The Right Brain is the female energy principle and it is creative, nonlinear, sensory based, and emotional as it looks at the whole. When the female principle is not balanced with the male principle, it tends to be unfocused, unrealistic, dreamy, overly emotional and ungrounded in reality. Right brained people focus on the sensory experiences of the whole, and may have conflict with comprehending the left brain linear formulas used to quantify facts in reality. Our goal in human and spiritual development is to balance both hemispheres of the brain so both functions operate in balance with each other. To achieve a unified and balanced brain function, is what expands our Consciousness abilities and integrates higher intelligence.
The Left Brain is the male energy principle and it is logical, linear, practical and focused, as it looks at the smaller parts. When the male principle is not balanced with the female principle, it tends to be confrontational and close minded, unable to understand or see the points of connection that make up the larger picture. Because the male principle focuses on what can be quantified through hard facts, and what can be perceived in the five senses, it is unable to progress in solving problems that require them to go beyond formulas. There are problems which are only resolved from creative or nonlinear thinking, applying the female principle, to which the left brain has conflicts with. The conflict is in the ability to experience the feeling, sensory emotions and consciousness aspect, which is not an ability of the left brain linear function.
This also matches the two nadi channels of Ida (Female/Yin/Silver/Magnetic) and Pingala (Male/Yang/Gold/Electric).
All things exist within the Gender Principle of Creation, The Natural Law of Polarity, also referred to as the Pairs of Opposites. One will notice the same repeated pattern in absolutely every energetic force or form in matter. Every person, place or thing will have an energetic polarity that is balanced or weighted in one form of energetic polarity or it’s opposite. This is represented also within our gender bodies, which expresses as a polarity in matter form (male or female). While our physical body exists in one polarity form in matter, our internal energies exist at both male and female principles. Our right side is “electric” and works as a transmitter, which is the active force principle of the male gender. Our left side is “magnetic” and works as a receiver, which is the passive force principle of the female gender. Our male “electron” is positively charged which interacts with the female “proton” which is negatively charged. These two forces together create the ranges of electromagnetism we experience on the planet.
To be balanced, harmonized and peaceful with one’s self, one must acknowledge the inner polarity and acknowledge the value and necessity of both gender principles in order to truly “know thyself”.
Most of these types of spiritually based experiences or relationships will push to the surface energetic imbalances, such as fears or unresolved pain that exist in the mental and emotional body. This is the only way we can become aware of our inner imbalances, especially Gender Principle imbalances. These issues must surface in our awareness so that we can recognize them in order to take responsibility for them. In making new choices we can regain our energetic balance that is aligned to our true core essence.
