information made available to them to see this new reality that they are being offered. There will be many of those who decline this new reality, and their wishes will also be accommodated. Please honor everyone else’s free will choice to experience any reality they so desire, as they know best what is right for them at this present time. All will benefit from this experience in their own unique way, and what may be best suited for one, may not be suitable for another. Understand this, and honor the laws of free will and choice as others extend the same courtesy to you.
There are many different beings here at this time of many different levels of advancement, and we must learn to tread lightly when others understandings and realities are concerned. Again, you would not be here if we did not feel you could handle this assignment, so we are confident you will abide by these terms of your incarnation. Soon you will be surrounded only by those of like mind, and you can then engage in mutual conversations of your choice freely as you wish. Today, however, you must be careful to gauge who it is you are speaking to and how much of this life-changing information they are responding to and are interested in discussing.
This is no easy task, but what of your assignments this far have been without challenge? We know you can do it, and so do you. Continue to spread the news of our existence and our presence here in your world keeping this discussion in mind, and we wish you great success in your efforts to inform those who accept this information as to our imminent reunion with you.
Keep your eyes to the skies and your ears to the news media for signs of our arrival and of the many arrests we have spoken of.
Events are soon to get underway that will begin the great many changes to your world and your lives. We are confident this will be a most enjoyable time for all of you who do not allow fear to dampen these proceedings. Nevertheless, we will go ahead with the scheduled events as the time has come for these next stages and they cannot be delayed any longer. Much work needs to be done, and each day from now until the end of this year will be filled with the many tasks we must accomplish together, and together we will see this done.
We have a meticulous schedule we must adhere to, and we are certain that upon learning more of what these tasks are and what they mean to accomplish, you will also share our views of how important it is that we stay on schedule and do not allow ourselves to fall behind. Everything we are doing today and everything we have planned is of great importance, and we wish you to bear this in mind as we move now forward with the next phases of the operation. Stay alert for updates and for the initiation of these events as they will begin shortly and you may not have further word or advanced notice of this.
Now is not the time for distractions, and we wish you all to know when you begin to hear of these events that it is not a drill or a test of systems, but the commencement of all we have previously discussed with you, our agents in the field.
Now is the time for action, and it is action you shall now see. Remain alert. Stay prepared. The changes will be sudden and their scope far reaching. Your world needs many upgrades and changes, and the time allotted for the setup and launch of these programs is now short.
We ask you for your continued assistance to see these changes affected as quickly and efficiently as possible, and we have great confidence in you that you all will do your best to see this goal reached as you have always done.
Not knowing what precisely your future holds for you can be a rather daunting task, and we try to see this from your eyes. We are very experienced and trained to deal with any and all global threats, and we are anxious as well to get underway with our many projects that will help to ensure your safe passage into the higher realms.

Send out your signal to us that you are willing to accept us, and we will receive your message. When a great enough percentage of your human family are willing to accept us, we will begin the initiation of our introductions to you. This is the way it must be, and we ask our Lightworkers to continue your efforts laying the groundwork for our arrival.
We do see this day approaching rapidly due to all the efforts of our volunteers, and we thank you greatly for your continued assistance which is invaluable at this time. We will also assist in this regard by allowing increased sightings of our ships to further facilitate the public’s awareness of our presence. We see so many of you coming to the aid of others, and we cannot tell you at this time how pleased we are with all of you that have responded to your call and have chosen to assist your human brothers and sisters in this way. From all we have seen of your journey together from the early beginnings to today, we can tell you that you have all come so far and have grown so as beings of immense wisdom and knowledge and love for each other.
It was not long ago when many of you warred with each other, and today you instead come to each other’s assistance to help each other in your times of need. How incredibly heartwarming this is for us to witness, and we wish you all to know how loved you all are and how we so greatly appreciate everything you have done and continue to do.

(NaturalNews) For more than 400 years, bird's nest soup has long been one of the most expensive foods in the world, and even today a single bowl of it costs between $30 and $100. You can't just make it out of any bird's nest. Only the edible nest of the cave swiftlet will do, a nest made entirely out of the bird's saliva. These nests are high in calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium. They are hard when harvested, but partially dissolve into a more jelly-like consistency when boiled into soup.

Cave swiftlets nest high up on sheer rock walls inside pitch dark caves, where they build sticky nests out of their own saliva. Traditionally, these nests can be harvested only by climbing on ladders up into the heights of these caves, a difficult and fairly dangerous undertaking. Today the swiftlets are encouraged to build their nests in artificially constructed concrete nesting houses. Even so, the harvested nests still sell for as much as $10,000 per kilogram.

Perhaps due to the high mineral content of the nests, eating them is believed to enhance lung health, prevents coughs, improve constitution and even promote longevity. The nests are nearly 50 percent protein and 30 percent carbohydrates, with a relatively small amount of inorganic salts and fiber.
