Buddha's teachings

Buddha set forth his teaching in the following doctrine.

The Four Noble Truths:

1. All things and experiences are marked by suffering/ disharmony/ frustration (dukkha)
2. The arising of suffering/ disharmony/ frustration comes from desire/ craving/ clinging.
3. To achieve the cessation/ end of suffering/ disharmony/ frustration, let go of desire/ craving/ clinging.
4. The way to achieve that cessation of suffering/ disharmony/ frustration, is walking the Eightfold Path.

The eightfold path to the cessation of suffering:

1. Right Understanding of the following facts: the truth about suffering ... (The Four Truths); everything is impermanent and changes; there is no separate individual self- this is an illusion. (We are one!)
2. Right Determination to: give up what is wrong and evil; undertake what is good; abandon thoughts that have to do with bringing suffering to any conscious being; cultivate thoughts that are of loving kindness, that are based on caring for others' suffering, and sympathetic joy in others' happiness.
3. Right Speech: Abstain from telling lies. Abstain from talk that brings harm or discredit to others (such as backbiting or slander) or talk that creates hatred or disharmony between individuals and groups. Abstain from harsh, rude, impolite, malicious, or abusive language. Abstain from idle, useless, and foolish babble and gossip. Abstain from recrimination and negative statements. Abstain from harsh speech—practice kindly speech. Abstain from frivolous speech—practice meaningful speech. Abstain from slanderous speech—practice harmonious speech. Speak the truth if it is useful and timely. Practice only necessary speech. Let your speech be filled with loving kindness. Speak that which alleviates suffering.
4. Right Action: Peaceful, honorable conduct; abstain from dishonest dealings; take concrete steps necessary to foster what is good. Do things that are moral, honest, and alleviate suffering. Do not do things that will bring suffering to others or yourself.
5. Right Livelihood: Abstain from making your living from an occupation that brings harm and suffering to humans or animals, or diminish their well being. This includes: activities that directly harm conscious beings, and activities that indirectly harm sentient beings, e.g., making weapons or poisons.
6. Right Effort: Foster good and prevent evil; Work on yourself—be engaged in appropriate self-improvement. The essence of right effort is that everything must be done with a sense of proper balance that fits the situation. Effort should be properly balanced between trying too hard and not trying hard enough. For example, strike the balance between excessive fasting and over-indulgence in food. Trying hard to progress too rapidly gets poor results, as does not trying hard enough.
7. Right Mindfulness or wakefulness: Foster right attention. Avoid whatever clouds our mental awareness (e.g., drugs). Systematically and intentionally develop awareness.
8. Right Concentration: Developed by practicing meditation and/or mental focusing. Proper meditation must be done continuously while awake, and should include work on awareness of body, emotions, thought, and mind objects.

Five basic precepts:

1. Abstain from killing living beings (from destroying/taking life)—or practice love.
2. Abstain from taking the not-given (from stealing)—or practice generosity, practice giving.
3. Abstain from sexual misconduct—or practice contentment.
4. Abstain from false speech (from lying)—or practice truthfulness.
5. Abstain from taking intoxicating drinks—or practice awareness and mental clarity.

Buddha said:

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. Do not believe anything because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and the benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

The following prose, attributed to Buddha, is a poetic expression of the way he saw the world.

Buddha said:

I consider the positions of kings and rulers as that of dust motes.
I observe treasures of gold and gems as so many bricks and pebbles.
I look upon the finest silken robes as tattered rags.
I see myriad worlds of the universe as small seeds of fruit, and the greatest lake in India as a drop of oil upon my foot.
I perceive the teachings of the world as the illusions of magicians.
I discern the highest conception of emancipation as a golden brocade in a dream, and view the holy path of the illuminated ones as flowers appearing in one's eyes.
I see meditation as a pillar of a mountain, nirvana as a nightmare of daytime.
I look upon the judgments of right and wrong as the serpentine dance of a dragon, and the rise and fall of belief as traces left by the four seasons.

Story about a Hitchhiker

Picked up a hitchhiker today. Drove by the harmless old man the first time as I gave into fear and remembered movie formed beliefs of hitchikers carrying guns and carjacking. Then realized I wasn't driving near the prison, I was driving between two villages. The man was walking with a shopping bag with farmer fields in the background. So I prayed to archangel michael for protection and decided to lean on faith, exercising the law of one as I imagined myself walking with resentment another 3 km as cars passed by.

Giving into faith and accepting him as one with me I turned around and picked him up and dropped him off in the town I was headed to anyway. He only wanted to go to the store and didn't have a car. Poor guy walked 3 km and had another 3 km to the next town. No one picked him up because they were not aware or they were stuck in their own self or they gave into fear formed by beliefs formed from movies, tv, and childhood. Ask and ye shall receive. It was a subtle test (they almost always are) but it brought me satisfaction that I was loving and was faithful to the Law of One and had faith in the Creator's love and was able to help the other self in the time of need.

