Most of you already understand the necessity of grounding. Grounding is a basic and fundamental requirement that every dear soul, regardless how refined your psychic abilities are needs to make use of. When you ground with Mother Earth you are allowing her healing energies to flow through you and through her healing you are able to remain present in the here and now, relishing in the moment of connection of that very moment you embrace her…your thoughts, and inner energies become calmed and peaceful once again. - It is imperative to comprehend that there are two basic forms of grounding, one is active the other is passive. The active form of grounding primarily brings your attention through conscious and sometimes semi-conscious energy work. Try to remember that your conscious energy and the work that comes from your effort happens when you are clearly aware of the energies you are working with and manipulating. This requires a good understanding and knowing of your sensory abilities and to make them work for you by trusting your thoughts and intuition. - When you actively practice grounding, you are releasing pent up, discordant energies from your body, those energies that no longer serve you, the ones that are weighing you down into the earth, allowing Mother Earth to heal you. If you are unable to settle yourself into a park setting or where she is flourishing all around you, remember that by your pure intentions, you can still receive her healing when you envision roots growing beneath your feet, roots that connect you to the healing energies and comfort from Blessed Mother Earth.

  • The difference between active and passive grounding is about controlling the mind, ensuring your mind is at peace and grounded daily in all places in all things. The passive form of grounding can easily be described as a soft protective barrier, something like a beaver’s dam, so even when asleep, you remain grounded and at peace. And from the many things you participate in each day, your personal dam becomes expanded, developed and grows beautifully.

    There are many ways to ground yourself by touch that connects you directly to Mother Earth. As you are well aware, trees are always grounded. Try meditating in an area where trees are plenty, feel their majestic stature as you bring calm to your mind and body. They are tall, peaceful yet speak in a gentle manner when their branches are kissed by a breeze. Trees have a lot to teach you and by hugging a tree you are able to gain healing energy that is from the sacred heart of Mother Earth.
