                                             REIKI & CRYSTALS

   The technique of using crystals and gemstones on the receiver’s body for healing is called laying on of stones. It is a powerful method of cleansing negative energy, clearing and balancing the chakras, effecting emotional release, and bringing light and healing into all the aura. Using crystals can help break down blockages faster and allow the Reiki to go directly to the source of the problem. may also be placed around a room to help clear negative energies or for use in meditation or for protection.
   There are hundreds of chakras throughout the human body, but the seven traditional major chakras are in the center of the human body and are aligned with the spinal column. Each chakra is located in a specific area, has its own name, as well as a specific set of functions. A different endocrine gland is also associated with each chakra.
   Each chakra is associated with a particular color, and certain crystals can be used to help bring balance to these centers. If you enjoy working with crystals you may want to try using them to assist in the clearing. If you are unsure whether a charka IS open and functioning properly, leave an appropriate crystal on the chakra while you heal or meditate on it.    Carnelian is an excellent stone for this purpose, it directs energy to any area that needs it
One way to determine if a chakra needs clearing, is to use a pendulum. By dowsing over the chakra area itself you can determine what is happening in that particular charka. Chakras appear as a cone of clockwise circling energy, depending on the direction of view. Each of these charkas has two components: a front section on the front of the body, and a back section on the back of the body.Inside of each of these charkas are smaller cones or charkas. If you feel that a charka needs some different energy, use your intuition, as nothing here is set in cememt. Sometimes a particular charka may require different energy from a totally unrelated crystal. Play with your crystal and have fun.     Always cleanse your crystals at the end of each session.