Life's Lessons

Anger and resentment are two of my lessons in life. Anger was caused by a lack of faith and resentment caused by a lack of satisfaction. Faith and Satisfaction (acceptance) open the inner heart and open the flow of energy to the upper chakras.

Anger is a disturbance that often sparks due to discomfort. It comes from feeling un-grounded and off-center. It comes from an overwhelming inbalance. Anger is a form of emotional communication, an energy that is powerful but is best channeled into pursuits involving energy. Sports, Dancing, Music etc etc. Anger is caused by an inbalance of the root chakra, sometimes sacral chakra. It is instinctual survival response (root chakra). Or, it may be sparked by relationships with others or our relationship with our self (sacral chakra).

The solution to anger is to find the heart, listen to the heart, express from the heart, and love dissolves anger. To listen to the heart, one has to know they are not alone. One finds faith. Faith that you are protected and that you are loved always. Faith opens the heart which unifies and dissolves first and second chakra blockages. The energy that was translated into anger by the lower chakras still remains, and that is best transmuted into physical activity to heal the physical inbalance and music to heal the emotional inbalance.

We are like Trees

Some guidance about 'evolution' and 'ascension'

We are like trees as my friend Alvin once told me and Carla Ruckert's book confirmed. Our roots need nourishment and then we expand.

Now think of chakras- the earth feeds nourisment/energy to the root which feeds to the second sacral chakra of relationships (the stem/leaves) which feeds to the third chakra of will (the flower bud) which feeds the flower of the heart (love) which feeds the throat of expression (the beginning of fruit) which feeds the third eye (the fruit growing) which feeds the unity of the crown (the fruit is ready for harvest from the tree).

Each chakra, each need of each chakra is important. Not one more than the other. Each step of the way is needed for perfection. To get the most fruit from a tree you need big roots, big stems, lots of flowers, and thus lots of healthy fruit. Keep focus on all the chakras. Your basic needs of the body are as important as meditation. The law of the universe is balance. Balance free will, universal love, and unity of all creation and you have just witnessed the Creator within you.

Balance the flow of energy and nourishment throughout each chakra and you will feel the harvest approaching.

Vow to the Creator

I have decided to take an even narrower path, or focus of consciousness:

Last night I made a vow to the Creator that I would stay in service to others despite the catalyst.

A re-affirming of focus and creation.

This vow is a personal vow to the Creator. It comes from your heart. All I ask is that each of you (due to free will), when the time is right and when you wish, also make personal vows to the Creator to be of service to others despite the catalyst (a catalyst may be generally summarized as a testing of your devotion to the Law of One)

Remember this quote as you encounter situations in life that test you- "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." ~Albert Einstein

Our future appears to me from my perspective as a forming of groups on the physical plane merging with the counterparts of the astral/inner planes and forming an alliance expressing the Law of One through all space and time and time and space. The unification of the whole.

Your Biological Computer

Your beliefs condition and qualify the space that surrounds you, creating an electromagnetic imprint that ultimately serves to attract all of your life experiences. Thoughts are real in that they have a life of their own once you create them. Most of the time, however, you are clueless on how you set your version of the world into motion. Beliefs are agreements about reality, and agreements can be changed. It is essential to understand that beliefs are the thoughts you hold within your imagination-consciously, subconsciously, and unconsciously-and in the imagination all things are real. All thoughts produce energetic vibrations, and even though you cannot see frequencies, the airwaves are full of who you are. The source is Barbara Marciniak's book, Path of Empowerment.

Beckher-Hagens UVG (vortex grid map)

If you want to see a map of the vortexes on earth, first download google earth. Then download this attachment,

doc.kml

after downloading make sure you know where you put it. Then open google earth and click file open. Open the kml file and then the grid map will overlay the earth. The map will show up in your my places area. Then drag the UVG grid out of your temporary places folder to somewhere else in the folder list so it doesn't auto delete later. Make sure it is checked to view it.

You now have the vortex map overlaying the entire earth.

-----

About the colors in Bethe Hagen's words:

COLOR CODING
The vertices (corners) of all five Platonic Solids—and two other diamond-faced regular figures, the rhombic triacontahedron and rhombic dodecahedron—align with the 62 grid points (“corners’) of the Basic UVG Grid (a “spherical’ hexakis icosahedron). Several of the figures can be positioned within the 62 points of the Grid in more than one way. A tetradhedron, for example, will align in 10 different positions. The UVG Grid maps all of these different possibilities. In the list below, the number in parentheses after the name of a figure indicates the number of placements that are possible.

