Is it possible to give Reiki to a spirit to help them find their way home?

Today one of my co-workers had serious pain in her shoulder and I offered her a short Reiki session in a conference room. I didn't go through my usual thorough cleansing/protection of the room, but put the symbols in each corner. My co-worker friend sees spirits and have been seeing a little girl around the office for some time now. The little girl is always giggling.

During the 10-minute Reiki session, my co-worker heard the girl giggling, then the girl appeared standing in a corner watching us. She was dressed in clothing dating back about 30 years ago. I did not see nor hear her, but I did sense her. My co-worker did not tell me until after the session was over.

A thought came to mind, my co-worker can see and speak with spirits, and the little girl appears to be very harmless. With the girl's permission, would it be possible to give her Reiki to help her to move along? Has anyone ever heard of or done this? Is this a dangerous practice?

Yes it is very possible. You can intend that the Reiki help her, heal her and bring her into the light for her highest and greatest good. I also recommend performing the purification ritual. A method of purification is through Medicine Buddha. Check this event out for more information http://www.cityofshamballa.net/events/purification-for-you. Intend purification for the girl, invoke Medicine Buddha and the 7 nectars of purification and then merge her into Medicine Buddha's heart, then call Quan Yin, then call for AA Michael to open a portal of light and escort the girl into the light. Intend this for her highest and greatest good and this will stay in alignment with free will.

Prior to sending Reiki or purification, it is recommended you place protection on yourself and in the room that only the vibrations of pure love and light are allowed into the space. This ensures a loving connection free of disturbance.
