Self-harm can be someone causing physical harm to themselves. Self-harm can manifest in other ways such as emotional/mental anguish and withdrawal and isolation.
This meditation has two possibilities First it can be for a parent, guardian or care giver who wishes to send a clearing and healing light to a being in their care suffering from this. Please note, you can ask them for permission though permission really needs to come from their Higher Selves in meditation. If the child is open you can do this meditation with them.
Secondly, this can be used to send light back in time to your own inner child/adolescent who was suffering emotional distress and even self-harm in any way at that time.