Line Color Geometric Association Esoteric Meaning
Red Tetrahedron edges (10) Fire
Yellow Cube edges (5) Earth
White Octahedron edges (5) White
Black Icosahedron edges (1) Water
Green Dodecahedron edges (1) Aether

Dark Blue Rhombic Dodecahedron (5)
Violet Rhombic Triacontahedron (1)

Buckminster Fuller´s Icosahedral Great Circle Set
Orange “Yang’ great circles Each circle connects antipodal vertices of the Dodecahedron through two octahedra vertices

Light Blue “Yin’ great circles Each circles connects antipodal vertices of the Icosahedron through two octahedra vertices

Lime Green “Balance’ great circles Each circles connects antipodal octahedron vertices through eight octahedra vertices

Questioner: Now these entities incarnate into a third-density vibratory body. I am trying to understand how this transition takes place from third to fourth-density. I will take the example of one of these entities of which we are speaking who is now in a third-density body. He will grow older and then will it be necessary that he die from the third-density physical body and reincarnate in a fourth-density body for that transition?

Ra: I am Ra. These entities are those incarnating with what you may call a double body in activation. It will be noted that the entities birthing these fourth-density entities experience a great feeling of, shall we say, the connection and the use of spiritual energies during pregnancy. This is due to the necessity for manifesting the double body.

This transitional body is one which will be, shall we say, able to appreciate fourth-density vibratory complexes as the instreaming increases without the accompanying disruption of the third-density body. If a third-density entity were, shall we say, electrically aware of fourth-density in full, the third-density electrical fields would fail due to incompatibility.

To answer your query about death, these entities will die according to third-density necessities.

Questioner: You are saying, then, that for the transition from third to fourth-density for one of the entities with doubly activated bodies, in order to make the transition the third-density body will go through the process of what we call death. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. The third and fourth, combination, density’s body will die according to the necessity of third-density mind/body/spirit complex distortions.

We may respond to the heart of your question by noting that the purpose of such combined activation of mind/body/spirit complexes is that such entities, to some extent, conscientiously are aware of those fourth-density understandings which third-density is unable to remember due to the forgetting. Thus fourth-density experience may be begun with the added attraction to an entity oriented toward service-to-others of dwelling in a troubled third-density environment and offering its love and compassion.

Questioner: Would the purpose in transitioning to Earth prior to the complete changeover then be for the experience to be gained here before the harvesting process?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. These entities are not Wanderers in the sense that this planetary sphere is their fourth-density home planet. However, the experience of this service is earned only by those harvested third-density entities which have demonstrated a great deal of orientation towards service-to-others. It is a privilege to be allowed this early an incarnation as there is much experiential catalyst in service to other-selves at this harvesting.

ascension experience

Did the death/dying purification ritual for someone that passed over yesterday (they were hit by a car on the highway while trying to help another person who had a car accident), did a prayer for their protection on the other side and their family's protection. Started feeling energies on my crown, feet, hands and mind's eye. Then, the person (in their astral body) thanked me (in my mind's eye) and I saw them enveloped in golden white light, escorted by angels to Mother Father God / All That Is. They asked that their family is cared for.

Then following that experience, I felt energy enveloping me like a gentle stream flowing down my crown chakra and out my hands and then at the same time from my feet up my legs out my hips to my hands. I saw white flashes of light in my minds eye and felt emotional bliss.

Felt like my body was filling with light and I felt lighter, a little more etheric.

Past Life Healing

I have found this technique useful for healing past life situations (if this is the cause of your current life path). This works to heal your soul (the separation between this incarnation and your soul).

(Example)

1. You have grounded yourself and cleared the room with the four basic usui reiki symbols (each corner of the room contiains the 4 symbols as well as over your heart area). You have asked for a golden or white light from Source to clear all that is not for your highest good. You have visualized the light clear the room. You are now sitting in a quiet, peaceful place where you will be undisturbed, ask your Source, Higher Self, Guides, Guardian Angels, etc, for guidance during the session. Ask that you are protected for your highest and greatest good from all harm and ill will.

2. Draw and activate the power symbol (cho-ku-rei) in front of the sixth chakra (third eye), then visualize it going into this chakra (activate means saying the name of the symbol three times after drawing it)

3. Next, draw and activate the mental/emotional symbol (se-he-ki) in front of the fourth chakra (heart) then visualize it going into this chakra

4. Silently state the intention and purpose for the past life session in your own words. For example, "I want to discover the Root Event in my past life for my stomach pains and release the negative emotional charge linked to it."

5. Start the relaxation technique of your choice. (I find one of the easiest relaxation techniques is to breathe for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, and breathe out for 4 seconds, and do it over an over until you reach the meditative state)

6. After you are completely relaxed, visualize an almost blinding white or golden light filling the room from ceiling to floor, slowly spinning, and forming the shape of a Vortex. Take a few moments to view this Vortex.

