Amethyst and Spiritual Consciousness

Amethyst and Spiritual Consciousness The beautiful Amethyst has been used for thousands of years in psychic empowerment and healing. The amethyst radiates an energy which has often been referred to as the purple ray. Its violet colour is the same as that of the Crown Chakra. Meditation with the Amethyst can help one in reaching Spiritual Consciousness from the Universe. The Crown Chakra is a violet colour fading to brilliant white as it gets further away from the body. It is associated with wisdom and the integration of our eternal selves with our physical selves. Balancing this chakra is said to give vitality to the brain and enhance psychic abilities. Gemstones that strengthen the Crown Chakra are - Amethyst, Purple Fluorite, Sugalite. Amethyst and Healing Amethyst is a gemstone often worn by healers, as it has the power to focus energy. A healer will usually wear several pieces of jewelry with amethysts set in silver, especially an amethyst necklace. The person to be healed will have an Amethyst to hold while the healing is being done. The healer will place another piece of Amethyst on the area of the body in need of healing, the heart or lungs usually. Amethyst is used for problems in the blood and in breathing problems. Amethyst crystal clusters are used to keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive. Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts placed in a window that receives sun most of the day are very beneficial to use in healing and to heal negativity in the home. Place Amethyst clusters, points or several tumbled Amethysts in moonlight and everyone in the home will be feeling calmer. Using an Amethyst as a meditation focus will increase the positive spiritual feelings. Amethyst helps overcome fears and cravings. It also helps relieve headaches.

    Dear Melodie,

    I love your pictures, however, I need to share something.Smoky Quartz and Amethyst are not supposed to be in direct sunlight for lengthy periods.They will fade over time.

      Oh Mel, thaks for sharing this geode.I had to copy it. They have a pair of geodes cut like this one.They cal them the something sisters.The amey is a little darker.If you're ever around Butte Montana, go to their collegic Mineral Museum.About 8 years ago, they housed the biggest nugget found in the US. It was found nearby Butte in  "Brown's Gulch". I have placer mined there once but didn't have any luck.I did find an antique Garfield statue, still have it.Think it was 219 Troy Ounce ungget.It has been stolen and then years later mysterically returned.Quite the story. I am still trying to copy that Aurora Borealis video.My puter won't play it but I want to save it so when I get a program that will play it, I'll have it.The Northern Lights are on my new Bucket List.It's an awesome pic.
