Ch.2 - Dedicating One's Actions To A Higher Calling
Confronted with the decisions
of a lifetime,
Arjuna trembles with the ecstasy
of being close to the Lord of his heart.
Silently looking into his innermost Self,
Bhagavan Sri Krishna transmits
to Arjuna the gift of being devoted
to His Lotus Feet of Supreme Transcendence.
Questioning the motivation behind
his recent decision to engage in
the battle of virtue over vice,
Krishna, the Motivating Cosmic Force
behind all karmic actions and re-actions,
offers Arjuna the strength of a thousand men
through describing what is the right path to guided righteous living.
With a mind and heart focused on
fulfilling My Royal Desire
to liberate all living souls
from the miseries of the three lower gunas
of material nature, dedicate every second
of your supramundane and mundane existence
to acting as if you were Me.
Dropping the need to be the one
who is the center of activity
or the doer of the deed,
My Love for all living souls
will reflect its potency
in every thing that you do
which is done under My Just Guidance.
Wrestling with the pride that is connected
to the working senses and bodily limbs,
take full advantage of your ability
to clearly recognize your inner calling
for it is My Higher Calling to you, o Arjuna.
Working without the intrinsic motivations
of a personal self, re-personalize
your actions into My Actions.
As an extension of My Will-To-Good,
will yourself into being the sword
of My Mind,
chopping away at all unwholesome
desires for riches and rewards of all varieties.
Thinking along the lines of selflessness,
every action that you bring into
manifestation will ring with
the purity of the sages of ancient times.
No longer a helpless victim of your own
materialistic motivations and propensities,
act and live with the power that is brought about by Samadhi.
Enjoying Myself as your Self within,
the Supersoul in all living souls
will respond to your purity of mind and heart
with the thankfulness that is usually offered to Me.
As a sacrifice of your limited power to do good,
I will remove the veil which presently
prevents you from understanding how
devotional service is related
to your overall level of internal satisfaction.
With these instructions on Karma-Yoga,
Arjuna looked intently into the
Infinite Gaze of Krishna's Playfully Mesmerizing Eyes.

Side note on the Christ: Coming closer to Love is perhaps the most important lesson that can be engraved within the core of our Self. Also, being humble towards the Mysteries of the Creator is another important characteristic that could make anyone's experience of life more gratifying spiritually. In following the path of Universal Acceptance, the snake or shadow self must be regarded as an integral part of the phase of Divine Restoration. By putting oneself back together into a Perfect Reflection of Love, one can be easily deceived by the many glamours of the spiritual path which could include wanting to neglect the shadow self. Without being at one with every aspect of our Self, the Creator cannot accept us as we are because we still may choose to refuse that which is of the Light but is at present clothed in the garments of Darkness. It is therefore our responsibility to grow holistically in both Spirit and Matter. Treating humanity as God Incarnate, much progress can be made by offering all that we are to the Great Redeemer in order to be restored and alchemically transmuted into the God-Self.

Christ Consciousness is nothing other than Seeing God Everywhere, In All Things, and In All People. The Spirit Within Us is the Same Essential Substance in All of Its Vehicles or Gates of Light. Just as God can make Use of Everyone, God can make Use of me or you or just about any sincere loving soul. In God's Love is the Water of Relief for the Ages. Whether a Piscean or an Aquarian - God is Kind and Equal to All but IN a Transcendental Sense. God being beyond mundane human reasoning - He or She or It or All is Supreme in Consciousness or in the Monadic Flame of Eternity. Mixing Pure Spiritual Love with a Pure Spiritual Mind, the Extremes of Existence meet in a Harmonious Surge of Cosmic Power. Being Able to Love God for God and Man for Man Equally, I Am ONE without a second. There is Only ONE SOUND - OM TAT SAT (PARABRAHMAN)
