The greater and lesser powers of the soul
are acquired by incarnating into the world of the soul,
mantras, an overwhelming desire or through meditation.
Consciousness is transferred from a lower to a higher form
due to the greater evolutionary urge of the Divine Brahman within the soul.
All that has been taught in terms of methods
to unleash the Inner Light of the Soul
are not the true causal agencies
behind the transference of Consciousness
but are more responsible for purifying the lower bodies that are based in matter.
The Consciousness of I Am is what enables
the individuality of the soul to enjoy.
Though Consciousness is Originally Undivided,
it nonetheless produces the multiplicity of embodied souls.
Throughout the vast kingdom of forms,
the only Conscious form which is free from karma
is the form that is used to meditate on the Divine Brahman.
Dualism in all of its facets is unknown to the soul
that is liberated.
For those who are in bondage, dualistic activities are of three kinds.
From these three kinds of dualistic activities arises
those forms which are made to endure the
cause and effect relationship of karma.
Created by memory alone,
the desire to live as an embodied soul
is without a real beginning.
Desire being the glue which holds together
the propensity to incarnate into a form
and personality being the result of such a desire,
the only way to cut the cord of sentient existence
is by cutting away the attachment to an objectified
and outward going Consciousness.
The past and the present are what is conventionally considered
to be Real. Under the impressions of a timed conception
of the present, the form is but a combination
of past developed characteristics which carry latent seeds for a future personality.
The characteristics, whether active or passive,
are all reflections of the three gunas of rhythm, activity, and inertia.
Made of the elements and for the elements,
the form is the objectification or projection
of the effective side of Consciousness
instead of the Causal side of Consciousness.
What must be realized is that Consciousness and form
are distinct and separable from each other.
Though many forms are alike,
the Consciousness that is within the form
can function on higher and lower levels of Self Realized Being.
With every impulse of the mind there is a form to suit it.
Mindful of being mentally created,
create no more thoughts which will act as seeds for future rebirths.
The Perceiver is always Conscious
of what is happening in the confines of the active mind.
Due to the mind being something that is easily visible
to the senses, the mind cannot be properly called
the Source of Illumination.
The mind, being limited,
is usually only Conscious of its own activities
and therefore cannot be truly mindful of the Greater Life of the Divine Brahman.
When the level of intelligence
which is independent of the senses
and is free from objects reflects its rays of awareness
into the mind, the Self can become Conscious of Itself.
The mind, now containing the Perceiver and the Perceived,
becomes as omniscient as the Divine Brahman.
Containing an infinity of mental impressions,
the mind transformed is an instrument for the Self
and works under the Banner of Unity.
The state of Unity beyond Unity
is the reward of the soul who can
tell the difference between the mental impressions
of the ordinary mind from the mental impressions of the Self.
There is then a building up of finer and finer
levels of discrimination between the Illumination of the Self
and the Illumination of the Divine Brahman.
By sheer force of habit,
however, the mind will continue to reflect
the mental impressions of the senses and their objects in adoration.
Maintaining a distance from the aspiration
to Illumination and Unity
is healthy for the soul
who is more desirous of the Absolute Plane
of the Divine Brahman's Consciousness and Its Immense Cloud of Spiritual Knowledge.
When the Essence and Totality of Knowledge
is Clearly Known to the Soul,
nothing remains for the Soul to do in terms
of incarnating or not into higher and lower forms of Consciousness.
The Eternal Now being all that exists
for such a Light Infused Vehicle of a Self,
the Pure Spiritual Consciousness
that is the Soul Transformed
Withdraws Forevermore into the Impersonal Oneness of the Divine Brahman.

Comment by Julian Colgan on October 9, 2012 at 5:23pm The conclusion of several important scriptures is that after attaining illumination, one becomes totally dedicated to service and to serving the world in a capacity that is suited to one's character or soul. Just as God is active, so too does the soul always remain busy in God's service.
