The minerals that have displace the moleules in the wood was through a natural process in nature.And the minerals still have properties that can help us.If the mineral that replaced the wood was Agate, then some refer to it as Agatized wood.In some rare cases and conditions the wood can be replacved by minerals that form tiny crystals.
