People will hurt you.

Life has a way of wearing on you. Sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don’t. Regardless if life has knocked you down, or someone has, it is up to you to get back up! One million bad things could have happened to you, but it is up to you to stand back up. When you do get back up, it will be much harder for anything to knock you back down again.People cling to things they love and the familiarity of which they know. This is great until it gets turned upside down. Remember, you can love someone, but you can’t control if they will love you back or not. You can be a devoted friend, but you can’t control if the friendship is reciprocated. You put in all the hours at the office to get a lay-off slip at the end of your work week. All these things are so important, but they don’t make up who you are. They are a result of what you are.Take all of your awesome qualities and move on to bigger and better things. New friends, relationships, and a new career await you. But you can’t get those things feeling sorry for yourself. So get up, brush yourself off, raise your head with dignity and welcome in the new.People will hurt you. Some people will go out of their way to try and get you down, especially when you are doing well. Why do they do that? It is their jealousy and the lack of their own ambitions. Just realize that when you are down, it is not a place you choose to be, it is where life or someone has taken you. It does not mean that you are meant to stay there. It is a temporary thing! How do you get back what you had before you were knocked down? Sometimes you can’t get it back, you are not meant to get it back. Whatever it was served its purpose for that particular time. Now time has changed. It means that you have to move forward, and sometimes you move forward with new people, places and things. You should welcome this change. It is what will lead you out of your old familiar world and into a much better place. Sometimes it is hard to embrace change because we don’t know what to expect from it. I assure you that when you part with something that does not move you forward with harmony, it cannot be that good for you.
