A Humble Prayer for Success - Rethinking Goal-Setting
Self-helpers might tell you to define your goals with great specificity. I'm not going to. I'm going to be very explicit about what I want while remaining vague and general enough that the grander powers in charge can way with me.
Maybe I'm in the jam I'm in now because I thought my conscious mind was in control. I've given lip-service to the resources, power and mystery of the unconscious realm, but my relationship with the deeper parts of me has involved more me telling it what I want rather than asking it what it wants.
Therefore! I won't make any specific demands. If there is something that I absolutely must have, as I literally will not live with out, I'll express it

Hi Devin
You are certainly not alone.... many of us tend to say to ourselves.. we would love this or that. Like you though I know, that what matters is the advancement of my soul's journey, inner remembrance regained, and that blueprint planned before this earth incarnation, coming into fruition.
That is not to say I would not appreciate a little extra help on some material levels!
