Remember the discussion I posted way earlier where I said wherever in the cycle you were, be prepared because it will change? Well, it sure did for me! Since I posted that article, I've gone through the down cycle. First, I went through a foreclosure, so I was faced with nowhere to live, and no internet. I had made a friend right about the time that happened, and we became quite close. When I finally received the eviction notice, I was obviously upset, and went to my friend to let her know what had happened. That was at the very bottom of the cycle. We talked for about 1/2 an hour, and quite out of the blue she offered to let me stay with her until I got back on my feet. That was almost 6 years ago, and we are planning to be married as soon as we can stay healthy enough. We tried to set a date several times, but have had some setbacks each time. She fell and broke her pelvis, then had to have her knee replaced. I had a hernia operation, then needed an operation to remove a blood clot in my radial artery. The amazing thing is, though, these things happened to each of us when the other one was healthy. You may think that's an unfortunate set of circumstances, but it most certainly is NOT! We have learned quite a bit about one another, and our relationship has been cemented even stronger. What seemed like misfortune at first turned into the best thing that could have happened to us. So, folks, trust in the TAO! It was there for me, I recognized it was working however it would, and yes, it will be there for you as well.
