I have a prayer request for a young girl.
I personally suffer from Sensory Processing Disorder, including Misophonia, and belong to a Misophonia forum. A mother of a young girl just posted the message below. Whomever is able, her daughter needs your prayers. Thanks in advance.

Hello Everyone,
I need your help. I am requesting all of you to pray for my daughter, Taylor. I told my story about her last hospital stay and how they kept her on antidepressants without after care.(And how her therapist then dropped her as well) Well that is the last time she will be on antidepressants. She tried again to take her life. (Again just 3-4 weeks after starting another antidepressant) She was in the icu unit with a breathing tube. She could not breath on her own. Medically she has improved and will be ok, THANK GOD! Anyway she is in a new hospital and off the medicine. The past week has been hell and we have a long road ahead of us so please pray for her. Tonight she seemed to have a glimmer of hope. I explained that God has other plans for her and she is going to help find a cure for this terrible condition. She was so close to death but she is one strong girl. The good news is we have educated many new people; doctors, nurses, socials workers, etc. on Misophonia. We educated a lot of people and they were ALL very interested to hear about it. All who came in contact with my daughter also did their own research as well, before speaking to her. They all seemed very sad to hear about it too. It was the first time we didn't get the strange glare or confused looks when explaining Misophonia. We explained that we are willing to do anything to help research this terrible condition. I probably won't be able to respond because I have been spending every moment at the hospital so thank you again for always being there to listen.

Thanks to all for your prayers. I haven't heard about the girl's progress yet, but will post an update when I do. I'm sure they're helping a lot.
The mother of Taylor, the girl with Misophonia, was finally able to check back in. Here's her response:
Thank you so much for your prayers!!!! My daughter came home this week.
We are determined to fight even harder to help her. I am taking the
recommendation about NFB [Neurofeedback] and have made an appt for her to start next
week. I will try anything to help her. Sorry I don't get on very often
to respond. You all have helped me in the most difficult time of my
life.

Dear Katharine, I am sorry to hear that you too have this awful illness. I will put both You and Taylor into my Crystal Healing Pondfor daily prayers and distant healing. I hope it helps you both. It must be so strressful for Taylors Parents too, but they are helping educate so many and maybe that will get something done to explore this terrible illness for a treatment that will completely help it's suffers. I don't think I suffer anywhere near as severe as this girl, but thanks for including me.
Although this disorder has been around for MANY years (tends to run in families), most sufferers thought they were the only ones their whole lives - until recent exposure in main stream media. Family members and professionals assumed the problem was psychological because of the strong psych response. But they've since discovered it's more complicated than that.