7. Draw and activate the long distance symbol (hon-sha-ze-sho-nen), then visualize it going into the Vortex.

8. Draw and activate the master symbol (dai-ko-myo), then visualize it going into the vortex.

9. Next visualize getting up and walking into the middle of this vortex.

10. In a few seconds you exit on the other side, and into the Akashic Plane. And in front of you is a glowing grey wall with a porthole (the veil with a small hole)

11. Take a moment and walk up to the porthole and look in. Looking into the porthole you recognize yourself as a soldier getting shot in the stomach during a battle. You see the shock and fear on the soldier's face as he falls backward. Very quickly you understand the soldier has created an emotional charge from this event which has carried over to your present life. With this insight, instantly the emotional charge connected to the root event is released in the memory, and will cease to impact your present life.

12. Once gaining this insight, visualize and activate the reiki mental/emotional symbol and embed it into the heart chakra of the soldier from your past life.

13. Now turn around, facing the vortex from which you entered, and rapidly walk back into it.

14. In a few seconds, you will feel a sudden pull and instantly you will be back in your physical body sitting in the chair. Now take a few deep breaths and when you feel ready, open your eyes and gradually become aware of the room. The session is complete.

15. Destroy the released Psychic Debris from the session by visualizing a white or golden light again clearing the room.

Contacting the After-life and other Realms

By Chris Comish

This article explains, based upon the author's experience, techniques used successfully to contact the other side.

Not everyone needs to channel the after-life or other realms. Most seek closing or information. Only your heart knows what to do.

ADVICE- only ask to contact a specific person or being that is for your highest and greatest good. Ask that Archangel Michael and your guardian angels or spirit guides to protect you from all harm and ill will during the contact and help you with understanding the information during the contact. If you follow these words you will not be harmed and you will learn something from the contact.

Before you start any spiritual connections, you should open your spiritual portal. You only have to do it once because after that you will open and close it each time during a session by touching your hand to your forehead.

Allow 10-15 minutes for the process. To open it get in a meditative state for 5 minutes then state the following prayer. Then meditate on the words for another 5 minutes. You will then be attuned for opening and closing your spiritual portal.

The Prayer to open your portal (done only once): I ask that my spiritual portal be cleared and opened for spiritual connections for my highest good. That this expanding and opening of my spiritual portal only allow spirits for my highest good to come forth. I ask that I will be guided and protected during my spiritual contact and have contact only with spirits that I seek for information and guidance. That I receive this information with clarity and understanding in a form I can understand. I ask that this spiritual portal be open each time I touch my forehead with my right hand before spiritual contact and for the portal to be closed when I touch my forehead again with my right hand after the contact is over. So it is.

Prayer to contact spirits (done every time afterwards): After initial opening of spiritual portal this can always be done. Get in a meditative state. Intend to contact (name of spirit). Ask your source, God, higher power or whatever your belief for your protection and well being during the session. Ask for a white or a golden healing light to surround you and fill the room. Ask for wisdom and guidance throughout this session. Ask that this session will only be for your highest good. Touch your forehead with the right hand to open the portal. Await contact. You may feel cool temperature, energy flooding over you, see something in your mind's eye. This is the contact. Spirits often talk telepathically. Listen and ask questions. When done, give thanks to the spirit. When finished touch your forehead with the right hand again to close the contact. Write everything down and ground yourself.

Once contact is made initially, it will be easier to contact the other side again. It will also be easier for them to contact you.

What proof is there that this works. Here is my experience:

I was contacted by someone I knew today who died in a car crash in 2005. She needed help along her spiritual journey. The contact was via my minds eye. More proof to me that we don't really die. Our earth bodies die but we move to another realm accessed via the minds eye and the heart. She appeared in her earth body shape but the face was the most clear, the rest was kind of apparition-like. It was a positive contact. My mind always thinks after life contact is scary and so does my body but my heart knows the truth. It was actually a very positive experience, because we had a positive experience in life before she died. It is the same conversation, the same personality, the same memories, just different dimensions. I sent her Reiki to assist her and the Reiki flowed! Reiki and telepathic contact (prayer/meditation initiate this) both exist in our realm and the other realms. They are all different vibrations of light. Light exists everywhere in the macrocosm and the microcosm.

When people pass over they only lose their bodies, everything else is intact. If they liked you in life, they like you on the other side. If they didn't like you, they still don't like you (but through forgiveness Higher Powers can intercede and protect you). That is why it is so important to make amends in life and forgive as much as possible. You can change emotions/thoughts better on earth. As a body you are more than just emotions/thoughts. Without a body that's a lot of what you are.

Source: The information is based upon the author's own experiences using the techniques presented in Steve Murray's Reiki the Ultimate Guide Volume One, Chapter 10.
