It has been just over two months since I started to prioritize seated meditation. I have focused on being present and accepting in the face of uncertainty, reducing my impulse to react, generating good karma and correcting habits of bad karma. It feels as if the universe is responding favorably.

When I started this project on October 7:

• I was newly unemployed
• I had a bogus criminal charge against me
• I did not have any information about when I would see…

I am all of a sudden clear on how I will turn my life around.  I will focus on giving.

All of an instant, I am aware of insight that has been offered to me for a while.  Only now it is dawning on me that several people have been providing me with precisely the wisdom that I need at this point in my life.

I will let this year be about giving. I will still eat, sleep and do some paid work so that I can be sure I'm paying my share of the rent, but I'll let my obsession be not on…

I sat down this morning knowing that I wanted to write about judgement: I and the rest of humanity have been misjudging left and right. We put people and concepts on pedestals or condemn them; we assign all sorts of meaning to symbols and time; we come up with illusory reasons to think or ourselves as awesome or crappy.  We mislead ourselves by judging.
