I am delighted to welcome everyone to this Sacred Website - City Of Shamballa, where we help each other with our spiritual growth, upliftment, & healing by giving each other loving support and by sharing meditations, spiritual practices, Reiki, and healings.
 
And you are also welcome to share any blockages or problems in your spiritual journey, for we may be able to help you and extend Divine Love & Light, Healing, and Wisdom on what you are experiencing.
 
We are all divinely connected to one another, for God's Presence resides within every human being.
 
And all awakened souls are helping manifest our 5th dimensional world by continuing to unfold and embody our own Divine Presence through our spiritual practices and the Divine Healings we all need.

Great book for the Chinese New Year.

I found a book awhile ago, and wanted to bring it to your attention. It's called The Lunar Tao, the author being Deng Ming-Dao. This book goes day by day through the Chinese Lunar year, and gives a reading for each day, as well as an explaination of feast days, fasting days, etc. While the book can be read in a random manner, each reading builds on the day before.

I can say that I've learned quite a bit from this book, and it has given me a greater understanding and more insight about what it means to follow the path of Daoism.

The Chinese New Year falls on 1/31/14 next year, and that's day 1 of the Lunar year.I can highly recomend this book, and if you're looking to drop a hint as to what you would like for a gift, this would be a marvelous choice. Or you could pick it up for yourself if you're looking for something worthwhile. It might also make a great gift for someone who might need a bit of grounding or is unsure of his/her direction in life.

I am in no way promoting this book for any consideration, monetary or personal, but it's such a great book, I wanted to bring it to your attention.
