I live in central Connecticut, Northeast, USA and am a long-time student and teacher of various Asian martial and healing arts. I love to cook, be outdoors, and meet new people and network with others as well.

30 years of high quality experience in Asian martial and healing arts. Shaolin kung fu, Taiji, Reiki, QiGong, and Meditation.

Teachers

Many, detailed on my website, www.butterfly-qi.com. My main martial arts teacher is 5 Form Fist Shaolin Headmaster David J. Everett. Reiki teachers include Susane Grasso and Patricia Warren, and again, I have had many, many other great teachers over the years. I have received shaktipata, empowerments, and initiation from world spiritual leaders, such as: H.H. Sant Rajinder Singh ji Maharaj, Shri Anandi Ma, Mirabai Devi, and Gen Sherab Kelsang.

Books

I am a life-long heavy reader, former 'book a day club' member and head library assistant. I enjoy many genres, from sci-fi/ fantasy to historical fiction. I am also an avid reader of anything and everything related to my arts.

Movies

Love movies too, Star Wars, Star Trek, Big Trouble in Little China, Lord of the Rings, so many more. I am a big fan of comedies as well, Stripes, Ghostbusters, on and on, including of course more recent movies.

Music

Everything from progressive rock and heavy metal, to jazz and blues, to Zen flute and New age music, Native American music, and more.

To continue my healing journey, empowering myself to more fully be of service to others.
